  • Hermoso departamento!!

"El departamento está muy bien puesto, con detalles adorables y cuidado con amor. Vimos películas, cocinamos, hicimos snorkel, era como estar en casa con un paisaje mucho más lindo, por supuesto! Me pareció un poco lejano del centro. Pero si lo que buscan es descansar y disfrutar de la pileta es ideal!"

  • Girls Getaway for Jazz Festival 2015

"I booked this villa based on the great reviews, location and price. From the initial inquiry up until the day of arrival, Karen was very helpful and responsive to the many questions that my friends and I had. She was able to provide us with a great connection for a driver that was able to take us to and from the jazz festival every day and even did some day excursions. We had a great time from the time we arrived, the place is just as in the pics. Jennifer and Anne the maids were very nice and kept the place clean and tidy. I would highly recommend the villa because I will surely be back."

  • A Real Jamaican Experience

"Wow! Where do I begin, right from the airport we were greeted by the driver Johnny, energetic, warm welcome after a very long day of travelling that was appreciated. Thanks Johnny. Upon our arrival at the villa we were greeted with another very warm welcome Miss Iris. Really this lady is amazing!! Just let her do the cooking.(but you can also do your own grilling if you want) We so enjoyed our morning coffees and conversations with Miss Iris, we learned so much about Jamaica we never would have heard of staying at a hotel. I highly recommend going to the market at least once, a wonderful cultural experience, and with Miss Iris guiding the way it was awesome. Curtis the gardener can name every plant in his garden that impressed me, he always had a smile on his face, and conversation. This quiet little street is filled with friendly people, by day 2 we knew our neighbours (the ones who work there) on both sides of the street. Once you get past the hawkers on the beach the people here really want you to have a good time and enjoy the island. We left with very fond memories and new found friendships. We toured some, not near enough so we will have to come back and pick up where we left off. We toured the Rose Hall that was great, if you want dinner out there's a great little restaurant in Whitter Village Centre, can get good food and a beer it's called the Coffee Crème Café, it's small but the Jamaican owners are friendly had a good time there . The Martha Brae River ride is a must do, the scenery is breathtaking!! Don't forget your camera. The Jamaican bobsled in Ocho Rios is totally fun.The only thing I would recommend PLEASE get some new cushions for all of the outdoor furniture. The seating in the TV area could be a more comfortable sofa, and a back scratcher would be really handy. The beds are really comfy!! My tip for people pack insect repellent with a higher deet content, and some relief medication for bites. Not that I had a problem with insect bites, but my husband did."

"I simply can't say enough about Rendezvous Villa. We just completed our 4th stay at Rendezvous, and have already booked our 5th. The villa is perfect for families, and anyone who wants to truly experience Jamaica. We laugh at people who go to the 'all inclusive' resorts and think they have seen Jamaica. Rendezvous is a much better and cheaper way to experience the island. The resorts would love people to believe that staying with them is the best way to visit Jamaica. THEY ARE WRONG! The staff at Rendezvous are truly wonderful people. If you go, I encourage you to get to know them, talk to them, learn about them. Tiny's food is equally fantastic and authentic. Betsy makes sure that the living space is comfortable. Lawford keeps the grounds beautiful (plus he makes some great bbq ribs, bbq chicken, and some killer rum punch). These people are a big part of the reason we keep coming back, and we look forward to seeing our 'Jamaican family' every year. I also encourage anyone who goes to Rendezvous to hire Andrew as their driver. It's well worth having someone to take you around, share information about local attractions, history, towns, etc. Also, for families with children, hire Paula as a babysitter. It will seem weird at first (as it did our first year), but you'll see how amazing she is with the kids, and it will be worth it ($250 for the week! No better deal for babysitting). The kids love her, and she even calls them on their birthdays now. The villa itself is absolutely beautiful. The owner (Doug) just completed some renovations, and the place is truly deluxe. It is very family friendly. Toys/games/movies for kids. Plus, the pool area is fantastic, and separated by a staircase and a locked door, so young children can't accidentally make their way to the pool area without adult supervision. This year, we arrived a day early, and we reluctantly had to get a different villa in Montego Bay for a night before heading to Rendezvous. It was then that we realized just how special Rendezvous is. While the MB villa was very nice, it didn't even compare to Rendezvous. We agreed that had our MB villa been our first villa experience in Jamaica, we likely wouldn't be coming back every year, even thought it was a nice place. Finally, Doug (the owner) is very responsive and easy to work with. He gave us a lot of ideas and thoughts before our first trip there 4 years ago. I encourage anyone traveling to Jamaica to stay at Rendezvous Villa."
