Recent Puerto Rico reviews

  • Family from MN

"Stayed March 20th to March 25th. This was our first rental property in Puerto Rico. For the location and our large family you could not beat the price. The owners, Luis and Christina were fantastic as all the other reviews have stated. They gave us loads of ideas of what to do, where to go and the best routes to get there. We rented the top 3 bedroom floor which had plenty of space and a great patio. Some problems arose during our stay but Luis was easy to contact and available. PRO’s: Great hospitality from owners. Plenty of room for the 7 of us on the top floor. Had good TV selections, Ruko, Hulo for kids to enjoy during down times. Clean. My wife and I had dinner (Salitre restaurant) with Luis and Christina one night and they treated us like we were part of their family and made us feel right at home. Thank you Luis and Christina my wife and I appreciated it very much. :) We had to extend our stay by a day and Luis and Christina were very accommodating. CON’s: On a busy street (during our stay) which made it tough to get in/out of driveway."

  • Beautiful Apartment

"This apartment is beautiful. It was very clean and spacious. There were four adults sharing this apartment. Me, my husband, my son and his girlfriend. We had a gorgeous view of Crash Boat during the day and the sunset every evening. It worked out great to have a full kitchen and washer and dryer. Everything was very comfortable. The little extras made the vacation even more enjoyable. (beach towels, chairs and coolers) Thank you for everything Greg and Diane."

  • Great place in Luquillo!

"We rented this condo because it was centrally located between all of the places we wanted to go (Fajardo, Yunque Rainforest, San Juan). But, we ended up staying in Luquillo for most of our trip! The beach in front of the condo is really nice, the pool is refreshing, and the food nearby is delicious. The condo itself is great. It came with beach chairs and toys (basketballs and footballs), has an amazing view (with really comfy patio furniture), and has a fully stocked kitchen. I highly recommend it! Thanks Rene!"

  • I already miss this place!

"My wife, two daughters (age 3 and 1), grandmother and great-aunt and I stayed here from the 9-13th of APR 2014. We really enjoyed it! The pictures on the website, in my opinion, do not do justice to the home. IT is beautiful with beautiful views, in a safe and secure community, with awesome amenities. I consider myself a very cautious shopper-- we looked at about 15 different homes before deciding on this one. I'm SO glad we picked this one, too. Luis was a great person to deal with. He was available, via text of phone calls, for quick questions during the duration of our stay. Not only would I HIGHLY recommend this unit for families, I full expect to stay here on our next trip to PR! A+++++++ Payten & Alaina"

Ceiba Travel Tips

Ceiba Vacation Rentals in The Land of Trees

Ceiba, Puerto Rico is named after the ceiba trees, a gorgeous tropical plant that grows thick, tall above-ground roots that can be as tall as an adult human. Whether you are interested in visiting these impressive trees with a walk in the nearby rainforest or prefer to spend time on Ceiba's beaches, lodging on one of the Ceiba vacation rentals is a wonderful way to improve your experience. Many Puerto Rico resorts also have private cottages and villas where you can enjoy privacy and a large, well-equipped space of your own.

The Soup Eaters

Locals to Ceiba are known as "Los Come Sopa," which means "The Soup Eaters." Although nobody is completely sure where this name came from, it is believed that locals used to eat mostly soups when meats were scarce or difficult to procure.

Whether you decide to eat soups, salads, or steaks, one of the benefits that you can enjoy by staying in one of the Ceiba vacation rentals is the use of your own kitchen. You can enjoy coffee in your pajamas, an omelette in your bathrobe, or mofongo (a local favorite made from mashed plantains, often served with breakfast) in the buff.

A World of Your Own

Cieba travel for vacationers is sometimes simply trips to and from the beach. Long days at the beach may be in store for you on your trip to Puerto Rico, but one of the best parts of staying in one of the Ceiba vacation rentals is that, when you return to your cottage, house or, villa, you have a world of your own. You can rent a privately owned house or a villa or cottage that belongs on the grounds of a Puerto Rico resort located in Ceiba.

This is a wonderful luxury for couples who are looking for a romantic getaway, families who don't want to worry about their rambunctious young ones disturbing sleepers in the next room, and anyone who just wants a generous space to themselves while on vacation.
