  • Great spot near the Ann Wigmore Institute

"A perfect location to attend the Ann Wigmore Institute. Loved the place. Could move right in for a year. Wonderful fresh air from the crashing surf. Wish I were there right now."

  • Amazing beachhouse... A true getaway

"Pictures do not do this place justice! We needed a place big and private enough for my husband and I, my sister and her boyfriend (18 & 20), my 2 younger sisters and younger brother (teens 14, 15 & 17), my grandmother, my 2 boys (5 & 11). My grandmother's only request was that it be beachfront... she wanted to hear the waves at night and enjoy the beach during the day. This place fits the bill like no other. There are three decent sized bedrooms and all have A/C. My husband and I took the "master bedroom" (the only room with 1 bed in it). The beds were mostly all comfortable, although the teens could be picky so I am not sure I would take their complaints all to seriously about the softness of the bunk beds... There are two bathrooms, but one is on the porch/deck so you have to leave the inside of the house to use it... not a big deal, just something to note. The outdoor living space is really the most amazing part of this apartment... it is large and has plenty of seating. We really enjoyed the hammocks all day long... and the bench/table thing we used at night to play cards/dominoes. There is a grill out on the deck/patio that we used to grill dinner a few nights while we were there. There is no oven... which is not a big deal... my husband is a baker and wanted to make my dad something while we were there. There is also no dryer... but plenty of clothing lines to dry your clothes. There are a few shacks on the main route that is like 5 minutes away.. they have great food at decent prices. You must try some of the smoothies... the best we have ever had! It was a little difficult to find the place once you need to turn off the main route... the directions say "mango tree" I had no idea what a mango tree looked like when we first got there... and there were no mangoes on the tree! LOL but we figured it out with the help of the people the owner had meet us. It was overall an epic vacation... we enjoyed the beach 24/7... the kids even swam at night. We got to see baby turtles hatch right in front of the house... amazing. We had family come over and enjoy the beach and the amazing sunsets. The teens explored up and down the beach daily (it is a long and mostly secluded beach). There are tons of tiny crabs that come out at night... but they all run away... trust me - the teens tried to catch them several times ;-) Stay at this place!! It is so worth it!"

  • Outstanding Accommodation, Right on a Beautiful Beach

"The house itself is good, but the outdoor spaces are truly amazing. We stayed a week and we loved it. From its very private beach the house, surrounded by coconut trees, looks like something straight off of a postcard. There are three beautiful outdoor spaces: a large deck, complete with very comfortable hammocks; a lovely breakfast terrace; and a huge covered open-air patio. Also had a wonderful experience interacting with Carmen. She met every one of our requests, and arranged to have someone there to greet us very late at night. Because PR does not always have street addresses, finding the house the first time can be tricky and we got lost for about 15 minutes. But then someone immediately drove out to meet us and we followed him back to the house. Many good and affordable roadside restaurants are within walking distance. The house has two stories; we stayed on the ground level. Each room has two beds: one double and one twin. The rooms remain cool throughout the day. The powerful bedroom air conditioners immediately chilled the rooms at night. During the weekend, things got noisy next door, but did not continue all that late - and then during the week the house was peaceful, relaxing, and very private. We loved staying here and loved how thoughtfully Carmen arranged to meet our requests."

  • Great, great, great!!!

"I'm a puertorrican living in Maryland who was looking for a place to spend quality time with my sisters, husbands, nieces and nephews, during my vacations in the Island. Our family of 12 had a great stay at Vista Azul. The house has lots of space for a big family, you won't feel cramped in this house. It was very clean and very comfortable, it has a tremendous terrace in the back that faces the beach. Wow, what a view! The house is fully equipped, kitchen has everything for cooking. The owners are a delight to work with, they met us at at the house and explain all the amenities. The house is right on the beach which gave 8 teenagers plenty of things to do . They spent endless hours playing in the water, sand and walking on the beach. The sound of the waves was my favorite part. We will return for sure. We had a wonderful time, thank you!"
