"The house was beautiful and the view of the Caribbean Sea was spectacular !! The verandah areas of the house were really amazing , being able to lay outside on the lounge chairs and dine outside after grilling at night was really cool. This was our first time in Puerto Rico and we loved every minute of it ! The local resteraunts were really good , fresh fish of all kinds ! My Wife and I had a great vacation in Rincon and we would not hesitate to stay at this amazing mountain top villa again !"

  • Was a Good Choice Condo!

"Our family of 6 just returned home from Isla Verde! We had a very enjoyable vacation and renting this condo definitely contributed to that outcome. We found the condo to be clean, beds comfortable, well supplied (including 2 beach chairs, cooler, sand cart, sand toys, beach towels, iron/board, hair dryer, books, a roll away bed and any kitchen supplies you might need.) My husband was very happy that a Starbuck's was next door in the El San Juan also. The location was a plus being on the beach, close to a supermarket, walking distance to many restaurants, bars and stores. Our favorites included La Playa hotel bar/restaurant-very close via the beach; Jimmy's BBQ top floor of El San Juan resort-good for happy hour meal specials and Luppi's Mexican restaurant. We enjoyed the pool at the ESJ towers and the little market in the building was a plus also; must mention all employees at ESJ very nice and helpful. Would recommend renting this condo!"

  • A great place to stay in beautiful Rincon.

"From my first contact with Doc, he was helpful about directions, local attractions, food, beaches, yoga and day trips. He is a great guy and knows alot about Rincon. We loved his home - the beds were comfy, the view is awesome, the jacuzzi refreshing, kitchen well stocked and its a great location off the main road. We explored the beaches, restaraunts, farmers market, art walk, and had a great time snorkeling, hanging out at the beaches and watching the sunsets. The property owner, Cheo, welcomed us when we arrived and was available if we had any questions. There is a great yoga spot down the road and we also had a chance to hear some local music while we were there. It was a special treat to meet Doc and Sara on our last day there. They are such kind and generous people. Thank you both for sharing your beautiful home. It was our first time in Rincon and we definitely want to come back as soon as we can."

  • Wonderful condo, not for walkers

"We stayed in the lovely home of Luisa and Homero from 2/11-2/17/15. There were 6 of us – grandparents, parents and teenaged children – and we found the space to be extremely comfortable. The apartment itself couldn’t be more tastefully decorated or more perfectly appointed. Everything is provided and at your fingertips. We were so grateful not to have to worry about bringing or buying dry goods and bath products; we were surprised and pleased to find that our hosts provided us with everything from napkins and paper towels to umbrellas and beach chairs as well… even a welcome bottle of wine! The unit and the complex were exactly what we’d hoped for and Luisa and Homero couldn't have been more gracious. It should be noted that Fajardo is not a town that can be visited without a car, and the complex of Pena Mar itself requires a car as well. It is located high on a hill, which, while providing lovely views from the gracious balcony and master bedroom, makes it difficult if not impossible to stroll. This is probably not a destination for walkers, although everything from beaches to the Vieques and Culebra ferries and many restaurants, stores and conveniences are within a 10-minute drive."
