  • Perfect, Perfect, Perfect!!!

"This villa is clean, comfortable and has everything you need for a perfect vacation; it's private, quiet, great beds, well stocked kitchen, private pool, beach towels and chairs and the best view you will find from both the inside and outside. It is close to Red Hook and everything you may want to see and/or do. The outdoor area with the deck, pool, bar and grill are perfect for having relaxing days. We spent several days just lounging around on the deck; grilling, swimming and watching the boats go by. We had 2 couples and my brother has stage 4 lung cancer and is on oxygen. Although there were a few stairs getting down to the villa, he didn't really have trouble and was able to enjoy the deck and outdoor space. There were plenty of outdoor chairs and loungers to use, along with an outdoor dining set. The owners were quick to respond to our inquiries and were extremely helpful. Due to weather delays, our flight arrived about 10:30 pm instead of 2:00 pm. Although good directions were provided, given the late hour and long day we had, we had trouble finding the villa and had to call the owners for help. Although it was after midnight and I hated to call them that late, they answered the phone quickly and happily helped us. I can't imagine finding a better place on the island to spend your vacation. It was perfect!!"

  • Amazing vacation!

"We celebrated Christmas and New Year's at this villa in St. Kitts and it was absolutely amazing. Stunning views, swimming, amazing weather, tons to do, very friendly locals, great restaurants and food. We couldn't have asked for more. We had our children with us who were just as entertained and excited as we were to be there - swimming in the private villa pool, or hopping next door to the big infinity pool with million $ views. The villa is gorgeous, modern, very clean, very secure/safe with private driveway. There are many beaches around the island worth visiting and lots of water sports (including flyboarding, which is a blast!) Fishing, scuba, snorkel ... and Nevis is just a quick drive/ferry away! We will definitely be back soon!"

  • Almost Bliss

"Let me begin with the owner Cynthia is a great person and has very rapid feedback, and is very concerned about your visit to Bliss. I can't say enough good things about a person for whom I've never met. She personally called to check in along w/ Cimmaron property mgmt. Great team to deal with. I would have given 5 stars, but out of dumb luck the AC unit crapped out on us during our visit. No fault of anyone excluding the ac unit. Pretty hot and had tough time getting it cooled down to be comfortable. The unit is in Cruz Views condos and is unit #1 w/ has personal parking. The view is great from outdoor deck w/ is where many hours were spent over meals/drinks. The outdoor chairs are comfy also. It is a quiet, private unit unlike the rest of Cruz Views units, which are close together. The kitchen and utensils supplied are of a high standard, and great for 2 cooks in the kitchen not to be on top of each other. We cooked some great meals between BBQ grill and convection micro/oven. The cutlery and dinnerware are of high quality. The bathroom, shower, towels are of high quality. Slept in both beds and both are descent and comfy w/ no complaints. Room safe and 2 locking doors adds to security. Never had safety concerns on island though. Used pool daily and made great friends w/ numerous patrons staying in Cruz views. Water warm, good night lighting and deck furniture was adequate. We used beach chairs provided by unit and worked out great. The close proximity to town is a bonus for easy dinner access. We plan on using Bliss again in the future and can only hope for the best out of the experience from start to finish w/ owner and Cimmaron property mgmt. Both are top notch. Jim L"

Mexican Caribbean Travel Tips

Finding Your Way to Mexican Caribbean Vacation Rentals

The primary airport on the Mexican Caribbean coast is in Cancun. Over the years, Cancun has become a vibrant resort vacation destination that is popular with international travelers. Cancun International Airport has regular daily flights with most major cities in the United States. There are also regular commercial flights to major European cities such as London, Paris, Frankfurt and Madrid. Many national air carriers from South America also have scheduled flights from cities such as Sao Paolo, Lima, Caracus and Bogota. Because of its good flight connections, Cancun often serves as a travel hub for European travelers visiting Central America and the Caribbean. Cancun has a state-of-the-art cruise port where many international cruise liners dock for a few days as part of their cruises. Guests disembark to enjoy the stunning beaches and excellent shopping opportunities in the region.

Best Time of Year to Travel to Mexican Caribbean Villas

Mexico's Caribbean coastline enjoys a warm tropical climate. There is little seasonal difference in the temperatures. The main seasonal difference is in the amount of rainfall that occurs and the resulting higher levels of humidity. The coastline is susceptible to tropical storms that sometimes blow through in the late summer months of August and September. This is traditionally the low tourist season. For all other times of the year, there is a consistent influx of travelers to Mexico's Caribbean coast. The peak travel season is often in December when the weather is a little more temperate and there are lower levels of humidity. The peak season often extends to April and includes the Easter vacation period.

Activities and Attractions at Mexican Caribbean Resort Rentals

Some of the main attractions on the Mexico Caribbean coastline are the many superb resorts that are concentrated there. Many of these resorts offer vacations on an all-inclusive basis where guests can enjoy a wide range of facilities and sporting activities. Water sports centers have windsurfers, sea kayaks, paddle skis, Jet Skis and boats available so guests can enjoy the warm tropical waters. Volleyball and racquetball sets are also set up on the beachfront. Tournaments and various other activities and excursions are frequently arranged by the resorts. Most of the resorts are concentrated in Cancun and on the nearby island of Cozumel.

This stretch of Mexico's coast is home to one of the world's largest barrier reefs. It extends from the top of the Yucatan Peninsula down the length of the country and then still further south to Belize and Guatemala. This reef provides excellent diving and has sites suitable for both novice and advanced divers. For those who prefer to snorkel, there are many sections of shallow reefs off the coast of Cancun and Cozumel where you can go on a snorkeling excursion. The area is also home to some of the most significant Mayan temples and ruins. Guided tours provide insight into the ancient Aztec culture and traditions. Many of the ruins are set amongst dense tropical foliage and just getting there is an adventure in itself. For travelers looking for a quieter vacation destination along the Mexican Caribbean coast, there are many smaller resorts further south along the coast
