  • Absolute Heaven

"To be surrounded by such gorgeous, lush natural landscape, to hear all the birds during the day and the coqui frogs at night was an incredible treat. We had trouble tearing ourselves away from the porch with its view of the mountains and the palms. And it was oh so quiet!! We have never slept better (and the new bed was very comfortable!!). Although the cabin is simple it is very comfortable and thoughtfully decorated. No light pollution either. Hiking up the mountain was our daily activity. Easy drive to the beaches which take you through small towns so you can experience local life. Christina was so joyful and happy to help. She made our stay great. We would definitely return for an even longer period of time. LOVED IT!"

  • Love it, cant wait to come back!

"Location couldn't be better! No need of a car since everything you need is a walking distance. Owner provide a binder with a list of great suggestions from food all the way to entertainment. Buy the best of all if how CLEAN the place was. As soon as you walk in, the great smell gives you the heads up of what to expect in the rest of the place. Everything was spotless and well stocked. We CANT wait to come back! Thank you for everything!"

  • Relaxed renter

"The process for renting was easy and stress free. I stayed 8 days in this apartment and I felt like home. The 3 bedroom apartment is spacious and has everything you might need. I went with my mom and my daughter and we all had a great time. At night you can just open the windows and the breeze you get is great, no air condition needed. You can stay in the balcony for hours. It has many eating facilities close by! The owner has a Big Binder that has tons of information from traveling to eating out. I will definite consider renting here again."

  • Awesome vacation!

"This was our first VRBO experience and the bar has been set very high. The Condo: The Condo was gorgeous. The photos listed on the site are completely true. The view from the balcony and one of the bedrooms overlook the pool and the beach. The condo is stocked with everything you can imagine that you'd need for a beach vacation, including incidentals like aloe in the fridge and paddles and a ball to play on the beach or in the pool. The condo lends itself to an easy vacation, with free parking right under the elevator to the door of the condo. Rio Grande is central to all the activities, including San Juan, El Yunke, Fajardo, Culebra and others. The Owner: There are so many places to choose when coming to PR. We chose this one because of the attentiveness of the owner. While making our decisions, he answered questions about the area, rental cars, even flights. Upon arrival, he called to ensure that we arrived safely and that we knew how to get to the condo and when we reached the condo, the fridge, freezer and pantry were stocked (we have an allergy and he was aware and worked with that, too). He called during the vacation to ensure that we were having fun and to make sure that we don't need anything. Very attentive and kind owners. We never met him, but maybe we will on our next visit. Activities: We are an active family and took advantage of activities. We went to Old San Juan (try to eat near the fort and not the cruises if you want more "authentic" food). We lucked out as it was President's Day weekend and everything was free. We climbed El Yunke which was fun, but didn't see any animals, just trees and waterfalls. Very beautiful, but after a while, the same ol'. Ziplining at Toro Verde was incredible. Not close as it's in the middle of the country, but well worth it. Our tour guide, Jerry, was amazing and explained how the country people lived. Loved it. Bio Bay kayaking and snorkeling with the sea turtles at Culebra were amazing, too. The weather was ok (rained every day, but not too much), but when it's in the 80s, one cannot complain. Recommendation: We would definitely come back. The condo was amazing. The owner was incredible and the people of PR were so nice. Great trip. Thank you!"
