  • Honeymoon Getaway

"My wife and I recently got married in Montego Bay where we stayed for 4 days leading up to the wedding. After the wedding we spent our honeymoon at the Buccaneer villa for 7 nights. We loved the Buccaneer Villa and Treasure Beach for many reasons! We found that Treasure Beach had more sun than the Montego Bay side and the ocean was calmer which led to many afternoons spent on the beach. The private swimming pool was also a nice option that we tended to use every morning. Nikki, our cook, cooked amazing meals both in the morning and evening! We ate better in one week than we have in our entire life! The one day that Nikki did not cook for us, we walked through town about a mile and a half to a restaurant called Smurfs for breakfast. Everybody that we passed was friendly, smiled and would say hi. We never once felt unsafe during our stay in Treasure Beach. Our last night at the Buccaneer Villa, Bama, the grounds keeper, built us a bon fire on the beach which was a perfect ending to our stay. The thing that we enjoyed most about staying at the Buccaneer Villa was the relaxation. We felt completely separated from the rest of the world and were able to enjoy each other's company without and distraction. It was by far the most relaxing vacation that we have ever had and we already plan on going back with friends and family! Thank you Mary, Nikki, and Bama for a honeymoon that we will never forget!"

  • Fantastic

"We ( husband and self) really enjoyed our stay .It was so beautiful, relaxing, comfortable, well cared for and welcoming! It was the perfect balance of meeting new people and yet feeling you were on your own. Convenient with a store , a few restaurants across the road, and Ocho Rios ,a short cab ride away. Never, once did we feel uncomfortable or unsafe anywhere we travelled in Jamaica. They are warm, welcoming and friendly ambassadors, always eager to help. Great attractions to visit, or just relax and rejuvinate at the condo.Would highly recommend !!!!!"

  • A Real Jamaican Experience

"Wow! Where do I begin, right from the airport we were greeted by the driver Johnny, energetic, warm welcome after a very long day of travelling that was appreciated. Thanks Johnny. Upon our arrival at the villa we were greeted with another very warm welcome Miss Iris. Really this lady is amazing!! Just let her do the cooking.(but you can also do your own grilling if you want) We so enjoyed our morning coffees and conversations with Miss Iris, we learned so much about Jamaica we never would have heard of staying at a hotel. I highly recommend going to the market at least once, a wonderful cultural experience, and with Miss Iris guiding the way it was awesome. Curtis the gardener can name every plant in his garden that impressed me, he always had a smile on his face, and conversation. This quiet little street is filled with friendly people, by day 2 we knew our neighbours (the ones who work there) on both sides of the street. Once you get past the hawkers on the beach the people here really want you to have a good time and enjoy the island. We left with very fond memories and new found friendships. We toured some, not near enough so we will have to come back and pick up where we left off. We toured the Rose Hall that was great, if you want dinner out there's a great little restaurant in Whitter Village Centre, can get good food and a beer it's called the Coffee Crème Café, it's small but the Jamaican owners are friendly had a good time there . The Martha Brae River ride is a must do, the scenery is breathtaking!! Don't forget your camera. The Jamaican bobsled in Ocho Rios is totally fun.The only thing I would recommend PLEASE get some new cushions for all of the outdoor furniture. The seating in the TV area could be a more comfortable sofa, and a back scratcher would be really handy. The beds are really comfy!! My tip for people pack insect repellent with a higher deet content, and some relief medication for bites. Not that I had a problem with insect bites, but my husband did."

  • Awesome vacation experience

"My family just returned from the most awesome vacation ever! Where do I begin? From the moment we got through customs and found our driver Johnny Blaze waiting for us, our stay just got better and better. He's a really cool guy. When we arrived at One Rhythm, the perfect vacation villa, we were met by Ms Annette, who made sure we had everything we needed and that our stay was all we wanted it to be. She walked us a few steps to the beach, and we took in the beauty of the Caribbean. She also introduced us to all the vendors and crafts people who work and sell by the beach. Ms Annette is a warm, friendly, kind woman who must be the best cook in Jamaica! Stew chicken, jerk chicken, fish, patties, fritters, vegetables, fruit, and more – each dish better than the next. So good! In fact, one night when we planned to go into Montego Bay for dinner, my granddaughter said she only wanted to eat Ms Annette’s cooking. Johnny knew so much about the people, the culture, the history, the music, and the land, and he shared all that with us. One of the highlights (and there are so many) was our beautiful, winding drive up the mountain to Accompong, a village in St. Elizabeth’s Parish in the heart of Cockpit Country where enslaved Africans escaped, successfully fought the British, signed a peace treaty in 1739 that granted them autonomy and created a nation within a nation, and built a community where they and their descendants freely practiced their African traditions. These traditions continue to be practiced today. Once there, we sat under the 200+ year old Kindah tree where Cudjoe, the leader, united the runaway Africans (called Maroons) in their fight against the British and from where we could see the expanse and beauty of the country and mountains–a truly spiritual experience. Members of the community welcomed us and shared not only their proud history but also their present achievements. We met many local people, visited the school, met the principal, watched as the children prepared for a sporting event, saw the library that had just been built, and visited the museum. This is a trip that most tourists do not make, but I highly recommend it. I could go on and on because we had so many wonderful experiences while staying at One Rhythm, but it all comes down to Ms Annette and Johnny. We cannot thank them enough for helping us get a glimpse of the history, the culture, and the people of Jamaica and cannot wait to come back. Until then, One Love and Respect!"
