  • Amazing View of Ocean and Mountains too!

"We stayed in the top floor unit at R Beach House. It was very clean and well-maintained. The views off of the back porch were beautiful. The rooftop terrace had views of both the ocean and the mountains as well. We had six people in the unit and were all very comfortable. Kitchen was very well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Even down to the "all-clad" cookware that I dream of, but can't afford in my own kitchen! Allison was great to deal with, even as we rented the unit somewhat at last minute and they were on vacation, she was still available. I would definitely recommend this property to others. One thing to note is that there no air conditioning, except in one bedroom. Don't let that stop you though, because the back side of the house is mainly large sliding glass doors w/screens, which we had open the whole time during our stay, and between the ceiling fans and the heavenly ocean breeze we were always fine. As far as restaurants, we didn't do so well with our choices - first night at Shipwreck, which was totally overpriced and not great at all. Our favorite meal was at a "taco truck" called Kabana's. Wonderful, fresh mahi-mahi tacos!"

  • Fun in the sun!

"We have enjoyed vacationing in Rincon several times. This home was extremely comfortable and well represented in the photos. The pool area was spacious and perfect for a barbeque with local family members. The kitchen was well equipped to prepare just about anything you would want. We found a great fresh fish connection at the empanadilla stand located on Steps beach...beautiful, fresh red snapper for a very reasonable price. Bedding was comfortable and abundant. The air conditioning was much appreciated.. although my husband was born and raised in PR... he can't take the heat anymore lol! Parking was readily available on the gated property. This was much appreciated and a rare commodity on the tight and narrow streets of Rincon. The only issue we encountered was sporadic connectivity with the internet. Luis (the property manager) was always available and attended to this problem but it seemed to be an overall connection issue in the area. This is a problem we have encountered all over Rincon. Would recommend this charming, comfortable home for a relaxing visit, we only regret we could only stay for 6 wonderful days... thanks Jay for allowing us the pleasure of staying in your lovely home! We would also recommend using the airport in Aquadilla... only 30 minutes away and much less congested than San Juan. The beaches in Rincon are lovely for grabbing some rays but can be rocky. Would suggest Crash Boat beach in Aquadilla for swimming. Steps Beach has fantastic snorkeling but can be treacherous if the water is choppy as there are also a lot of rocks....still in love with Rincon!!!!!"

  • Great Property in Rincon

"My family and I spent a week in Puerto Rico this past July. We split our time between San Juan and Rincon and had a wonderful time. The Rincon property was just as described and the local property manager was extremely helpful. The nearby beach and activities were also in walking distance as described as well. The property owners were great to work with, very responsive, even with my last minute booking. :) Wonderful area, great vacation spot - I think I would like to live there!!!!"

  • Great stay at Casa Bonita

"We enjoyed our relaxing stat at Casa Bonita. It's description was just what we we were looking for. The covered patio was a joy for one rainy day. We had everything we need to prepare some full meals. The rooms were nice and clean, well maintained and comfortable. It was just a short walk down the beach for a local restaurant/bar, located right on the beach. The manager of the property Allison was very friendly and helpful for any questions we had (restaurants, things to do). She directed us to a coffee plantation, which we had on our list of things we wanted to do. It was sandrafarms.com. We visited with the owner Israel Gonzalez his wife Sandra was not there at the time. He took us in his home and shared stories and coffee. It was a very personal tour of there farm. It was quite a drive to get there, but we felt it was worth the trip. We took long walks on the beaches everyday. The beaches were very clean and not crowded. We found a spot walking south on the beach that sold fresh fish by local fishermen. You need to go between noon and 2 PM to find them. It is the area were there are several fishing boats pulled up on the beach (three to six boats). Our stay and area was not like a resort area, but a quiet neighborhood and enjoyable. Great place for two to three couples or a family.d"
