  • Beautiful in Barbados!

"My family stayed at Dunworkin' for two weeks in June. From the initial contact Steve and Severine were excellent hosts providing information about their cottage and car rentals and answering all our questions. They were there if we needed but in no way intruded on our stay. The cottage was immaculate when we arrived and is as described with everything you need; a complete kitchen, lots of towels, comfortable beds, a huge barbeque, beautiful views from the front porch, fast internet and a wonderful shower. Severine provided fresh sheets half way through our visit although there was a washing machine there too. We found it private, peaceful and tranquil, and in such a beautiful, well maintained setting which helped us relax, unwind and enjoy a true holiday. The fenced yard would be perfect for younger children with clean sand and play equipment. We awoke each morning to the sunrise and the cool ocean breezes - never once were we too hot. The beach in front of the cottage was perfect for a nice dip and we were in it every day, washing off in the refreshing outdoor shower afterwards. We rented a car (recommended) and had a wonderful time exploring the East coast of the island. There was a great grocery store about 15 minutes away with some farmers' market stands, fast food chicken and burgers (Chefette) and a great little library that offers visitor permits. We enjoyed walking on the trail at the end of the beach to Martin's Bay. I would recommend this cottage to anyone and I would happily stay here again. If you are looking for a clean, 'no-frills', self-catering cottage on the East coast this is the place for you. I am grateful to our hosts for sharing their family treasure with us."

  • A Week in Paradise - Amazing Views!

"My stay at Idelfini was absolutly wonderful. The accomodations were much nicer than the photos, which is rarely the case. Ive visited the island of St. John several times and the views here were by far the best. This is the perfect place for someone travelling alone or a couple. Only a 10 minute drive to Cruz Bay but far enough away to enjoy the tranquility of the ocean breeze and beautiful surroundings. Great location for peaceful morning walks or hikes. Kitchen was recently remodeled and layout is very open. I would definitely recommend arriving during daylight hours as it is a bit hard to find and some steep hills. This is the perfect place to unwind, relax and enjoy the beauty that St. John has to offer. I would definitely return here."

  • Excellent apartment with beautiful views

"For a start, we have had a wonderful week in Cabo Rojo. Communication with the owner was very nice, the apartment is big en clean and has good beds, showers en absolutely everything you need! We really enjoined the kayaks! We knew there was no wifi, but we really missed it. Especially now MH17 (Dutch aircraft was shot down by Oekraine rebels) and we wanted more information. We were a little less happy with the location. Beach in front could only be used to enter with the kayak, and july is not the best month to see birds and wildlife and we preferred the more green parts of the island. But thats just a matter of taste and we knew about the dry bit from the start. Overall a very nice stay. PS there is a wonderful walk just on the left side of the watchtower! You have to pass a closed gate (so not easy to find or access) but beautiful there."

  • Amazing Time at Villa Mashek

"My family chose to stay in Villa Mashek for a weekend while in Las Terrenas, and we had an amazing time there. There was absolutely nothing we could complain about from the house itself, the staff and great location. The views alone are enough for one to be impressed. The home is kept in a very personable way, which allowed all of us to make ourselves comfortable and settle in immediately. The home staff were great people who helped us with every single thing we asked for. I would definitely recommend this to anybody, and we do intend to return to Villa Mashek in the future."
