  • Perfect location in paradise!

"Stayed here for 4 nights with my husband and best friend! It was exactly what we were hoping for and more! Clean, comfortable condo! Nicely decorated. Plenty of room! Enjoyed the privacy and beautiful surroundings. Very friendly groundskeeper Avon, who gave us some great tips. Will definitely return!"

  • Fabulous Experience

"There isn't much more we can write about this house and its wonderful staff that we have not already written. I mean this literally given that this was our *third* year staying here. The owners, who are warm and lovely people, make sure to keep the property fresh and vibrant. Each year there is a new amenity (like the sail boat or the ladder at the end of the dock) or something that has been done to make the property "like new"" (such as the fresh sand and cleared water's edge). The website photos are accurate. The staff remains incredibly accommodating, friendly, and trustworthy. The process for meal selection and payment is as easy as can be; I think one reviewer may have complained about this, but for the life of me, I can't fathom how so. The staff could not be more welcoming and easy going, and paying for groceries (other than fresh fish) could be paid for with a credit card. How much easier can that be? The area is very safe. We let our children walk to and from the courts for their lessons with Franco (a terrific instructor and a good man, Franco volunteers at an orphanage. We went with him one afternoon to volunteer. It is an experience I highly recommend. To note, they need shoes! Few children (tweens and teens) had any, but I digress.). Our children made friends with the other children in the small neighborhood. We made friends with some of the neighbors - they are all warm and inviting. (Note: I am sure they are lovely, but we saw, but never met, the night owls who live next door. While yes, they are multi-generational and yes, gasp!, they do have a baby who has the audacity to cry (I mean, *come on* to the reviewer who complained about this. Of course babies cry sometimes. It is what it is.). They had little impact on our delightful stay.) Ray remains an engaging driver. He has terrific stories! You don't need a car if you have Ray (and quite frankly, I would not want to drive myself). Truly, we can't say enough wonderful things about Afimi or its amazing staff."

  • Our Destination Wedding Villa

"We are thrilled we chose the Llantrisant location to host our memorable wedding with our loved ones and cannot recommend this place enough to anyone we know considering vacationing in Jamaica and/or hosting a destination wedding or event for themselves, as this truly was that way to go. Both my husband and I work within the hospitality industry of hotels and restaurants and from our experience, creating a personal event unique to our personalities and taste is exactly what we were able to achieve at Llantrisant, rather than the generic, typical resort wedding styles we saw all over the internet for most people that choose their destination wedding in Jamaica. Llantrissant's rustic and well maintained historic estate was a romantic and practical location we spent 1 week at with 10 of our closest friends in addition to being the location our wedding was hosted at. Being that the grounds have 2 private beaches, manicured landscaping, a large grass/sand backyard and 24 our security of the enclosed property, this was a stellar location to hold our intimate 30 guest wedding outside with the ocean as our background. The staff prepared local food and was helpful in recommending vendors for all of our providers for lighting, music, flowers, etc. If you are looking for a memorable, rustic and "non-cookie cutter" Jamaican experience, choose Llantrisant and not another Sandals resort. Support a small business that will provide a much more authentic experience while visiting Jamaica."

  • A perfect winter get-away

"This was our first trip to Jamaica and it was wonderful. We have two small children and wanted help with the cooking and cleaning but we aren't the all-inclusive resort types. This was perfect for us. The staff were wonderful. Kind and genuine people who taught us about Jamaican foods, plants and customs. It was amazing to have such wonderful meals without lifting a finger. Miss Jen and Miss Medittta are excellent cooks. Raniel, Danville and Aman were generous guides and took great care of us on the crazy roads and shared local stories and politics with us. We had delightful trips up the Black River, to the Pelican Bar and to YS falls. The pool is just outside and it is a short walk down to the beach. The views from the villa are panoramic. You have a view of the sea anywhere you sit. I just moved from lounge chair to lounge chair. This was he most relaxing vacation I have ever had. Treasure Beach is a bit of a trek from the airport but well worth it. If you are looking for a vacation off the beaten path this is the place."
