  • Truly Amazing!

"Our family just got back from St. Thomas a few weeks ago and we are already trying to figure out how soon we can return! If you have never been to St. Thomas and are wondering where to stay, look no further this place is it! My standards are fairly high and I was very impressed! The view from the condo is unbelievable. The condo is very nice and was very clean. The location to the beach could not have been any more convenient. I truly appreciated all the items provided by the owners such as towels, kitchen utensils, pots and pans, spices, sunscreens… etc. The restaurants right on the beach are very convenient and good. We also found the neighbors to be nice and very helpful as well. We too spent a lot of time snorkeled right off the beach (even without a reef you will see fish). Grocery and shopping are very close. We could not have had a better time! Thank you Bill! We will be coming back!"

  • A little peice of paradise!

"First of all, Green Turtle Cay is one of the coolest, laid back places I have visited. If you want beautiful beaches, amazing snorkelling, great boating and casual dining this is the place for you! I just spent a week visiting a girlfriend who is staying at Sherry's Tree house and this place is fabulous! It is very accurately depicted on the vrbo site. Right on the Sea of Abaco with great sunset views but enough foliage to keep you comfortable and shaded up above. A great dock for sitting out and swimming from and a fun swim platform to swim out to. The house is very tastefully decorated and is well maintained. Sherry is very interested in making sure her guests are comfortable and have the things on hand to do so. There are floties, a cooler, some snorkel gear all available if needed. The tree house is in a good location for beach walks, swimming and The Bluff House restaurant is an easy 3 min walk and a fun place to have lunch, a sunset cocktail or dinner. You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay here. Thanks Sherry for the wonderful place!"

  • Amazing Stay, Plenty of Space, Great Views

"We had a fabulous time in your beautiful villa. We had 6 adults and 7 children with plenty of room for more. Everything worked great and we can not wait to return. I would recommend your home to anyone, they will not regret it."

  • .....just as perfect the second time around!

"After sailing around the BVI with family we decided to end our vacation again with a week at Da Blue House. We had a remarkable experience last year and it was just as perfect again. Arriving at the house felt like coming home. Soooo relaxing watching the surf from the front yard and grilling out on the patio. JC and Sam have the house equipped with everything we could possibly need and it is so comfortable. We just love the charming neighborhood of Little Carrot Bay and this house is located right in the middle. Its great to walk through the streets and talk with the neighbors...everyone is just wonderful. This year we made arrangements with Egbert at the Northshore Shell Museum to cook us dinner. We strolled down there one evening and had a night filled with endless stories from Egbert, fantastic spiced fish and music we played together with him on instruments he supplied. Great fun! We spent a few days on the very pretty beach at Smugglers Cove, just a short drive from the house. We also hiked our favorite Sage Mountain trails. The north loop is like something out of Jurassic Park, fantastic flora and fauna.....minus the dinosaurs. Our very favorite part of the week is just hanging out in the yard with a couple of rum drinks, playing cards or just watching the waves. Thanks Sam and JC for providing us with a great experience again!"

Mexican Caribbean Travel Tips

Finding Your Way to Mexican Caribbean Vacation Rentals

The primary airport on the Mexican Caribbean coast is in Cancun. Over the years, Cancun has become a vibrant resort vacation destination that is popular with international travelers. Cancun International Airport has regular daily flights with most major cities in the United States. There are also regular commercial flights to major European cities such as London, Paris, Frankfurt and Madrid. Many national air carriers from South America also have scheduled flights from cities such as Sao Paolo, Lima, Caracus and Bogota. Because of its good flight connections, Cancun often serves as a travel hub for European travelers visiting Central America and the Caribbean. Cancun has a state-of-the-art cruise port where many international cruise liners dock for a few days as part of their cruises. Guests disembark to enjoy the stunning beaches and excellent shopping opportunities in the region.

Best Time of Year to Travel to Mexican Caribbean Villas

Mexico's Caribbean coastline enjoys a warm tropical climate. There is little seasonal difference in the temperatures. The main seasonal difference is in the amount of rainfall that occurs and the resulting higher levels of humidity. The coastline is susceptible to tropical storms that sometimes blow through in the late summer months of August and September. This is traditionally the low tourist season. For all other times of the year, there is a consistent influx of travelers to Mexico's Caribbean coast. The peak travel season is often in December when the weather is a little more temperate and there are lower levels of humidity. The peak season often extends to April and includes the Easter vacation period.

Activities and Attractions at Mexican Caribbean Resort Rentals

Some of the main attractions on the Mexico Caribbean coastline are the many superb resorts that are concentrated there. Many of these resorts offer vacations on an all-inclusive basis where guests can enjoy a wide range of facilities and sporting activities. Water sports centers have windsurfers, sea kayaks, paddle skis, Jet Skis and boats available so guests can enjoy the warm tropical waters. Volleyball and racquetball sets are also set up on the beachfront. Tournaments and various other activities and excursions are frequently arranged by the resorts. Most of the resorts are concentrated in Cancun and on the nearby island of Cozumel.

This stretch of Mexico's coast is home to one of the world's largest barrier reefs. It extends from the top of the Yucatan Peninsula down the length of the country and then still further south to Belize and Guatemala. This reef provides excellent diving and has sites suitable for both novice and advanced divers. For those who prefer to snorkel, there are many sections of shallow reefs off the coast of Cancun and Cozumel where you can go on a snorkeling excursion. The area is also home to some of the most significant Mayan temples and ruins. Guided tours provide insight into the ancient Aztec culture and traditions. Many of the ruins are set amongst dense tropical foliage and just getting there is an adventure in itself. For travelers looking for a quieter vacation destination along the Mexican Caribbean coast, there are many smaller resorts further south along the coast
