  • LaMancha condominium 1007

"The rental is not large but perfect for a couple or small family. The furnishing and property were well maintained and very safe. Location is convenient to many restaurants, grocery store and of course the beach. Vilmari went out of her way to help and checked on things periodically. All in all a wonderful vacation spot."

  • Good Space

"We stayed here 8/12-8/16/2014. The villa provided great space, especially on the balcony. Having the grill was an extra bonus. The condition of the villa can use some cosmetic improvements but overall, we were very comfortable. I wish it was closer to the beach though. The owner, Richard, was great and friendly."

  • Great condo in a fun neighborhood!

"It was easy to find and access the property with John's e-mailed instructions. Very clean and well maintained condo just steps from one of the nicest beaches in the area and a hot spot for bar hopping. Very close to el Yunque which provides a variety of fun outdoor activities and only a half hour from San Juan. Highly recommended."

  • Caribbean Paradise

"This was a perfect get away trip. My husband and I love the ocean but hate the commercialism and crowds. I've worked for the airlines for 30 years and have survived many accommodations, but as long as there was a beach, we were still happy. THIS was wonderful. We had a private pool, private beach and mountain view just outside the back door. We have never had the ocean literally just steps away from our room. It is a little over an hour drive from San Juan airport in the small fishing village of Patillas. You can get fresh fish and seafood from the locals. The Spanish house has been renovated and beautifully decorated by the owners. However you will want to be outside the entire time. It has multiple outdoor dining areas such as a covered porch, pool cabana with restroom and outside bar and grill. It has a fully equipped kitchen with all the comforts of home.(actually better than home) Just stop along the way to pick up food, drinks and other necessities. The owners and staff go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need and that you enjoy your stay. Our only regret is that we didn't get to stay long enough."

Yabucoa Travel Tips

Yabucoa Vacation Rentals in The City of Sugar

Yabucoa may be the perfect destination in Puerto Rico for anyone who has a sweet tooth. The town is also known as "La Ciudad del Azúcar," which means "The City of Sugar." The town got its name because it is in an area that has historically been used to farm sugar cane.

One of the best ways to enjoy a trip to The City of Sugar is to lodge in one of the many lovely Yabucoa vacation rentals that are available. Whether you are looking for a house, a condo or a private villa at one of the local Puerto Rico resorts, there are many Yabucoa vacation rentals to choose from.

A Land of Beaches

In addition to the many beaches in Yabucoa, there are also some points of interest for tourists. The Hacienda Santa Lucía Ruins or "La Casa de la Cultura" (House of Culture) may be of interest. But be sure not to miss out on the sand, water, and sun during your Yabucoa travel.

One of the benefits to staying in a Yabucoa vacation rental or a private house or condo is that you can live like a local. Instead of having to pack up all of your beach gear and haul it out of your hotel room for each day at the beach, you can simply rent a house that is right on the water. This is, especially, convenient for people traveling with kids.

Sugary Delights

Whether you plan to use the kitchen in one of the Yabucoa vacation rentals as a sweets factory or simply as a comfortable space to make meals for your family, you are sure to enjoy the benefit of having your own kitchen. Surprise your family or travel companion with breakfast in bed. Enjoy your own favorite recipes while relaxing in front of an ocean view. And remember that with each meal that you make on your own, you are saving bundles of money by avoiding restaurant prices.
