  • Great bungalow

"My boyfriend & I stayed at the cottage for a week. The house is small but perfectly accommodates two (great for a couple's getaway). Pros: - Centrally located--a short drive from everything on the island - Screened-in porch with a table and chairs--perfect for evening drinks and meals - Full kitchen, so you can save $ by eating in - On a canal--the dock has a water trampoline and kayaks that you can use for free - There is a shed that has bikes, fishing poles, beach chairs and umbrellas, and snorkel gear for you to use whenever you want - Washer/dryer and clothesline - Air conditioning unit works well and cools the entire space very quickly (we only used it when we slept) Cons: - Bathroom is nice/a good size, but the shower stall is unbearably small; you can't step out of the water to wash yourself, shave your legs, etc. - Ants in the kitchen, though if you've vacationed/lived anywhere else tropical, you know that's kind of unavoidable (they were super tiny and mostly not bothersome, unlike some other places we've been where they are monstrous and terrifying haha) - The guest cottage is (obviously) right behind the main house, and the curtains are pretty sheer. We're not very modest, but wondered on multiple occasions whether the people in the main house could see into the bungalow when we got out of the shower/were getting dressed (probably) - You share everything in the shed with the main house--there were 2 couples staying there while we were in the guest cottage, and on multiple occasions, they took all the beach chairs and umbrellas. (We brought our own snorkel gear, but wouldn't have gotten to use it very often if we were sharing it with them--I think they took it every day) - There's no table/chairs inside, so you have to eat all meals outside--a few times after getting back from a long, hot day, we wished we could eat inside Tips: - Grace Bay is only minutes away and hands down the most beautiful beach I've ever seen. You can snorkel right off the beach and it was virtually deserted almost every time we went - There's a large grocery store close by (IGA I think), but if you stop at one of the smaller stores (there's one on the way to Taylor Bay/Sunset Beach) a lot of the prices are much lower - Our one dining "must do": Las Brisas; the view & food were ridiculous - DEFINITELY need a car; Avis is cheap - Go to the conch museum! - Long Beach is also a must-see Definitely recommend staying here! So worth the (low low) price!"

  • Cozy & Private Slice of Paradise

"This is the second year I've gone down at stayed at Connie's place for Easter - and it's wonderful! The condo is spacious with plenty of room for 4. Views are spectacular and ocean breezes are lovely. The beach is also top-notch for STT! Highly recommend this condo - great owner / property manager and if there are any issues while in the islands, she has a wonderful lady named Patsy who can help!"

  • Perfect Group Vacation

"This group of houses is perfect for a group vacation. The houses are extremely well maintained and include all the needed furniture and kitchen items. The beds were comfortable and everything was in working order. There was not much of a beach and the ocean was full of rocks but the pool and the view helped that not be an issue. We completely enjoyed our time at Ocean Paradise and would rent there again if we return to the island. Having a car is a must."

Jamaica Travel Tips

Jamaica Resorts Offer Easy Access to Breathtaking Views, Local Art and Relaxing Waters

Jamaica is a popular Caribbean destination that may be reached via air or cruise. There are plenty of sights to see and local traditions to absorb during your stay regardless of how you get there. Jamaica resorts offer access to scenic waterfalls, caves, rainforests and tropical wildlife, as well as local artwork, shops and dining opportunities.

Reserve Jamaica Resorts and Relax in the Sun

Staying in Jamaica villas means you’ll have the best of both worlds. You’ll be able to explore local natural wonders, then retire to one of the many Caribbean resorts for a restful night’s sleep. Enjoy your own private getaway on the beach, and nap in the sun as often as you like.

Rent Jamaica Villas near Local Attractions

Visitors love to tour limestone caves, waterfalls and even mineral springs near Jamaica resorts. Many of the springs are purported to have healing properties, and can be found on a simple hike through the local national forests and parks. Some Jamaica villas may also be available further inland near these natural phenomena if you prefer something a little more secluded. Many Caribbean resorts offer information on local tours and schedules so that you can plan your own adventure in the local outback!

Absorb the Local Culture and Rest at Caribbean Resorts

When you feel like simply exploring the local villages around Jamaica resorts, you can stroll along the shops and search for gifts and souvenirs to take back home with you. Try to find a local restaurant to partake in traditional cuisine for a special treat too.

Many items the locals are selling around Jamaica villas are actually handmade by island natives, so it’s not like anything you can find back at home. Don’t forget to reserve your space at Caribbean resorts to explore as much of this beautiful island as you possibly can during your stay!
