"What a beautiful place! If you want to be steps away from the beach, then this is for you. I was traveling on my own and stayed for a month. It was close enough to everything that I was able to walk everywhere. The owners, Nora and her daughter Mercedes, are wonderful people. They are very helpful and professional and the condo was in great shape. It was equipped with everything I needed to enjoy my stay. I did a lot of running in the mornings and walked along the beach everyday and it was perfect. The weather couldn't have been any better. The breeze that comes off the ocean was enough that I never used the air conditioning in the condo, just the ceiling fans. The people who live in the complex were friendly and I enjoyed meeting many wonderful friends. I would definitely consider coming back to Luquillo again. My vacation was everything I hoped it would be."Guest: Dawn Date of Stay: March 2014 Review Submitted: April 15, 2014View listing
"Was the listing description accurate regarding the location, layout, amenities, etc? The listing was accurate, but it did not do the property justice. We were pleasantly surprised at how relaxing the place was as soon as we stepped through the doors. Was the property clean and well-maintained? Immaculate! Did the owner or manager provide good customer service? Perfect service. The property manager met us upon our arrival, and he showed us everything we needed to know to take full advantage of all the amenities in the house and property. Would you recommend this property to a friend or relative? Yes. I would recommend this especially to a very large group. Three small families could enjoy this property and feel as though they each have a private space. Common spaces are spectacular. What activities, attractions and restaurants did you enjoy? Our group took surfing lessons with 787Surf and it was rigorous and well worth the money. We were able to get a small discount for a group rate (8 adults). We also ate at Shipwreck and Tamboo. One suggestion for owners: grille needs to be updated."Guest: Dr. Mom Date of Stay: February 2014 Review Submitted: February 24, 2014View listing
"My daughter, who lives in NYC called to ask me if I wanted to get away from all the snow for a few days. She wanted a great place, on the water with a nice beach to just relax and look out at the ocean. We found everything and more here @ Florimar. It is a fabulous space, inside and out; jtwo large balconies overlooking the ocean, clean, well kept with all the amenities, great beds, pillows, bathrooms, great security system (always felt safe). The owner, Teresa was a pleasure to deal with. The beach is a few steps to the left at the bottom of the stairs of the house. Lovely, clean beach in a cove. One day I saw 2 people on it for 2 hrs. and another day a family way down the beach. It was very private, almost like it was my own beach! It's a lovely walking, swimming, snorkeling beach. I highly recommend it and can't wait to return! Just lovely."Guest: Lynn M. Date of Stay: February 2014 Review Submitted: February 27, 2014View listing
