  • Great Place, Great Service

"There was a group of 12 of us coming from different places and everyone had a great time at the house. First, I think the place itself was probably a little nicer than the pics - very spacious, lots of bedrooms for different couples/families, etc.. So it worked out well for multiple families. I think location is nice as well since its on the southside which is generally quieter. What made the trip very enjoyable for us was Eddie & Ralph. They were with us whenever we needed them and helped us plan out our activities and was patient with the different opinions from the varying group members. Eddie and George were able to do a personalized snorkel/dive trip that accommodated all of the swim levels which was nice. Eddie also helped us immensely with all the basics (golf carts, groceries, etc..). We had one of the A/Cs go out in one of the rooms and Ralph spent 1/2 a day with an electrician making sure it was working for us the next night. Very awesome! Eddie - thanks again for all the help; we really enjoyed our trip. Probably the only downside was that there was no beachfront to walk on or place to swim in the ocean (very dirty/seaweed heavy, etc..). I think most places on the island are like that, but it would have been nice to be able to swim. Definitely highly recommend the place for larger groups and"

"We (a cold Alaskan couple and a chilled Minnesota couple) had a great stay in the upstairs apartment at Casa Caracol! Phil came through with all the things he advertised. He had kayaks for us to use and we had a blast kayaking. My brother and I used them to go out to the reef. It was fun and we found muscles we hadn't used in a while (although, I think I pulled a fat instead of a muscle). Phil also set us up with a day of fishing, a wonderful boat trip to the Mayan Ruins, and a great half day of snorkeling at Hol Chan and Shark and Ray Alley. The rental is walking distance to a well stocked grocery, fresh produce stands, a wonder full bakery, and all the local shopping you want. The upstairs was perfect for the four of us. Two bedroom each with their own bathrooms with showers. A beautiful well stocked kitchen which we used a ton. The deck has a great view of the reef and is a great place to relax no matter what part of the day it is. He has a housekeeper come in every couple days and she does an amazing job!!! It was so nice having a week to not worry about anything and just relax. We had a wonderful time and Phil took all the details out of it for us. At the end of our stay, we had one credit card bill to him which included all the day excursions he booked for us and he didn't add on penny for his time and effort to set them up. He is a great guy and was wonderful to work with. We recommend him and Casa Caracol highly."

  • Wonderful

"Our stay was wonderful. It was our second trip to the Caymans the last one being 20+ years ago. This time is was just my wife and myself. The island is defineitly more populated but the people were still as nice with many things similar to what we remembered. Our accomodations were excellent. The condo was great with a location within walking distance to Georgetown, grocery stores, restaurants, etc. We didn't rent a car on this trip and did't need one. The condo complex had all the things we needed and the loaction along Seven Mile beach was perfect for us. We like the idea of a condo complex instead of a resort type hotel and Regal Beach was perfect. We travel to Sanibel Florida a lot but the beach here was much cleaner. The Marriott next door provided a wonderful opportunity to snorkel for those not very experineced in it. All in all it was a great location and overall trip."

"The photos you see are just like the house truly is!! This property is amazing!!! It is the closest property to the Ocean on all of Grace Bay after walking from one end to the other. The sand here is the best we have ever walked on and the beaches are incredible. The view from almost every room upstairs is spectacular. The kitchen has every item and then some that you could even imagine. We cooked a lot of food inside and out because there is no reason to leave this place. We have rented several homes and been very disappointed because the picture shows one thing and then you get there and the pictures were from 10 years ago and the house is run down. From the owner (Katalin) to James and Romeo we have never had a better experience. Romeo made our beds every day and changed out our sheets midweek. We always had plenty of clean beach towels, bath towels and wash clothes. He would refill all of out paper towel and toilet paper as well. Romeo even ran to the store for us a couple times which saved us from leaving this place (yes we did tip him very well because he was that good of a care taker). There is also plenty of spices to use which was also fantastic. If you stay here you will go back!!! And the color of the water that you see in the pictures are true as well.Enjoy"
