  • Perfect place for anybody!

"I just returned home from this perfect piece of paradise. I'm a 22 year old guy who is a full time student and I chose this place because of the affordability... MAN was I impressed! I took my girl friend and another couple down with me for a week. I must say I was surprised at the cleanliness and functionality of this condo. Tile floors, tile showers, tile balcony with a 90 degree wraparound that overlooks nature and the ocean. New and fully functional kitchen, AC ect. Another great thing to keep in mind about this place is location. Its super quiet, no crazy clubs or bars at 2 am keeping you awake and low traffic volume. At the same time there is the best coffee shop in Rincon and free wifi is right across the street (Banana Dang). Also across the street is a convenience store that has just about everything (how convenient). The lazy parrot is also a great bar\pizza place with pool and hot tub access for the day if u make one purchase, ALSO right across the street. Everything you need is in walking distance in this quiet little area of Rincon. Oh, did i mention its a 2-5 minute drive from every beach\surf in the area as well! Lastly, the pool... Surrounded by palms with birds and nature in action. Outdoor showers with bathrooms, tables and chairs in the shade for an outdoor lunch if desired. and CLEAN! I stayed in Rincon quite a lot because Im an avid surfer. This was by far my favorite place because of everything I talked about above. I honestly think it goes further than that too. For non surfers like my girlfriend, the hammock on the balcony was the perfect place to curl up with a book and some coffee. The pool, restaurants and nature in the area can make a vacation it self! I will continue to stay at this condo every time i go back to Rincon, unless a room becomes available for purchase... then I'm buying! It truly is the perfect spot! P.S. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. Any questions about the place or the area was easily answered by a phone call to one of them. Enjoy your stay!"

  • Awesome vacation!

"My family stayed in this condo, including my husband, myself, my two adult sons, and my mother in law for a week in July. Everything was excellent! There was plenty of space for us to spread out, and the views from the balcony were breathtaking! The condo was clean, and stocked with everything we needed. Amigo's grocery store was just across the street, along with Walgreen's and Baskin and Robins Ice Cream. I was concerned when booking that not having air conditioning in the main living area would be a problem, but Drew was absolutely correct when he said you don't need it! The trade winds were beautiful and kept the condo very comfortable, even in July! All of Drew's recommendations about places to eat and things to do in the area were spot on! All in all, we had a wonderful time, and would definitely rent this condo again in the future!"

  • lovely, large rental

"the owner was very fast and helpful with all communication - by email and text. we flew in SJU, and she met us there. since we weren't going to back to SJU after our stay at her rental, she told us a very clever way to leave behind the keys and gate opener. the area the rental is located in is very quiet and secluded; it's also on a gated property - at the time there were very few other people around. there is also a small shared pool, which we didn't use - we weren't sure if we were allowed to even though no one would probably would have known if we did. the rental itself is very large for just two people. we arrived on a sunday, and the bar behind the property was blasting music, which ended around 11 pm so not too late. this was obviously just a weekend thing. we decided to sleep in the front smaller bedroom instead of the master bedroom, which has a large walk-in closet. the whole place is nicely appointed with air conditioning. the wifi was spotty but worked. we paid the nominal extra fee for cable, which was pretty limited. the tv itself isn't great, but ultimately this was negligible. the main bathroom has some water damage from the shower spraying behind the curtain, but you can affix the curtain so it doesn't. we decided to visit this corner for puerto rico for playa sucia, which was as beautiful as i hoped. it was maybe just a 10 minute drive at the most. we would definitely stay here again."

  • Wonderful home!

"Our stay in this VRBO was wonderful. Carlos communicated with us every step of the way. The home was exactly as the photos indicated and had everything we needed - from boogie boards to washer/dryer! And his guidebook with activities and restaurants was great. It was a very quiet and safe location, with beautiful views of the golf course. Me, my husband and our teenage sons spent time hiking El Yunque to La Mina Fall, kayaking on the bio luminescent bay, visiting Old San Juan, and using the local private beach and pool, as well as the Wyndham hotel beach restaurants and casino. We ate in some wonderful local restaurants (Don Pepe's, Richie's, Ay Bonito in Luquillo Beach kiosk) and had a fantastic trip. We look forward to renting Carlos' wonderful home again!"

Ceiba Travel Tips

Ceiba Vacation Rentals in The Land of Trees

Ceiba, Puerto Rico is named after the ceiba trees, a gorgeous tropical plant that grows thick, tall above-ground roots that can be as tall as an adult human. Whether you are interested in visiting these impressive trees with a walk in the nearby rainforest or prefer to spend time on Ceiba's beaches, lodging on one of the Ceiba vacation rentals is a wonderful way to improve your experience. Many Puerto Rico resorts also have private cottages and villas where you can enjoy privacy and a large, well-equipped space of your own.

The Soup Eaters

Locals to Ceiba are known as "Los Come Sopa," which means "The Soup Eaters." Although nobody is completely sure where this name came from, it is believed that locals used to eat mostly soups when meats were scarce or difficult to procure.

Whether you decide to eat soups, salads, or steaks, one of the benefits that you can enjoy by staying in one of the Ceiba vacation rentals is the use of your own kitchen. You can enjoy coffee in your pajamas, an omelette in your bathrobe, or mofongo (a local favorite made from mashed plantains, often served with breakfast) in the buff.

A World of Your Own

Cieba travel for vacationers is sometimes simply trips to and from the beach. Long days at the beach may be in store for you on your trip to Puerto Rico, but one of the best parts of staying in one of the Ceiba vacation rentals is that, when you return to your cottage, house or, villa, you have a world of your own. You can rent a privately owned house or a villa or cottage that belongs on the grounds of a Puerto Rico resort located in Ceiba.

This is a wonderful luxury for couples who are looking for a romantic getaway, families who don't want to worry about their rambunctious young ones disturbing sleepers in the next room, and anyone who just wants a generous space to themselves while on vacation.
