  • Vacation Stay

"My family especially enjoyed the gas barbecue and back patio. It would have been great to have a coffee table in the living area. Quiet and safe. Needs a dish drainer for the sink. Easy access to beach areas."

  • Great Villa at a Great Location

"This is a wonderful and well priced villa. The location is perfect - very close to the grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants (Don Pepe's was our favorite), and attractions. Very easy commute to San Juan. The Wyndham grounds and the villa property are beautiful! The BIG pool/club house for the villa is right on the beach and not crowded. Weekends you will find the bar open. The villa is larger than expected, VERY CLEAN, and is well appointed, small kitchen fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils, etc. Just a little maintenance is needed on the cabinet doors (the only negative). I have rented at quite a few locations around the world and this owner was by far the best to work with - very organized and provided excellent customer service. I would highly recommend this location and this owner (as she has multiple properties). She also provided an EXCELLENT suggestion list of restaurants, attractions, etc. with perfect instructions. My family and I will definitely be returning!"

  • Felicidades Rincon

"My two daughters and I had a great time for a week at Doc's in Rincon over the holidays 2013. Great place with the Lazy Parrot, Banana dang coffee shop and poolside La Familia pizza an easy walk away. The house was comfy and had great views and Cheo was very helpful. Every place Doc recommended was great from food to surf rentals. We especially enjoyed Casa Islena for breakfast and lunch (great subs) beside the sea, Calypso for mojito Monday and fish burritos, and Cofresi for la piratas. Surf was challenging for us 'rookies' but still fun and snorkeling at Steps beach was awesome. Met so many great people (many who knew Doc). We hope to come back someday. Felicidades."

  • Great vacation home for families and large groups!

"Pirates Cove worked great for our group of 7 adults and 2 children. There is plenty of space indoors and outdoors that allowed us to be together as a group and also have our own space as well. The setup worked great having the bedrooms downstairs and the living area upstairs especially at night when the kids went to sleep early. We loved having the washer and dryer available for our use and we used the grill practically every day and night. There were plenty of bath and beach towels, linens, kitchenware, and everything else we needed. The pool area and backyard are great. The hot tub is not heated which was odd at first but it didn't really matter since it was so warm out. The grounds have such a tropical feel with beautiful palm trees and other fruit trees (bananas, starfruit, etc.) Every afternoon we would watch from the upstairs porch all the iguanas bathing at the top of the palm trees. And every night we fell asleep to the sounds of the coqui. The beach nearby was unfortunately full of seaweed and the waters were too rough for swimming. Also, the rocky path leading down to the beach area wasn't too inviting and was tough with young kids. Nevertheless, it was nice to have a beach so close and we enjoyed scouring the sand for sea glass and sea shells. We took advantage of a couple other beaches nearby- highly recommend taking a sailing trip to beautiful Icacos Island. We enjoyed horseback riding and a deep sea fishing trip at Palmas del Mar and also did some great day trips to Old San Juan and El Yunque Rainforest. We had a tough time finding really good restaurants in the area- there are a couple in Palmas del Mar. But mostly we ate at the house- there are plenty of supermarkets (including a huge Walmart) nearby for groceries. The owner was very accessible whenever we had questions. We had an issue with one of the air conditioners but he was able to help resolve it. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!"
