"I found apartment to be exactly as advertised. Nice furnishings, well maintained, and extremely comfortable. For a woman traveling alone I never felt a bit of discomfort in the apartment or on the grounds. Karen was always just a phone call away if I had any questions or concerns. Patty the house keeper keeps the place spotless and in good order. Bath towels and beach towels are plentiful and fluffy. Unlike others I like a firm bed and this one fit the bill. The only two suggestions are perhaps shades for the windows and door, plus replacing the stoppers in the bathroom and kitchen sinks. Other than that a perfect and relaxing stay. Thank you for allowing me to stay in #64."Guest: Jean B. Date of Stay: November 2013 Review Submitted: December 9, 2013View listing
"We were two families sharing the villa. 4 adults and 5 children. The location is great and being that it's a villa u get the resort staff but privacy of a home with a huge private pool. Beach access is a snap even though you are crossing a major road. Drivers actually stopped several times to let us cross. Only reason I didn't give it a 5 is because it really should have an outdoor bbq grill. I am already trying to figure out how to get back to this villa. Negril is awesome and this villa is right near all the action. Loved all the spots on the beach. Very friendly staff"Guest: Norah Date of Stay: April 2014 Review Submitted: April 27, 2014View listing
"Seagrape is an ideal location to relax. The sound of the ocean, the sea breeze and the frogs provide for great nighttime entertainment. There is a ladder to the ocean, with a great snorkel area. We saw a number of fish, including one lionfish, near Seagrape's ladder entrance to the ocean. There is a (mostly) private tanning area right outside the front door. The coffee service to your veranda is a great way to start the day. Juicy, Bentley and Christine are very helpful and made the stay that much better. We rented a car but there always seemed to be a number of taxis driving in the area. There is a market across the street and another up the road from which we purchased essentials. We also purchased from a fruit stall close by. We found it beneficial to rent a car to explore as well as go to the larger markets. I am writing this from Seagrape, listening to the ocean and frogs, wishing I did not have to leave."Guest: Eugene Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: September 10, 2014View listing
"We are thrilled we chose the Llantrisant location to host our memorable wedding with our loved ones and cannot recommend this place enough to anyone we know considering vacationing in Jamaica and/or hosting a destination wedding or event for themselves, as this truly was that way to go. Both my husband and I work within the hospitality industry of hotels and restaurants and from our experience, creating a personal event unique to our personalities and taste is exactly what we were able to achieve at Llantrisant, rather than the generic, typical resort wedding styles we saw all over the internet for most people that choose their destination wedding in Jamaica. Llantrissant's rustic and well maintained historic estate was a romantic and practical location we spent 1 week at with 10 of our closest friends in addition to being the location our wedding was hosted at. Being that the grounds have 2 private beaches, manicured landscaping, a large grass/sand backyard and 24 our security of the enclosed property, this was a stellar location to hold our intimate 30 guest wedding outside with the ocean as our background. The staff prepared local food and was helpful in recommending vendors for all of our providers for lighting, music, flowers, etc. If you are looking for a memorable, rustic and "non-cookie cutter" Jamaican experience, choose Llantrisant and not another Sandals resort. Support a small business that will provide a much more authentic experience while visiting Jamaica."Guest: Rachel Y. Date of Stay: April 2014 Review Submitted: July 17, 2014View listing
Negril Travel Tips
Have a Wonderful Vacation in Negril Beach Rentals
Spanning across two different parishes (Westmoreland and Hanover), Negril is a large, beautiful beach resort town in Jamaica. There is so much choice when it comes to Negril beach rentals, ranging from all-inclusive hotels and resorts to private Negril villas. How you want to spend your vacation will determine what kind of accommodations are right for you and your family.
Perfect Waters Surround Negril Villas
Jamaica travel is all about experiencing the island and the beaches. The crystal clear turquoise water with a white sandy bottom is really something to behold; it's incomparable to anywhere else in the world. Negril beach rentals allow you quick and direct access to some of the best Caribbean snorkeling and diving. In fact, the high cliffs surrounding the waters of Negril villas allow for some pretty exciting jumps as well! Some points reach more than 40 feet! If you are not as excited as others to jump, you might just want to sit back, relax, and enjoy the wonderful views as the sun sets.
Do Not Forget the Rum on Jamaica Travel
If you know anything about Jamaica travel, you know that rum is a big part of it! Renting a car and taking the drive from your Negril villas to the Appleton Estate is a truly wonderful experience. Appleton Estate is located along the southern coast and a great introduction to how a distillery is run. Visitors get the chance to tour the grounds and see the rum-making process. To top it off, you can even buy some rum!
The Lesser Known Waterfalls near Negril Beach Rentals
Staying in Negril beach rentals means that you absolutely must head inland to see some of the most spectacular waterfalls known to man. Of course, there is Dunn’s River Falls, which is always beautiful but usually crowded. Located quite near many Negril villas, you will find YS Falls which feed off Black River. These falls are essential to visit during your Jamaica travel and you'll find them much less crowded.
