  • Wonderful Peaceful Holiday

"We stayed at Mark's villa for two weeks and it has been the best holiday we have had in quite a while. The villa itself is in a peaceful location just outside Treasure Beach. The club house on the beach has a bedroom and bathroom which is cute and the fact that they wasn't aircon was not a problem. The staff were more than willing to help with anything you needed. Special thanks to Rambo for all the driving we had loads of trips out to see all sorts of attractions, Rum Factories, waterfalls, spa baths etc and trips into Treasure beach when we fancied a night our from the villa, and to Shaun for the wonderful meals just say what you would like and off Shaun goes and comes back with the receipts and all the ingredients for some wonderful meals, the best by far was the barbecued pork and seeing him club a tree to snap off the dead wood was a sight in itself. The communication with Mark was very easy and fast and the whole process was smooth and trouble free. I would highly recommend Great Escape. Julia Thornton and family. (husband, two grown children and their partners)."

  • Mahvelous!

"BEST.VACATION.EVER. My week at Selah Villa was wonderful. If you haven't seen the photos, Selah Villa is beautiful. It's a stone's throw from Jewel (the former Hedonism resort), and features its own private beach, tennis court, and a wonderful pool. It comes with all the accoutrements you'd expect, even including two kayaks (a twin and a single) and a catamaran. The staff is AWESOME! Patrick, Ryan, and Lesreen took care of our every need. They were always surreptitiously in the background, ready to assist us at a moment's notice. Occasionally we would take a nap, and Lesreen would re-make our bed again! Ryan's cooking was awesome, we never felt any need to head outside for a restaurant, having a marvelous meal with a superb ocean view nightly was spectacular. Ryan was terrific at customizing our menu and keeping everybody fed and happy. For those not familiar with Selah Villa, the staff purchases, delivers, and prepares the food, the vacationer pays for it. Ryan helped us manage our groceries and food bill very well. The tennis court is great. I was a bit disappointed that the tennis court didn't have a net strap. The snorkeling and scuba here is world class. Great snorkeling in Selah Villa's own little private bay, as well as the rocks by the Jewel resort. Great reefs out there with plenty of aquatic life. There is a sunken ship and plane nearby (about 60 feet down) for those that are scuba minded. The Selah Villa private beach features a couple of palapas with hammock and plenty of loungers on the beach. Loved the pool and jacuzzi. It's a forty foot square infinity pool. Water is warm and inviting. The near end is super-shallow for adults to lounge around in, the middle area is shallow for kids to play around in, and the far end is deep enough to swim in. Plenty of pool toys for everyone. The tech at Selah Villa was good. Two LCDs, one with netflix. Good selection of movies. PC and wireless. Probably the biggest glitch I experienced was the internet speed. Most of the days there I experienced frustrating sub-dialup speeds. Resetting the router did help for a while. For the last two days of our trip we got decent speeds, no problem. Your mileage may vary. It's not an inexpensive vacation, but when you factor in the fact that the rental rate plus groceries is all you need, it's not as bad as you'd think. You have to spend your time on this world somewhere; this is one of the finest places to do so. Five stars."

  • The Sanctuary of Sandcastle Ocho Rios Jamaica

"This will be very difficult to find just the right words to express our 3 week stay..I will therefore make it simple..It is and was- PERFECT..in every way..Upon arrival we were greeted by the condo manager Ms Raquel...To go along with her million dollar smile- she swung open the door of the condo and indeed , we were greeted with a million dollar view- the condo amenities were as advertised and spot on first class...everything worked perfectly that mattered. note- some MINOR condo repairs are needed (ie upstairs shower door is damaged and the toilet runs on once flushed)..but outside of that- the condo had awsome Wifi , flat screen tv in living room and upstairs master bedroom, cable tv, cd player, dvd (we could not get that to work) ect-ect.... The property grounds itself is going thru a renovation, as it is true the current appearance is bit dated..Nothing but fresh paint outside is needed..Our condo support staff member- Ms Winsom is a beautiful attentive person -professional, always ready to help and guide us in the right direction...Ocho Rios is a wonderful town-- we rented a car to go to different towns but if you dont..you can walk to some great places to eat..I would recommend Ms T's Ktichen--the authentic Jamaica, Shaw Park Gardens- wonderful waterfalls, Duns River, green market by the clock tower...would we go back???? YES-YES-YES Helena"

  • PHEONOMENAL

"We traveled with our 4 children and my mother in law to Treasure Beach for the week. It was absolutely Phenomenal. It is perfectly situated On the beach with two magnificent beach coves 20 steps from the door. Our kids were able to run in and out easily all day. Absolutely highlight however is Audrey's fantastic cooking. We made a menu with her for the week and every night after a heavenly day at the beach we were greeted with a traditional, home cooked Jamaica Feast. Book early because this house books up far in advance."

Jamaica Travel Tips

Jamaica Resorts Offer Easy Access to Breathtaking Views, Local Art and Relaxing Waters

Jamaica is a popular Caribbean destination that may be reached via air or cruise. There are plenty of sights to see and local traditions to absorb during your stay regardless of how you get there. Jamaica resorts offer access to scenic waterfalls, caves, rainforests and tropical wildlife, as well as local artwork, shops and dining opportunities.

Reserve Jamaica Resorts and Relax in the Sun

Staying in Jamaica villas means you’ll have the best of both worlds. You’ll be able to explore local natural wonders, then retire to one of the many Caribbean resorts for a restful night’s sleep. Enjoy your own private getaway on the beach, and nap in the sun as often as you like.

Rent Jamaica Villas near Local Attractions

Visitors love to tour limestone caves, waterfalls and even mineral springs near Jamaica resorts. Many of the springs are purported to have healing properties, and can be found on a simple hike through the local national forests and parks. Some Jamaica villas may also be available further inland near these natural phenomena if you prefer something a little more secluded. Many Caribbean resorts offer information on local tours and schedules so that you can plan your own adventure in the local outback!

Absorb the Local Culture and Rest at Caribbean Resorts

When you feel like simply exploring the local villages around Jamaica resorts, you can stroll along the shops and search for gifts and souvenirs to take back home with you. Try to find a local restaurant to partake in traditional cuisine for a special treat too.

Many items the locals are selling around Jamaica villas are actually handmade by island natives, so it’s not like anything you can find back at home. Don’t forget to reserve your space at Caribbean resorts to explore as much of this beautiful island as you possibly can during your stay!
