  • Great proximity to every activity!

"My husband and I took our 4 children-20,18,15,12 to the Riley's place for 2 weeks. It was an awesome vacation! We liked being able to walk to the beach everyday! The waves were the biggest we've ever been in! Yet, small enough to play in. We surfed, did 2 hikes at the rainforest, kayaked the bio-bay, visited Old San Juan, and snorkeled at Tamarindo beach on the island of Culebra. Alana and her mother Bobbie, who lives next door were very helpful and hospitable."

  • Loved our stay at Aquatika

"We loved our recent visit to Puerto Rico and Aquatika! The owner Rolando was wonderful to work with and I would recommend this unit to anyone. The unit: Clean, spacious, as good or better than photos. There were plenty of towels, well-stocked kitchen, boogie boards and pool toys. Air conditioning in the bedrooms was nice, and the rest of the apartment had a good cross-breeze when the windows were opened up. Loved that roof terrace!!! This unit is towards the front of the complex not too far from the beach. Comfortable beds and the extra half bath upstairs was a plus. Aquatika: Very quiet, not many people around during the week, with only a few more on Sunday. Maintenance crew seemed to rake the beach and clean the pools every morning. Landscaping on ground was lovely. Kiddie pool with slide and fountains was only turned on on Sunday the week we were there. Many times we had a pool or hot tub all to ourselves, other times we shared with other renters, several of whom we return visitors to Aquatika. I would love to be a return visitor sometime!! Also, security seemed very tight - our group of 4 women felt very safe here. The beach at Aquatika was nice, a couple of days it was fairly calm and a couple of days it was a little rougher and we could attempt to boogie board. Loiza: We did not really spend any time in Loiza, but we found the location to be a good home base for visiting Old San Juan, Pinones, Luquillo, and Fajardo. Loiza is only 10 minutes or so off Highway 3 where you will find lots of chains (Wal-mart, Walgreens, Burger King, etc). We we very happy with our choice to stay just east of San Juan."

  • Perfect family spring break getaway

"We stayed here for a week and had a wonderful time. Our children are 10 and 8. The house was perfectly located near the beach. House was clean and was lit up when we arrived. Aguadilla is a great surf town. We stopped at grocery store for food and had breakfast and nightcaps on the awesome rooftop deck with ocean views. We packed lunches and beer in a cooler each day and headed to Jobos beach. The,beach was beauTiful. Water so clear and we had so much fun collecting sea glass. We went on a 2 hour horseback back riding tour at Tropical Trail rides. The ride and scenery was beautiful. The weather was 85 and sunny every day. We rented a car and took a trip to el yunque rainforest in San Juan. It was a 2 hour drive. After a brutal New York winter this was a great getaway that gives you a feel for the local PR culture. Recommend: Kai, TBC, onetenthai for meals. Ola Lolas for happy hour. Great vacation. Will come Back."

  • Six-Pack from Minnesota

"We are three couples in our sixties, from frozen Minneapolis, Minnesota, U.S.A. Every year or two, we take an excursion, find a rental, and expect a good time. We had a good time, and more, the first week of March, 2015. We found a beautiful condo, as described in the website. We found a location that was central to an island experience that was above expectation. We took the city bus to Old San Juan on two days (#21 or #53 are right there!) Excellent, affordable dining was within a short walk. We enjoyed breakfasts each day in the condo. A two hour walk on the beach each day would leave a salt residue on our eyeglasses. We can understand how the salt air affects so many surfaces. We rented a car for a day around El Yunque, and recommend it to anyone! We don’t consider ourselves “easy to please”, some things were not perfect. Wi-fi did not work the first few days we were there. The kitchen could use more measuring and mixing utensils. But as we settled into the place (and our vacation), we found that whatever we needed was provided."
