  • Casa Soleada Bright, Airy, and Great Views

"My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Casa Soleada and the wonderful low 80 degree temperatures of Puerto Rico (PR) in late February. The house was clean, tidy and very charming. I liked the layout, the bright colors and airiness of the house. Although it was a challenging climb up a narrow and winding road to get to the house, once there the house offered privacy with gorgeous views of the ocean and the various towns below. Humacao is located close to many sites along the eastern coast of PR. We enjoyed visiting the El Yunque Rain Forest, Luquillo Beach, and the island of Viegues to name a few. Since we were sightseeing during the day, we didn’t get to enjoy the pool which always looked so inviting. Unfortunately, by the time we returned from our travels, it was a little breezy and overcast for us to use the pool. However, we did enjoy the view and reading from the patio around the pool. Casa Soleada had internet service which allowed us to stay in touch with our family and a TV. Jim, the owner, was fabulous at answer questions I had before traveling to PR and he provided a nice travel packet which we used frequently during our stay."

  • This place is amazing

"This place is amazing. From the time we drove into Palmas till we left it was perfect. The photos do not do it justice. The owners are very helpful and nice. They have stocked their rental with everything you could possibly need. The beach toys and towels were a lifesaver. You can tell that the owners have thought of everything you could want and then some. I honestly can not say enough good things about this place. We can not wait to come back and stay here again."

  • fabulous location

"The description and pictures of the condo do not do it justice! There are ocean views from the bedroom and patio. The location of the condo can't be beat. We loved the convenience of being on the first floor, and being the end unit offered alot of privacy. We were the closest unit to the beach and just steps from the pool. The condo was clean and comfortable, and having a grill and 2 bicycles were an added bonus. The Crescent Cove staff were always really friendly and helpful. The complex is centrally located in Palmas. We could walk a short distance to the hotel, casino, restaurants tennis club and the outdoor beach bar was just steps away. The Plaza which offered conveninece store, souvenier shops and many restaurants was about a 2 mile walk or a five minute ride. We left Palmas a few times to do our grocery shopping at Walmart which was just a few exits down the highway. We took a day trips to Culebra and Frajardo-and found the beautiful "Hidden Beach" which was well worth the short walk from the main Seven Seas beach. Finally,we can't thank (the owner )Ana enough for everything. She was a pleasure to deal with from the first time we contacted her and throughout our stay. She went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect and was truely committed to making sure our vacation was great. We can't wait to return next year- hopefully for a few days longer! Thanks again Ana!"

  • Pretty, clean, nice decor, old appliances

"The place was spacious, and easily and comfortably rested our 7 people. It was very clean and the decor was chic and charming. The entire Palmas Del Mar complex is quite swanky. The sandy and palm-tree lined beach, while scenic, has rough surf and current and signs warning against swimming; the waves are also thick with seaweed. The pool is smallish and warm, and closes at dusk. Lots of steps to climb to this condo, which was an issue for elderly grandma and teen daughter on crutches (who tripped at El Yunque and broke her foot). The balconies each have huge noisy AC units, not suitable for sitting out on. Fridge was as loud as a room fan, dryer broke, shower fixtures were on their last legs. A few restaurants in the complex, pricey but not outrageous; Humacao is a 10-minute drive with a wide selection for eating and groceries. Met very friendly neighbors during the evening and we chatted a long time -- looks like most people staying here are locals. Fair price and it fit our needs."
