"So many tourists isolate themselves in gated all-inclusive resorts and miss the real Jamaica! If you want to see it, this is it! Although the trek is not easy from the Kingston airport at night, what an adventure! After transversing the Blue Mountains and traveling up the coast, you'll arrive in San San. You'll drive up a hill and may wonder if it is the right road. It is. George has taken care of the property for many years, as has Dorothy. You'll be greeted warmly and a dinner will be ready for you. We were famished and felt so welcome. It took awhile to get our barrings, as we haven't traveled out of the country often, but once we did, we loved it! Reach Falls, a longer drive, is fantastic. Whoever thought you can hang out in a cave with a river flowing through? Slide into your cavern on a real water slide! Eat some Jerk Chicken in Boston Bay on the way to Long Beach. Check out Blue Pool. Check out Frenchman's Cove. Dunn Falls was neat, although popular. Swim in the ocean that glows in the dark in Montego Bay. Dorthy is an excellent cook and will prepare authentic Jamaica dishes if you wish or set up a delivery of a TON of lobsters. Ask for Lobster Bisque or just eat it plain! As for Akee instead of eggs or that delicious Blue Mountain Coffee. Or eat what you're used to. She'll make that too. This area is where Jamaicans go to vacation. That should tell you something. We brought two teenagers and what an experience! 4 years later, it's still one of the most memorable vacations I've had. Open-mindedness is a necessity if you haven't traveled abroad much. The beds are a bit hard, but as you travel through the countryside, you'll notice that this IS Jamaica. It's a great base camp to see the best of Jamaica. George and Dorthy will take excellent care of you. You can wake up in the AM to a delicious breakfast and coffee, go out on an all-day adventure, and come back to a wonderful dinner! It's a world away, and we can't wait to go back. The view truly is spectacular. I can't imagine where in Jamaica you'd have a better view. If you feel like snorkeling over to that island you're looking at, go for it! Very cool."Guest: maylukay Date of Stay: February 2013 Review Submitted: February 9, 2014View listing
"This will be very difficult to find just the right words to express our 3 week stay..I will therefore make it simple..It is and was- PERFECT..in every way..Upon arrival we were greeted by the condo manager Ms Raquel...To go along with her million dollar smile- she swung open the door of the condo and indeed , we were greeted with a million dollar view- the condo amenities were as advertised and spot on first class...everything worked perfectly that mattered. note- some MINOR condo repairs are needed (ie upstairs shower door is damaged and the toilet runs on once flushed)..but outside of that- the condo had awsome Wifi , flat screen tv in living room and upstairs master bedroom, cable tv, cd player, dvd (we could not get that to work) ect-ect.... The property grounds itself is going thru a renovation, as it is true the current appearance is bit dated..Nothing but fresh paint outside is needed..Our condo support staff member- Ms Winsom is a beautiful attentive person -professional, always ready to help and guide us in the right direction...Ocho Rios is a wonderful town-- we rented a car to go to different towns but if you dont..you can walk to some great places to eat..I would recommend Ms T's Ktichen--the authentic Jamaica, Shaw Park Gardens- wonderful waterfalls, Duns River, green market by the clock tower...would we go back???? YES-YES-YES Helena"Guest: mrs b Date of Stay: February 2014 Review Submitted: February 28, 2014View listing

"We were very happy that we rented this condo Susannah! We had Mavis cook 2 times for us and they were by far the best meals of the trip! Red Snapper one night and the guys wanted pork the next night. My friend is a vegetarian and Mavis made sure she had plenty to choose from also! We had rented a car so and had traveled alot so we didn't want to venture off but I am sure that Mr Nelson would have been wonderful to have! He was fun just chatting with and Mavis sure keeps him in line. They are truly remarkable people and great to talk with! The condo was very comfortable and has everything you need. The view? just suffice it to say, AWESOME! Thank you for being so accommodating and could you please move here Mavis? LOL!"Guest: Stacey Z. Jamaica Travel Tips
Jamaica Resorts Offer Easy Access to Breathtaking Views, Local Art and Relaxing Waters
Jamaica is a popular Caribbean destination that may be reached via air or cruise. There are plenty of sights to see and local traditions to absorb during your stay regardless of how you get there. Jamaica resorts offer access to scenic waterfalls, caves, rainforests and tropical wildlife, as well as local artwork, shops and dining opportunities.
Reserve Jamaica Resorts and Relax in the Sun
Staying in Jamaica villas means you’ll have the best of both worlds. You’ll be able to explore local natural wonders, then retire to one of the many Caribbean resorts for a restful night’s sleep. Enjoy your own private getaway on the beach, and nap in the sun as often as you like.
Rent Jamaica Villas near Local Attractions
Visitors love to tour limestone caves, waterfalls and even mineral springs near Jamaica resorts. Many of the springs are purported to have healing properties, and can be found on a simple hike through the local national forests and parks. Some Jamaica villas may also be available further inland near these natural phenomena if you prefer something a little more secluded. Many Caribbean resorts offer information on local tours and schedules so that you can plan your own adventure in the local outback!
Absorb the Local Culture and Rest at Caribbean Resorts
When you feel like simply exploring the local villages around Jamaica resorts, you can stroll along the shops and search for gifts and souvenirs to take back home with you. Try to find a local restaurant to partake in traditional cuisine for a special treat too.
Many items the locals are selling around Jamaica villas are actually handmade by island natives, so it’s not like anything you can find back at home. Don’t forget to reserve your space at Caribbean resorts to explore as much of this beautiful island as you possibly can during your stay!
