  • The Property listing says it all - Sanctuary in Paradise - I could not say it any better

"Our family recently stayed in this condo - March of 2015. The condo was perfect for our family of 4 including 2 teenagers. The condo was fully furnished with everything we could possibly need - towels, beach chairs, coolers, ironing board, etc. We lacked nothing. The condo was very charming and the views from the balcony were simply amazing. The owner was friendly and extremely helpful at all times making sure our stay was a comfortable one. The location of the condo was perfect for our specific agenda - we spent time in Old San Juan (30 minutes away), El Yunque Rain Forest (10 minutes away) and took a charter to Culebra from Fajardo (20 minutes away). It was perfect. We were able to walk to La Pared beach for surfing lessons, and in the other direction walk along the shore to the beautiful public Monseratte Luquillo beach as well as the Luquillo Kiosks. We could not have been happier with our stay and would absolutely return here next time."

  • Tranquility

"This was my 9th trip to Puerto Rico for winter vacation, and I have stayed all around the island. My favorite area is the Cabo Rojo area and La Playuela. I stayed with 2 girlfriends and we had a magnificent time. It is in a more remote area, which we loved. You do have to drive everywhere, but everything is close. This was one of the best condos I have stayed in. It was obviously used and loved by the owners, it was so well stocked! I have rented condos where you get a "starter set" which is one roll of toilet paper, and a bar of soap. There was dish soap, laundry soap, shampoo, and spices!! The owners left all the important information about the condo and it was stocked with water toys, chairs, and life jackets, and 2 kayaks. The process for checking in and out was easy. We loved being able to see the sunrise from the bedrooms every morning and the sunset from the front deck at night. The breeze was great, we never used a fan or an air conditioner. The furniture and beds were of a better quality than you sometimes get, like real people lived there. It was very quiet, so if you want a lot of action, this may not be the place for you. We loved it. We enjoyed many of the local beaches, and had a great meal at Annie's in Combate, and some drinks at the next door resort, Bahia Salinas. A couple of downsides were that there was a common laundry area that was coin operated, no lounge chairs down by the pool, and the deck was a shared deck with 3 other condos, which was not a problem for us since we were the only ones there. There was no outside eating area. Nevertheless, I would rent this condo again and highly recommend it for others. I give it 5 stars!! Thank you Robert and Mary for sharing your home with us."

  • PERFECT FAMILY VACATION

"We spent a perfect week in this lovely beach house. The house is conveniently located in a gated community full of custom beach houses, next door to the Ritz Carlton Dorado Beach Reserve. My husband and our three children met my parents there. An ocean view was #1 on our list of requirements for our Puerto Rico vacation. The house is spacious, beautifully decorated and well equipped. The entire back wall opens up to a large terrace, with dream views of the ocean and adjacent beach. A perfect spot for watching sunrises and sunsets! Diane gives new meaning to the phrase "Mi casa es su casa." We felt like we were honored guests in her home, not just renters. The children, ages 15, 13 and 10, made good use of the kayaks, boogie boards and paddle board available to us. In addition to the beach, we spent a day touring Old San Juan, surfed at Jobos Beach in Isabela, and golfed at a nearby course. We enjoyed several of the local restaurants, sampling comida criolla. We all agreed this was one of our best vacations ever! Five stars!"

  • Great Vacation!

"We had a great time at Aquatika! William was very helpful. William met us at our car rental and we followed him to Aquatika, taking us by the grocery store on the way! The condo is beautiful, clean and well stocked with many extras, like coffee filters, spices, detergents, beach towels, and toiletries. We had 7 people in our group and we fit very comfortably in the condo, plenty of room for all of us! The grounds are beautiful, looks just like the pictures! The condo is just steps from the pool and beach. The location was perfect for what we wanted to do. We spend some time in San Juan, the rain forest and took a ferry out to Veiques. This location is no more than a 45 minute drive to everything we wanted to do. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone else!"

Yabucoa Travel Tips

Yabucoa Vacation Rentals in The City of Sugar

Yabucoa may be the perfect destination in Puerto Rico for anyone who has a sweet tooth. The town is also known as "La Ciudad del Azúcar," which means "The City of Sugar." The town got its name because it is in an area that has historically been used to farm sugar cane.

One of the best ways to enjoy a trip to The City of Sugar is to lodge in one of the many lovely Yabucoa vacation rentals that are available. Whether you are looking for a house, a condo or a private villa at one of the local Puerto Rico resorts, there are many Yabucoa vacation rentals to choose from.

A Land of Beaches

In addition to the many beaches in Yabucoa, there are also some points of interest for tourists. The Hacienda Santa Lucía Ruins or "La Casa de la Cultura" (House of Culture) may be of interest. But be sure not to miss out on the sand, water, and sun during your Yabucoa travel.

One of the benefits to staying in a Yabucoa vacation rental or a private house or condo is that you can live like a local. Instead of having to pack up all of your beach gear and haul it out of your hotel room for each day at the beach, you can simply rent a house that is right on the water. This is, especially, convenient for people traveling with kids.

Sugary Delights

Whether you plan to use the kitchen in one of the Yabucoa vacation rentals as a sweets factory or simply as a comfortable space to make meals for your family, you are sure to enjoy the benefit of having your own kitchen. Surprise your family or travel companion with breakfast in bed. Enjoy your own favorite recipes while relaxing in front of an ocean view. And remember that with each meal that you make on your own, you are saving bundles of money by avoiding restaurant prices.
