wonderful accommodations, lots of activities nearby
"We stayed here for five nights. William met us at the airport late at night to lead the way to his fantastic condo. We explored El Yunque, went on the mini boat snorkeling tour, went horseback riding, took surfing lessons, and visited a couple of beaches all within a 45 minute drive. There is a lot to do onsite, too - 5 pools, beach, tennis, mini golf, bball, etc. It was so nice to come home after a long day of playing and go for a swim, take a warm shower, and relax on the awesome rooftop terrace. I highly recommend staying here."

"My husband, our 3 year old son, my sister and her boyfriend stayed here for 4 nights in March. It was absolutely beautiful and perfect for our group of 5. The huge outdoor deck offered so many options for lounging, eating, grilling and even napping...all with an absolutely stunning view of the water. The house had everything we needed and was in perfect condition when we arrived. Theresa's directions were spot on and it was the one place in PR that we actually were able to locate on our first try! The town is not much to speak of, but the beaches were spectacular and not crowded at all. We tried out Domes beach (to watch the surfers) and Steps beach for awesome snorkeling. And my husband tried surf lessons before deciding the sport was not for him! But honestly, we preferred the ease and privacy of the beach and water at the base of the property. Our son loved watching the crabs and other sea creatures and my sister loved the snorkeling. One word of warning, the street that the house is on is very narrow and the rental car place gave us a mini-van which made it very difficult to maneuver. Technically, you should be able to drive in a loop and not have to turn around, but we often found the street blocked and we had to execute a 10 point turn with the mini-van. so make sure to get a small car! Also, i'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5 only because i made several e-mail inquiries regarding parking and a small cot-type bed for my son that went unanswered until I called Theresa (at which point she was very nice). Not sure why the e-mails went unanswered, but would recommend getting all your questioned answered in advance."

"My husband and I and our three grade-school boys had a delightful week at this condo in March. We all loved going to the pool right next door and the beach just across the street. The condo was clean, roomy, and well stocked with all the pots, dishes, utensils, sheets and towels we needed. The airy windows provided cool breezes during the day, and the air conditioning in the bedrooms and living room kept us comfortable at night. The rooftop patio has a beautiful view of the beach during the day and the stars at night. We could easily walk to the Cabezas de San Juan Nature Reserve for a tour that we booked in advance. We ate several meals at the restaurant next door and walked to Las Croabas for other restaurants. We were glad for the garage to park our vehicle, which we used to reach the grocery store, local boating and snorkeling tours, and more distant destinations such as El Yunque and the Rio Camuy bat caves."

"We just returned from Villa Mar and didn't want to leave! The beach house is tastefully decorated and has everything you need for a perfect vacation. We enjoyed relaxing under the coconut trees on the beach while whale spotting, watching pelicans dive, hermit crabs, an iguana and local fishermen. We napped in the shaded hammocks, had coffee on the patio at sunrise and happy hour sunsets. We loved it so much, we never went to the sights we planned to visit.
A couple from NY strolled by and asked us for booking information.
I am planning a return visit ASAP!"
