"Between the beach and the pool, we didn't feel the need to go anywhere else. Our grandchildren could not get enough of the water and the sand. The house is spacious and gracious, but the best part is the roofed veranda and pool and walled garden, where we ate all of our meals and enjoyed just talking.
We had been to San Juan before but never Rincon. It is rural Puerto Rico. A wonderful and busy little town from the 1950s. The nights are filled with tropical sounds of tiny frogs. Early morning in the distance roosters crowing and an occasional dog. Modernization is also present. Rincon Escape has a good wi-fi and my laptop worked fine.
We had two big adventures. Snorkeling at Steps Beach - discovering fabulous corals. And several of us tried scuba diving -- you don't have to be experienced just adventuresome.
We are already planning a return."

"The owner, Roberto was very accomodating. Beautiful condo right on the beach. Had everything we needed for family vacation. Practically had the whole beach to ourselves with plenty of palms for shade. Upper terrace was the place to be for evening cocktails and BBQ. Nice views. I would stay again and recommend to my family and friends."

"Casa de Loma was perfect home and the perfect location for our trip to Puerto Rico. My grandmother grew up on a farm in Puerto Rico and we wanted to experience the kind of rural setting she had lived in as a girl. The hills of Las Piedras are just that. There are fields of plantain trees, cocoanut palms everywhere, mangos growing wild in this country setting. The house itself was cool and breezy and the swimming pool in the large garden was a joy. The neighborhood was well-kept and the neighbors were embracing and helpful. We loved the views from the narrow road leading to the expressway. It took us only 4 minutes to drive to the expressway, but staying high in the hills we never knew it was there. We visited the rainforest (walked in and swam in a waterfalls!) spent an evening in Old San Juan, took a ferry to Vieques Island (about a 25 minute drive away) and went to the Palmas Del Mar Beach to jump in the waves. The highlight of our trip was going over the mountain to Maunabo and Los Bohios Beaches. Beautiful natural beaches on each side of an historic lighthouse. Almost alone on these beaches, we felt we were in a tropical paradise. The house was as advertised. Comfortable, well-equipped and Cable TV and Wifi. We had everything we needed including access to a washer and a dryer. Thanks for share it with us; we hope to come back soon!"

"We stayed at this beautiful property for a family gathering..It was absolutely awesome! The owner was gracious, got back to us immediately with any questions we had. He was very accommodating to any and all requests.
The house had everything we could possible need or want. It as beautifully decorated, very clean, the pool was gorgeous, plenty of seating for everyone, owner even provided us with beach chairs, umbrellas, cooler, etc to bring to the several beaches in the area and we did use these. You good tell that this owner really cherishes his property.
The view from the balcony outside the main living area was spectacular, we watched many beautiful sunsets from this spot, as were the views from the rooftop deck where we watched the stars at night. Nice large table chairs and grill was also provided on the rooftop deck
It was nice to have the option of turning on room air conditioners when & where needed. These came in particularly handy to drain out the sounds of the rooster crowing in very early morning, but at the same time it was nice to have the roosters there. The sounds of Puerto Rico!
Owner left a list of suggestions of where to eat, beaches, etc. with directions which came in very handy. The bakery close by was very handy for sweets in the a.m. and great homemade bread
Just can't say enough about this property and the owner. Hope to go back. Highly recommend this beautiful property."
