  • Wonderful place! Highly recommended

"Wonderful place to stay! The pictures you see are truly what you get, it's unbelievable and the views including sunrise and sunset are breathtaking. The owners of this condo are extremely receptive and responsive to any issues that come up. We had no difficulty contacting them. The condo is within wakling distance of downtown but we did rent a car. We would recommend a car, not becuase you need it to get around from this location, but moreso because visitors should get out and explore the whole island! We went to a few different beaches, including Happy Beach which is a must see! Food in the area is great and there is a large variety! Would highly recommend this place to stay!!"

  • Best Unobstructed Views Anywhere in St. Barts!

"Luxury, yes, magnificent yes!, Private, yes,yes,yes- in a gated community. Really, after staying here, there is no place else to stay. Centrally located, unparalleled views, beautifully furnished, sliding glass doors letting the outside in everywhere. Unobstructed views from every window. You'll love the view as soon as you pull up and park your car. Steps light up as you walk down to your villa, the landscaping is breathtaking, from the covered couches outside the huge kitchen, equipped with everything down to the smallest detail, a pool larger than most hotels have, to the jacuzzi outside your bedroom. The 2nd bedroom has its own pool, in a lighted grotto type area, literally steps outside the bedroom, tvs in two rooms, equipped with usa chargers, and the wifi's really fast-and the tv has american stations. Every detail was covered, when we arrived we were met like royalty and the rental car was ready. Our bags were carried to the car, and so began our fairytale. There is a magnificent breeze in this location, seating everywhere-it is really the lap of luxury, and an additional outside shower. Dont stay here unless you never want to rent a different villa, because you will leave here spoiled for life. Seriously, there are hotels smaller than this villa on st.barts. Everywhere you go, when you mention you are staying at Villa Donato, there is a moment of silence as everyone's eyes light up. Even the staff in the stores were in awe of where we were staying. The only thing I would add is an expresso maker, but The bakery is so close, you are there and back in less than five minutes every morning, also if you wanted maid service to buy breakfast, or do a wash for you, that can be easily arranged also. I was alittle disappointed that there was only water for us in the frig and not champagne, but after staying there for a few days, I wanted to leave champagne for the owner and the staff because our stay was more than top notch, we were treated like rock stars! Note, this is not an inexpensive villa, but it worth every penny and so much more-This is the best experience we have ever had in st.barts, and that's saying plenty!"

  • Great Place to Stay in St. Martin

"Our family recently stayed in this unit and found that it met all of our needs. The ocean view from the deck was perfect. Our son enjoyed swimming in the pool every day. Good proximity to Marigot and other places of interest, we spent time on both the French and Dutch side. We ate from the French bakery across the street every morning, and used the local markets for lunch and snacks. The condo was clean and very spacious for 2 adults and 2 children (infant and 6 y/o). The place looks just like the pictures, but better in person. Patrick and Louise made us feel very comfortable with the whole rental process, we would definitely stay there again!"

  • St Thomas

"The condo was beautiful. The bathroom remodel is awesome! The fact that we could walk out the sliding door and be right on the beach was wonderful. The owners are very gracious- checked to make sure we arrived safely. Would highly recommend this rental. My daughter and I were in St Thomas for a wedding. It was so nice to have Frantz pick us up at the airport and drop us off when we departed."

Netherlands Antilles Travel Tips

Best Time of Year to Visit Netherlands Antilles Vacation Rentals

The Netherlands Antilles are a group of islands located in the Caribbean. They enjoy a year-round warm tropical climate where the season is defined by the the amount of rain rather than the temperatures. There is little different between summer and winter except that in the summer months, there are higher levels of humidity and greater amounts of rainfall. Late summer is when tropical storms can blow through and this is therefore the low travel season. At other times of year, the islands enjoy a warm climate. The peak travel season is from December to April which coincides with the dry season. This conveniently coincides with the winter season of the northern hemisphere and is a welcome excuse for travelers from the United States, Canada and Europe to escape from the chilly winter temperatures back home.

Traveling to the Netherlands Antilles Villas

The Netherlands Antilles are made up of several islands. Each has its own international airport and good flight connections. Curacao, St. Maarten, Saba, Bonaire and St. Eustatius are the five islands. The airports on Curacao, St. Maarten and Bonaire are equipped to handle long-haul international flights and there are regular commercial arrivals from Amsterdam, Miami, Atlanta, New York City and Caracus in South America. The other islands have shorter runways which can accommodate smaller commercial aircraft. When traveling to one of the smaller islands, you can get regional flight connections. There are also ferry connections between St. Maarten and Saba that operate on a weekly basis.
