"After looking at hundreds of properties on vrbo I kept coming back to Diane's property in Dorado. The reviews for the home and Diane's helpfulness were spot on! I don't think our vacation home could have been any better. Diane's home has everything you could possibly need while on vacation. The bbq in the back allowed for many meals at the house and the supermarket is just down the road. During our trip three different families were brought together and never once did we feel crowded. The beach is only a few steps away and with Diane's kayaks and golf cart we were entertained all week! Dorado is only a short drive from San Juan and other Puerto Rican attractions. I can't say enough wonderful things about this home... give it a chance and you will not be disappointed."Guest: lara c. Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 15, 2014View listing
"We just enjoyed a multi-generation family vacation in this spacious condo. It felt like home from the second we stepped in. There are plenty of sleeping spaces in the 2 bedrooms. The smaller one has twin beds and trundles, so 4 fit comfortably in there. There is a large outdoor porch with 4 rockers, and a table with chairs. We loved having snacks out there and watching some ducks walk by. We enjoyed relaxing in the main pool and non-swimmers could sit in a large shaded gazebo with a ping-pong table and snack machines. The gazebo has plenty of comfortable seating. The ocean is out the back gate, and the owner has made arrangements with the next door Hyatt Hacienda del Mar to use their beach area. The condo has easy parking which is nice after battling traffic at some of the main tourist sites. There are 2 grocery stores; Amigo and Super Max, within a 10 minute drive. There is a selection of restaurants to try. I finally tried "Mofongo" at a close-by restaurant called Pika. It was nice to have a stash of beach towels, coolers and toys available to use. We drove to the standard sites; El Morro, El Yunque, Fajardo bio-luminescent bay, Camuy caves, Luquillo beach etc. The condo is conveniently located by highway 22, so it was an easy 'out' to get to the sites. We met residents of the condo community and everyone was friendly and helpful. I'd come back in a flash, and just relax at the condo, there are 3 pools and a beach. No need to leave!!"Guest: DC Granny Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: July 7, 2014View listing
"First off, all previous positive reviews are completely accurate. This villa is exactly as shown in the pictures and described. The villa and all the inside and outside furniture are impeccably clean and in new conditions. This includes the appliances and kitchen. We had 5 adults and plenty of room. Each morning we had coffee on the patio and each night cocktails on the deck overlooking the ocean. We always had a breeze which made it very pleasant outside. The pool was very clean and relaxing. The neighbors were friendly and even helpful with tips. Now to Loida. Our whole experience from the original booking to the refund of our deposit was handled in an extremely professional manner. Loida was available at all times to help us with anything we needed. She sent us a package of materials that was very helpful for our trip. We rented a car and really got to see the island and the natural beauty it has to offer. We found the people of PR to be friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a resort or hotel atmosphere, this is not for you. If you want to really see the island and meet the people, this is a great way to do it. We had an excellent experience and would rent this villa again without hesitation. Mark & Connie - CT"Guest: Mark F. Date of Stay: March 2014 Review Submitted: March 27, 2014View listing
"My husband and I stayed for 10 wonderful days. Ilka & Ramon was very helpful and trustworthy. The Villa is exactly what you see in the pictures. The Villa was clean & well maintained with full kitchen, dinning room and with everything you need. The beds are very comfortable & rooms with A/C. The place was very quite , we felt secure and safe with security 24/7. The location is great! Near a shopping center, CVS, Walgreen, Super Max grocery store, also few fast food restaurants. Near the Embassy Suites, sad that they closed there casino, we were able to enjoy there last day. We made the commitment to walk the beach each morning with the sunrise (7:00am) it's was priceless!!!! We took the most beautiful pictures even with rainbow. The beach is beautiful, clear & with calm warm waters. We had the key's to the private beach & to the pool. We did lots of travelling, took the ferry from Catano to San Juan, visited the El Morro, Also we did the Bacardi Tour. Recommended to eat breakfast at El Meson en Bayamon. Good spanish food at Guavate/Cayey, but the best is "La Vaca Brava in the Old San Juan!!! Thank you Ilka & Ramon for letting us stay in your beautiful villa! Will love stay at you're place on our next vacation!!"Guest: IVY C. Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: September 20, 2014View listing
