"We were a party of 6 four adults 2 kids, we loved the place! There was lots to do right there at the condo, and we used it as a base for all the wondering around we did on the island. It was clean, comfortable and Minnie was a most gracious hostess. I will definitely recommend it to friends and if we ever get back there, we will happily stay there again."Guest: travelingirl Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: June 24, 2014View listing
"We stayed at this condo for 6 nights post cruise. Gaby, the owner, was lovely and great to work with. She answered questions via email and met us at the condo. She was flexible with our arrival and departure times which we appreciated. The security deposit was returned within days of us returning home. The location is ideal, beach is beautiful. We rented chairs and umbrella on the beach for $18 ($4 each for lounge chairs, $10 for a big beach umbrella) most days. The condo buildings are next to the Intercontinental Hotel and across from many restaurants and places to get groceries. Couldn't be more ideal. The Coral Beach are among the older condos on the beach but have the biggest pool and amazing security. The condo is actually perpendicular to the beach so only the very corner rooms are actually beachfront. At night if curtains weren't closed and you have the light on you are in full view of the apartments directly across. However, there is a good side view of the beach from the balcony or if you are close to the window. The air conditioning worked well but we preferred to have the windows open. The tv's had quite a few English channels including the major networks, CNN and children's stations. Internet worked well while we were there. The kitchen seemed well equipped although we did not really cook! There is a washer and dryer which we used a few times. The dryer vents into the condo with hot humid air though so we only used it when we had the sliding door open. Bring your own laundry detergent and dryer sheets. The king bed was very comfortable, had a good quality mattress with nice sheets. We slept great. Nice bedroom furniture. The comforter provided was really heavy. It might have been nice to have had a lighter weight bedspread or blanket as an alternative. There was not a bedside clock. Lots of storage. A walkin closet had hangers, shelves and space to store suitcases. Beach toys and basketball provided. The living room area was spacious but sparsely furnished. The futon was clean, looked OK but was not comfortable for 2 people to stretch out with a book or watching TV. If you only wanted an extra sleeping space it would be fine. A regular sofa and a comfy armchair would have been nice. This would be our only reason for not returning. We brought our our own beach towels, the ones provided are small (more like bath towels). We had a great week and would recommend the condo and owner wholeheartedly."Guest: barb and andrew k. Date of Stay: March 2014 Review Submitted: March 10, 2014View listing
"This summer as part of our family trip we decided to rent an apartment for the first time. We ended up in this wonderful gem! The apartment was spacious and comfortable (there were five of us). My mother had not been on the island in more than 50 years and having this inviting home as a place to relax from our whirlwind activity filled days was a Godsend. The condo has all the comforts of home, more so because we were able to step right out of the property to the beach. In the front closet there are beach chairs, cooler, umbrella and beach toys which we were able to use while on the beach. Waking up and sitting on the balcony at dawn was one of the most beautiful and tranquil moments of the day and a highlight of our memories. Jim is personable and communicated with us before, during and after our stay. My family unanimously agrees that we will be visiting again! After staying here no more hotel rooms for us. Thanks Jim!"Guest: carmen r. Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: August 25, 2014View listing
"We stayed at the studio for 1 week was great for us considering we just need the room for sleeping and showering, its not the Ritz so if your looking for luxury your not going to find it here. One thing the room could use is a coffee maker a must for me. Location was great close to the beach and restaurants and right next to the Ritz and if your going to go to the beach id travel closer to the Ritz side as it seems they keep there beach groomed all year long were as the ESJ Tower and El San Juan Resort does not lots of sea weed!!! (not just on the beach but in the water too) Plato's restaurant nearby very good Puerto Rican Cuisine and Piu Bello also has great breakfast and Gelato. The staff at the Apartment was very friendly Isabel I believe is the caretaker and very accommodating as well as Karen who is also very friendly and helpful which makes this location a 4 star for sure."Guest: Roko S.
