"We booked the house for a week. Yvonne was very helphul and answered all questions. Lying in the hammock at the porch while reading a book, enjoying the beautiful view; breath taking! The quality of the interior is way above average: the beds were very comfy as well as the kitchen was very useful. There is even a huge barbecue grill to have an extended barby! We enjoyed our stay in Puerto Rico: the people were very nice and helpful, we found some hidden beaches and enjoyed our vacation at its fullest. Deeply thank you for let us rent this outstanding house! We def comming back asap!"Guest: Rene S. Date of Stay: November 2013 Review Submitted: February 6, 2014View listing
"This condo exceeded our expectations. It was impeccably clean, well-appointed and picturesque which made for a wonderful vacation. For our family of three it was more than enough space for everyone. As the other reviewers have stated, the condo is stocked with everything you need. I enjoyed sitting on the balcony every morning with my coffee to view and listen to the teal waters. The beach is secluded, serene and well maintained as I saw the groundskeeper rake the sand every morning. We rented a car and got to see more of the "authentic" Puerto Rico. We did an Old San Juan Bay boat tour, Horseback riding on the beach at Rancho Bueno Vista located at the Palmas del Mar Resort in Humacao and visited the La Coca Falls waterfall at the El Yunque National Forest. We had dinner at Don Pepe's located in Rio Grande and it was delightful. We also had dinner TWICE at La Parrilla located at Luquillo Beach Kiosk 2 because the grilled langosta lobster was just that good! We had breakfast at the Coco Sweet Bakery and Lluvia Deli Bar & Artefacto both located in Rio Grande and both were excellent. One tip --GPS is not always spot on in Puerto Rico. It will get you in the general vicinity so keep a look out as you approach your destination. Overall we loved our time in Puerto Rico. Edgardo the condo owner was responsive, accommodating and always available to us which made for a worry free relaxing vacation. We would definitely stay at his condo again and again and again without hesitation."Guest: Sharnda B. Date of Stay: April 2014 Review Submitted: June 3, 2014View listing
"My two daughters and I had a great time for a week at Doc's in Rincon over the holidays 2013. Great place with the Lazy Parrot, Banana dang coffee shop and poolside La Familia pizza an easy walk away. The house was comfy and had great views and Cheo was very helpful. Every place Doc recommended was great from food to surf rentals. We especially enjoyed Casa Islena for breakfast and lunch (great subs) beside the sea, Calypso for mojito Monday and fish burritos, and Cofresi for la piratas. Surf was challenging for us 'rookies' but still fun and snorkeling at Steps beach was awesome. Met so many great people (many who knew Doc). We hope to come back someday. Felicidades."Guest: surfin Date of Stay: December 2013 Review Submitted: January 3, 2014View listing
Adjuntas Travel Tips
The City of the Sleeping Giant Welcomes Visitors to the Adjuntas Vacation Rentals
Welcome to La Ciudad del Gigante Dormido! The name literally translates into "The City of the Sleeping Giant." This is because of a nearby mountain formation. Whether you plan on spending your vacation dozing like the great giant or hiking through the topography that gained the town's nickname, you are sure to get the most out of your vacation by lodging in one of the available Adjuntas vacation rentals. There are rentals that are available by private owners and also rentals available in Puerto Rico resorts in Adjuntas.
La Tierra de los Lagos
Adjuntas is a town of many names. Another name is "The Land of Lakes" and we bet that you can guess why. In addition to the beautiful mountains that roll and crest throughout the topography, the terrain is also full of lakes. Adjuntas travel can include wonderful experiences in the natural world.
While spending time in this area with so many outdoor activity options, staying in one of the available Adjuntas vacation rentals is preferable to staying in a hotel. No matter how mud-splattered or grass-stained you get while hiking, you'll be able to do a load of laundry upon returning to your vacation rental.
The Switzerland of Puerto Rico
Because of the relatively chilly weather in the region, Adjuntas has been called "The Switzerland of Puerto Rico." Whether you are eating Swiss chocolate or enjoying the many culinary treats that Puerto Rico has to offer, you will enjoy the benefit of having a kitchen available to you while staying in one of the available Adjuntas vacation rentals.
Not only does having a kitchen cut down on the cost of dining out while your are on vacation, but it also allows you to live like a local. Enjoy cooking leisurely in one of the many beautiful Adjuntas vacation rentals. You can also use the kitchen to pack picnic lunches before heading out on the trail.
