  • Awesome vacation!

"This was our first VRBO experience and the bar has been set very high. The Condo: The Condo was gorgeous. The photos listed on the site are completely true. The view from the balcony and one of the bedrooms overlook the pool and the beach. The condo is stocked with everything you can imagine that you'd need for a beach vacation, including incidentals like aloe in the fridge and paddles and a ball to play on the beach or in the pool. The condo lends itself to an easy vacation, with free parking right under the elevator to the door of the condo. Rio Grande is central to all the activities, including San Juan, El Yunke, Fajardo, Culebra and others. The Owner: There are so many places to choose when coming to PR. We chose this one because of the attentiveness of the owner. While making our decisions, he answered questions about the area, rental cars, even flights. Upon arrival, he called to ensure that we arrived safely and that we knew how to get to the condo and when we reached the condo, the fridge, freezer and pantry were stocked (we have an allergy and he was aware and worked with that, too). He called during the vacation to ensure that we were having fun and to make sure that we don't need anything. Very attentive and kind owners. We never met him, but maybe we will on our next visit. Activities: We are an active family and took advantage of activities. We went to Old San Juan (try to eat near the fort and not the cruises if you want more "authentic" food). We lucked out as it was President's Day weekend and everything was free. We climbed El Yunke which was fun, but didn't see any animals, just trees and waterfalls. Very beautiful, but after a while, the same ol'. Ziplining at Toro Verde was incredible. Not close as it's in the middle of the country, but well worth it. Our tour guide, Jerry, was amazing and explained how the country people lived. Loved it. Bio Bay kayaking and snorkeling with the sea turtles at Culebra were amazing, too. The weather was ok (rained every day, but not too much), but when it's in the 80s, one cannot complain. Recommendation: We would definitely come back. The condo was amazing. The owner was incredible and the people of PR were so nice. Great trip. Thank you!"

  • Great vacation place!

"This place is by far my best choice for my island vacation stays! The condo is very spacious, clean, and relaxing. The living room faces a marina, so that we not only could enjoy breeze and sunshine, but also a beautiful view while lying in the sofa. Just as other reviews have mentioned, this place is well equipped-- we've found everything we needed for cooking, as well as sand chairs, first aids, plenty of swimming towels, and laundry machines. The location of the condo is also a plus, with harbors or ferries within convenient driving distances. The booking process went very smooth, thanks to Alex's efficient work. We also greatly appreciated the help from the building manager, Anthony. Due to the snow storm, we had to change flights and arrived past mid-night. Anthony waited for us, and gave us very helpful tips about restaurants, grocery shopping and water activities. My parents and my husband also like the place a lot and we can't help recommending it to our friends as soon as we came back!"

  • Fajardo is a great vacation place for those that truly want to relax & enjoy the culture.

"This was our best vacation yet! The condo was fabulous, super clean and a breath taking view of the ocean in front and mountains with a rain forest in back. The private balcony was a favorite spot to relax and enjoy the view with friends. We have already told most of our friends that we plan to return ASAP! There are beautiful beaches both far & near with warm carribiean waters smoothly flowing into protected bays. We thourghly enjoyed the locals and their culture. Amazing food, & not a single rude person. Our 3 bed with 2 full bath condo had everything we needed to cook there, this allowed us to save a fortune by not eating out every meal. It was equipped with a washer dryer combo so we packed light and didn't bring home a single stitch of dirty clothes. There was close easy access to any place you wanted to go. Like I said, our tans have not yet started to fade & we are planning our return trip!"

  • Wonderful Vacation for 9 People!!

"My family and I just returned from an awesome vacation at this condo in Palmas Del Mar, Humacao, Puerto Rico. Everything was terrific, just like it was advertised. Our group of 9 people fit comfortably in the 4 bedrooms (with 3 bathrooms). We loved the 2 terraces with their beautiful views. The condo has everything!! It's completely furnished with sheets, towels, pillows, and a fully equipped kitchen. The air conditioning and all the many appliances including washer and dryer (which are SO important for a tropical vacation) worked perfectly. The place was spotless when we arrived. Palmas Del Mar is a unique vacation spot because it offers everything--great restaurants, beaches, pool, boating for snorkeling or scuba, tennis, golf and even a botanical forest with a boardwalk --all in a safe, secure environment. We will return!!!!"
