  • Wonderful Stay

"Booked this condo based on all the positive reviews & we were not disappointed. Worth repeating, the photos are totally accurate, the space was more than enough for our family of 5 (all adults) with everyone having their own bedroom & private bathroom. Beautiful grounds, with 2 pools, a gazebo, grill & picnic bench for eating. We grilled out twice, and thoroughly enjoyed the views. Karen provided all upfront information we asked for = no bit of information was missing. We did rent a car & drove to Negril for the day, which is a must for 1st time visitors. We ate at the Yacht Club, a 2 minute walk away, excellent food & reasonably priced. The Boathouse Grill, located down the road, requires reservation & ask to be seated top deck - stunning view of Montego Bay. We all loved our stay & definitely will return to the warmth of Jamaica."

  • We love Villa Seagull!

"Me and my husband, Michael have gone for many many years and always stay at Villa Seagull. There is a reason for that. Not only is the Villa close to the beach but we always feel like we are coming home. The house is wonderful and inviting and the food that the staff cooks for you, is amazing!! Home cooked Jamaican style! Trudie the owner is a wonderful host, and very special person! It is truly a very special and magical place to go if you want the real vibe of Jamaica!! • Wonderfully relaxing, practically perfect in every way

"If you are looking for a quiet Jamaican get away in a superior natural setting with pampered but unobtrusive service, Coconut Cottage should be on your list. The owners will help you get car service from Montego Bay airport, and we recommend getting a driver for your whole stay. A few miles outside of MB, you'll find an unmarked driveway that leads past some fields with a few pigs, goats, chickens, etc, and comes to a secure, gated additional driveway that houses the Cottage. We took an extended family group of 11 and had a truly wonderful experience. A staff of 5 provides excellent food -- we asked for and got "food like the locals" -- including goat curry, several kinds of fish, jerk chicken, and truly fresh fruit (mangos are much better than in the US). The staff is very friendly, and happy to chat and be available while also demonstrating a good sense of when guests desire space and quiet. We spent part of our week simply enjoying the property, and also going across the road to Round Hill (great snorkeling and a fun Friday night show), and another part of our week touring the Island, with the same driver using a large van. The staff was also able to arrange a bicycle for me, so I could work off a few of the great calories. There is great walking up the hill and also mountain biking type terrain. There is a stunning ocean view from the living room and pool area, and the house includes up to date audiovisual and an ample variety of fun board games. The property lent itself to our family having individual times to ourselves as well as group events. There is plenty of both indoor and outdoor space to enjoy. This ends up being much more economical and relaxing than simply staying at Round Hill or another place with lots of other folks. If you want to people watch, just go across the street or into town! The property was always clean, the descriptions provided by the owners are accurate, and we definitely recommend this place and will be back."

  • Engraved in my memories forever

"Armed with my fancy Nikon and two friends I came to celebrate my 40th birthday. What I didn't know is I would spend my evenings starring...awed by the sunset that my 64gb memory came back home barely used. My friends and I had never vacationed together. Seagrape delivered the ultimate comfort that we all were at ease. Well mannered and efficient staff. Clean accomodation. Well manicured gardens privacy from other villas. The private cliff access to the sea made you feel like you were in a millionaire beach mansion in Malindi. We were graced by Dolphins about 100 feet from our cliff. There were maps and directions to remove any rum induced fog. Walking distance to the Rick's cafe and short drive to the 7mile beach...if you find it in you to leave the residence. There were a few rainy days.....all 15 mins of it were welcome to calm down the heat for the evening. Juicy was timely with his meals as requested and cook he can. Thank you for the fresh flower arrangements in each room.....something about the bougainvallea. Only regret is that we did not stay longer. A definate must do again vacation and am bringing my family along this time."
