"We just returned home to the worst winter in New England for 10 years! We had the good luck of missing two entire weeks of it, snow storm after snow storm, while we enjoyed ourselves at Casa Soleada. This is our second consecutive February visiting Casa Soleada. We love the views, find the house comfortable in every way, and use it as an excellent base to travel about Eastern Puerto Rico. This year we explored Palmas Del Mar, one of Puerto Rico's finest resorts, which Casa Soleada looks down on from its amazing location. The resort offered us access to 15 restaurants and the beach; because the owner of Casa Soleada is a member there we were able to visit the lovely Beach Club complex using the provided guest passes. The resort is just a six-minute drive from the Casa, but no one in the resort had our amazing views and lovely breezes. Oh, to be back relaxing by the pool and soaking up the rays!"

"Casa de Loma was perfect home and the perfect location for our trip to Puerto Rico. My grandmother grew up on a farm in Puerto Rico and we wanted to experience the kind of rural setting she had lived in as a girl. The hills of Las Piedras are just that. There are fields of plantain trees, cocoanut palms everywhere, mangos growing wild in this country setting. The house itself was cool and breezy and the swimming pool in the large garden was a joy. The neighborhood was well-kept and the neighbors were embracing and helpful. We loved the views from the narrow road leading to the expressway. It took us only 4 minutes to drive to the expressway, but staying high in the hills we never knew it was there. We visited the rainforest (walked in and swam in a waterfalls!) spent an evening in Old San Juan, took a ferry to Vieques Island (about a 25 minute drive away) and went to the Palmas Del Mar Beach to jump in the waves. The highlight of our trip was going over the mountain to Maunabo and Los Bohios Beaches. Beautiful natural beaches on each side of an historic lighthouse. Almost alone on these beaches, we felt we were in a tropical paradise. The house was as advertised. Comfortable, well-equipped and Cable TV and Wifi. We had everything we needed including access to a washer and a dryer. Thanks for share it with us; we hope to come back soon!"

"We had 6 people stay very comfortably in this nice oceanside house. We had 4 bedrooms, a beautiful porch to look out on the water, and a nice kitchen. The house is in a real neighborhood in a real town. If you want to get away from 'touristy' this is the place to be. If you want gift shops and McDonalds, Punta Santiago is not for you. The ocean is maybe 200 feet from the backyard and they are on a sandy beach that is very nice for swimming. You can see Cayo Santiago (Monkey Island) and I was able to kayak to it. There is a big room downstairs that you access from outside. This is where the laundry room is, as well as the 3rd bathroom. There were kayaks here although one needs some repair. There is a small grocery store that is a short 2 block walk away. The only issue we had was with the water pressure. Not very strong showers. Otherwise, we were all very happy to stay here. Leaving was very sad."
