  • Excellent Stay

"The process to book the place was easy and Errol was very patient with me as I had several questions and requests. The place is beautiful and looks exactly how it’s pictured. The check in and check out was very easy and we never felt unsafe. The location as ideal and very accessible to anything needed. Errol even check on us once we left to ensure we were fine:-). I will definitely use this condo again."

  • The title says it all... and then some !

"Where to begin.I stayed at this wonderful condo for 11 glorious days.First off, my hosts, are sweet, beautiful people who live next door. They left me alone, but were there for conversation and guidance if desired. The condo was clean, well equipped, and had an air conditioner in the bedroom which I used every night. You open the ocean side doors, and you have a fantastic proximity and view of the Caribbean from the unit and balcony.I got the grocery recommendation from Gloria, stocked up and I was good to go.The store had every thing I needed.Being a first timer to Jamaica, I was leery of the security aspect of my stay.I can tell you, once I got to the condo complex it all vanished. There is a gate to drive through, as I rented a car, with a guard 24/7 that issues a parking pass so they know every vehicle. There are uniformed security patrolling the grounds, also 24/7.I got to know them, and they me, and we had many a conversation.Very comfortable.Mahogany beach is right next door for swimming and relaxing. They have a bar/BBQ and music almost daily, with chairs available from security. There is a catamaran cruise company located there for sunset cruises, etc.For venturing out during the day, I walked the main street of Ocho Rios quite often.I had access to the Cruise ship terminal to greet friends, Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville, sports bars, grocery shopping, and banking. When I had enough of the outside world, I came back to my little slice of Heaven.Peaceful, comfortable, and secure. As you can tell, I loved this vacation retreat.Everything associated with it was wonderful, and my dealings with the owners were smooth and easy.If you are looking for the resort experience, look elsewhere. If you are looking for peace, relaxation, ocean views and sounds, and close proximity to town, you have found your vacation spot."

  • Family Vacation

"Phil&Malty: We all had a really great time in Jamaica and we are glad we chose your rental housing accommodations. Thanks for providing a cost effective and good alternative to the all inclusive resorts, which we find boring and repetitious. Your place felt safe, had the right space-set-up for our family, and was beautiful. Everything was clean and as you described in your VRBO ad. We appreciated your information, guidance and fun stories each morning, as it helped make this one of our best family vacations. You are right about crazy driving habits and your advice to use hustling cab drivers over renting a car was right on. If we rented a car we would not have had as much fun and we would have never found the places we wanted to go. Putting us in touch with the local cabby down the road was a good move. We went to the beach daily, and to Rick's Cafe, the Royal Palms Nature Preserve, Nagril Yoga, Burbon Beach Regge Concert, night fishing with Winter Fresh, Boat trip to the Island, Mayfield Falls, The Lighthouse and WoopiES while visiting. We also ate at Cosmos, Sweet Spice and Ricks. The best stops were Mayfield Falls, Ricks, Cosmos, and WoopiES, and we would avoid the nature preserve and the boat trip to the island as both were very dissapointing. We really enjoyed ourselves and were very pleased with you, Malty, and the yardman Letman. This was a great way to experience all Jamaica has to offer. If we go to Jamaica again, and you have availability in your rentals, we would gladly return. I'd easily recommend this place to family and friends. Thanks foe everything! Eric and Family"

  • The week that I look forward to the most each year.

"This was the second week that I have spent at Villa Mara. It was like coming home! We were met at the front door with welcomes and hugs. Last year I thought that the stay was amazing - this year - it was even better. I don't know how the staff did it but they remembered little details about our likes and were right on top of everything. The beautiful house has the atmosphere of real Jamaica and I must say that I got the back to boarding school feeling when we had to leave. My husband, daughter, son-in-law and two grand daughters accompanied me on this trip. Every one had a blast and felt most pampered. My grand daughters both cried when they left. Many very, very happy memories have been made at Villa Mara. For that week we were made to feel that it was our home."

Jamaica Travel Tips

Jamaica Resorts Offer Easy Access to Breathtaking Views, Local Art and Relaxing Waters

Jamaica is a popular Caribbean destination that may be reached via air or cruise. There are plenty of sights to see and local traditions to absorb during your stay regardless of how you get there. Jamaica resorts offer access to scenic waterfalls, caves, rainforests and tropical wildlife, as well as local artwork, shops and dining opportunities.

Reserve Jamaica Resorts and Relax in the Sun

Staying in Jamaica villas means you’ll have the best of both worlds. You’ll be able to explore local natural wonders, then retire to one of the many Caribbean resorts for a restful night’s sleep. Enjoy your own private getaway on the beach, and nap in the sun as often as you like.

Rent Jamaica Villas near Local Attractions

Visitors love to tour limestone caves, waterfalls and even mineral springs near Jamaica resorts. Many of the springs are purported to have healing properties, and can be found on a simple hike through the local national forests and parks. Some Jamaica villas may also be available further inland near these natural phenomena if you prefer something a little more secluded. Many Caribbean resorts offer information on local tours and schedules so that you can plan your own adventure in the local outback!

Absorb the Local Culture and Rest at Caribbean Resorts

When you feel like simply exploring the local villages around Jamaica resorts, you can stroll along the shops and search for gifts and souvenirs to take back home with you. Try to find a local restaurant to partake in traditional cuisine for a special treat too.

Many items the locals are selling around Jamaica villas are actually handmade by island natives, so it’s not like anything you can find back at home. Don’t forget to reserve your space at Caribbean resorts to explore as much of this beautiful island as you possibly can during your stay!
