  • Wonderful experience.

"Our first time to the Virgin Islands was one to remember. This wonderful condo was a major part of that. How the owner represents their property is spot on, especially since one can't put into words just how beautiful it really is there. Marsha is excellent in all things related to renting a condo. If you are looking for simplicity, quiet, and "peaceful with a gorgeous view", then this is truly to place for you. Dining can be accomplished in several ways. We did cab rides into Red Hook as well as using the 'walkable' choices near the unit. "Off the Grid" food truck at the top of the hill was awesome, definitely recommend at least one visit there. "Banana Cabana" was great for lunch, right there on the beach, and nice selections. We"

  • the sound of the ocean still resonates...

"It's a chilly Sunday here in Maryland and I find myself wishing it was July 13th and we were just arriving in St Maarten's all over again!! We had a fantastic time during our July 2 week visit to St Maarten's and Ocean's Club Villa # 5. Waking up to the sound of the ocean waves still lingers in my memory. The Monkey Grill Cafe was a VERY pleasant surprise as the owner Sal and his assistant Marjorie made us feel so welcome and we loved Rib and Pasta Night and 2 for 1 Happy Hour. I am so sorry that it took me so long to send you this note but it just hit me today with the weather change how much we really enjoyed our vacation to Cupecoy Bay and would definitely make this a repeat trip. I don't know what was meant by "rundown condition", mentioned in another review...we saw NO evidence of that at the Villa or Ocean Club. I need a Presidente w/ Rum Jumbie shot!"

  • Bachelor Party Weekend

"We just spent a long weekend in San Juan at the 8 Atlantic Place (Ocean Park) property for a bachelor party. The location is wonderful and truly just steps away from the beach. There is a front gate, which locks as well as locks on the apartment doors. The added benefit of street clothes security outside on the street contributed further to our own sense of security. The property is about a 10-15 minute taxi from Old San Juan and the more tourist-geared parts of San Juan. Being one-step removed from that space let us relax and get away from the heavier foot traffic and bustle of tourism. Taxi rides should be on a per person system, and we rarely paid more than $3-4 per passenger. Be sure to specify “Ocean Park," as well. In terms of rooms, we slept 7 people very comfortably between the upstairs apartment and the Studio; in fact, 2-3 more people could have fit just as easily. Each bedroom comes with A/C, so nights sleeping are extremely comfortable. The kitchen is spacious and the ample dishes and cups made eating much easier. Beach and bath towels both provided. Booking and working with Adam was always professional, efficient, and clear. He was extremely friendly in person also, offering several suggestions of places to check out and making himself available via text should we have any questions. To check out, we simply followed the clearly spelled out procedure, hung our keys near the door and let him know. Very easy. Not only will I strongly recommend this property and it’s associated spaces to anyone (bachelor parties, family get away, etc.), but I will also be staying there on any future trips to San Juan—and after this first trip I’m sure that there will be several. Many thanks to Adam and all of the staff at Aqua4U for making this trip so memorable. Oh, and if you go, be sure to check out Kasalta Bakery just down the street. This little gem is not to be missed. How helpful was the AQUA4U call and on-line sales service? : Exceptional How was the AQUA4U apartment cleanliness? : Exceptional How was the overall comfort of your AQUA4U apartment? : Exceptional"

  • Relaxing Vacation

"We just returned from 2 weeks at the Cottages in Hartswell and had a wonderful, laid back holiday. The location was perfect for a quiet getaway and Valerie was extremely helpful with our stay. The beaches are magnificent, having use of kayaks was an added bonus and the locals were very friendly. You definitely need a car for getting around and if you are looking to do some bonefishing, you will have a variety of opportunities right outside your door. We frequented several eateries and Santana's was by far the best food! Right next door is Mom's bakery with wonderful breads, tasty pastries and rum cake to die for! If you are looking for a laid back vacation, we highly recommend the Cottages at Hartswell."

Mexican Caribbean Travel Tips

Finding Your Way to Mexican Caribbean Vacation Rentals

The primary airport on the Mexican Caribbean coast is in Cancun. Over the years, Cancun has become a vibrant resort vacation destination that is popular with international travelers. Cancun International Airport has regular daily flights with most major cities in the United States. There are also regular commercial flights to major European cities such as London, Paris, Frankfurt and Madrid. Many national air carriers from South America also have scheduled flights from cities such as Sao Paolo, Lima, Caracus and Bogota. Because of its good flight connections, Cancun often serves as a travel hub for European travelers visiting Central America and the Caribbean. Cancun has a state-of-the-art cruise port where many international cruise liners dock for a few days as part of their cruises. Guests disembark to enjoy the stunning beaches and excellent shopping opportunities in the region.

Best Time of Year to Travel to Mexican Caribbean Villas

Mexico's Caribbean coastline enjoys a warm tropical climate. There is little seasonal difference in the temperatures. The main seasonal difference is in the amount of rainfall that occurs and the resulting higher levels of humidity. The coastline is susceptible to tropical storms that sometimes blow through in the late summer months of August and September. This is traditionally the low tourist season. For all other times of the year, there is a consistent influx of travelers to Mexico's Caribbean coast. The peak travel season is often in December when the weather is a little more temperate and there are lower levels of humidity. The peak season often extends to April and includes the Easter vacation period.

Activities and Attractions at Mexican Caribbean Resort Rentals

Some of the main attractions on the Mexico Caribbean coastline are the many superb resorts that are concentrated there. Many of these resorts offer vacations on an all-inclusive basis where guests can enjoy a wide range of facilities and sporting activities. Water sports centers have windsurfers, sea kayaks, paddle skis, Jet Skis and boats available so guests can enjoy the warm tropical waters. Volleyball and racquetball sets are also set up on the beachfront. Tournaments and various other activities and excursions are frequently arranged by the resorts. Most of the resorts are concentrated in Cancun and on the nearby island of Cozumel.

This stretch of Mexico's coast is home to one of the world's largest barrier reefs. It extends from the top of the Yucatan Peninsula down the length of the country and then still further south to Belize and Guatemala. This reef provides excellent diving and has sites suitable for both novice and advanced divers. For those who prefer to snorkel, there are many sections of shallow reefs off the coast of Cancun and Cozumel where you can go on a snorkeling excursion. The area is also home to some of the most significant Mayan temples and ruins. Guided tours provide insight into the ancient Aztec culture and traditions. Many of the ruins are set amongst dense tropical foliage and just getting there is an adventure in itself. For travelers looking for a quieter vacation destination along the Mexican Caribbean coast, there are many smaller resorts further south along the coast
