"My family and I enjoyed a beautiful week in this lovely oceanfront condo. It is tastefully furnished and has everything that you would need for a comfortable visit. We especially enjoyed the balcony. Puerto Rico has perfect weather and plenty to do. We appreciated the suggestions from owner. It was easy to get around. Hope to visit again and highly recommend this condo."Guest: Sam and Bonnie Date of Stay: May 2014 Review Submitted: June 17, 2014View listing
"We had such a great time staying at this condo that was beachfront in Luquillo. The area seems slightly sketchy at first glance but we never felt the least bit unsafe and we took the kids (2 and 5 years old) out for a walk every morning and frequently around at night. I cannot emphasize enough how fantastic the view is! Sitting out on the balcony and listening to the waves was one of our favorite things to do. And the surfers were so much fun to watch! The man who watches over the property (Joaquin) was such a great help and even had us over for sangria one afternoon :) The property was clean, reasonably well stocked (had to get some spices and such for cooking, but otherwise plenty of stuff) and it was so nice to have beach toys and chairs to take down to the beach. Luquillo is a great place to stay on the island-close to El Yunque (about a 5 minute drive from the condo), right by the kiosks and the beautiful Monserrate Balneario beach, and about 25 minutes to Fajardo where you can do some really cool boat trips and the biobay. We also loved having Boardriders right next door. It did get a little loud on the weekends, but we always travel with a sound machine so it wasn't a big deal for us!"Guest: Melanie B. "This is a perfect vacation rental. Very comfortable furniture. Makes you feel at home. A/c in every room works perfect. Location is almost perfect. Just a few steps from the main beach and the Rincon Marina. The #1 ranked restaurant on Tripadvisor (La Cambija) is right down the street. All your surf spots are less than 4 miles driving distance on a quick scenic cruise. (Drive past Tres Palmas) Very happy we chose this apt. Will definitely stay again. Thanks!"Guest: Rocky Date of Stay: December 2014 Review Submitted: December 17, 2014View listing
"I spent my yearly vacation in San Juan and wanted to find a place that I could make some meals, have my own space and hopefully have a pool. Well this place was beyond my expectations. The Security Guards were friendly and helpful especially for a single lady that doesn't speak Spanish. The pool was my favorite as not that many people used it and was so refreshing in the morning, afternoon and night as I used it quite a bit. Super close to all types of restaurants, bus line and taxi's are close or a call away to take you anywhere. Nothing quite like sitting on the balcony watching the sun rise and enjoying breakfast while reading a book. I highly recommend this place."Guest: Jody B. Yabucoa Travel Tips
Yabucoa Vacation Rentals in The City of Sugar
Yabucoa may be the perfect destination in Puerto Rico for anyone who has a sweet tooth. The town is also known as "La Ciudad del Azúcar," which means "The City of Sugar." The town got its name because it is in an area that has historically been used to farm sugar cane.
One of the best ways to enjoy a trip to The City of Sugar is to lodge in one of the many lovely Yabucoa vacation rentals that are available. Whether you are looking for a house, a condo or a private villa at one of the local Puerto Rico resorts, there are many Yabucoa vacation rentals to choose from.
A Land of Beaches
In addition to the many beaches in Yabucoa, there are also some points of interest for tourists. The Hacienda Santa Lucía Ruins or "La Casa de la Cultura" (House of Culture) may be of interest. But be sure not to miss out on the sand, water, and sun during your Yabucoa travel.
One of the benefits to staying in a Yabucoa vacation rental or a private house or condo is that you can live like a local. Instead of having to pack up all of your beach gear and haul it out of your hotel room for each day at the beach, you can simply rent a house that is right on the water. This is, especially, convenient for people traveling with kids.
Whether you plan to use the kitchen in one of the Yabucoa vacation rentals as a sweets factory or simply as a comfortable space to make meals for your family, you are sure to enjoy the benefit of having your own kitchen. Surprise your family or travel companion with breakfast in bed. Enjoy your own favorite recipes while relaxing in front of an ocean view. And remember that with each meal that you make on your own, you are saving bundles of money by avoiding restaurant prices.
