  • Perfect retreat to enjoy the beach, rainforest and everything in between!

"My husband and I honeymooned for six nights in the Fajardo region, exploring the local culture, Luquillo Beach, El Yunque and nearby Culebra Island (via boat tour). We were appreciative of the breathtaking views from the rental as well as the care taken to furnish and decorate the interior with bright colors and appealing artwork. The kitchen was adequately stocked with appliances/cookware needed to prepare several meals during our stay. We also really enjoyed the natural sea breeze that flowed throughout the rental, keeping it cool enough during the day time so as not to miss the lack of air conditioning (the window unit in the bedroom kept the bedroom plenty cool). We had a rental car, and everything was conveniently located close by. Ralph's supermarket and other stores (for clothes, shoes, etc.) were about a 10-15 minute drive. Overall, we were very pleased with our rental. The only issue we had was the elevator. It was slow to arrive at the 23rd floor and we waited a bit on the ground level for the elevator to take us up. So just plan to wait a good few minutes for it before heading out, or when getting back from your day of adventure! Thank you Zoveida for a lovely stay!"

  • Beautiful views, great price

"This space has an amazing view. It was clean. It is old and a little rough around the edges but for the space and price it is worth it. It is tucked away in the beautiful mountains so plan on driving about an hour everywhere. We felt safe and the guards at the entrance were friendly. We walked to the nearby beach although it is not for swimming it still is beautiful. Due to the fact that it is tucked into the mountains do expect to hear many nature sounds. Air is only circulated by open windows which at night gets a little loud. The air conditioner in the master bedroom works great but is loud. If you are looking for a true Puerto Rico experience this offers it. You aren't city living at this place, which we loved. Bring extra bedding. Not a lot of kitchen appliances so don't plan on making big meals. Stock up on toilet paper and paper towels. Make sure and bring your own beach towels. Hot water works great for shower time. Truly, for the views and price you can't find anything better. Wifi works good. Cable TV is nice. We stayed for 8 nights. We are a family of 6. One room had 3 twin beds. One room had futon and full bed. Master had queen bed, light bedding on all beds so bring some extra. 2 bathrooms. 2 balconies. Main balcony is off of family room and is good size."

  • Balcony Heaven!

"This was our 1st trip to PR; my husband and I had a glorious 9 days. The apt. was 1st rate, near sights, the ferry, and everything we needed. It is in the only building in the Penamar complex with a direct view of the ocean. The stunning view from the balcony, accurately represented in the photos, looks straight out to Culebra in the distance and there was usually a cool breeze from the trade winds. We really enjoyed sleeping with the windows open and, although there is no beach in the immediate vicinity, we could hear the surf from the apartment in the quiet of the night. The apt. is on the 2d floor and very accessible to the parking spaces, which are two tandem spaces, so it is easy to get to the apartment without taking the elevator. Luis "Tony" was very responsive and easy to deal with. There was a little confusion on our arrival because we arrived late at night and only had Luis' daytime contact information. For later arrivals, we would recommend making sure to have all phone numbers and emails and a plan for how to get keys. The security person contacted the owner when we arrived and he sent someone right over to let us in, give us keys and offer some pointers about the apartment. We never had to wait for the security person to enter the complex. The apt was clean and well stocked with folding chairs, beach chairs, coolers, towels, tennis rackets and balls, kids' toys. The owner told us there were only a few starter supplies, but the apt. actually had many condiments, including olive oil & balsamic vinegar, paper goods such as towel paper, garbage bags, dish soap, laundry detergent, and toiletries such as suntan lotion and moisturizers. Some of these items appear to have been left by prior tenants so what is there might be different over time. We recommend checking the supplies before grocery shopping; there is a Walmart in Fajardo, which is open 24/7, so it is very easy to pick up what you need regardless of when you arrive. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable; didn't use the other 2 bedrooms. The apt is nicely furnished, with a gorgeous comfortable sectional couch. The table in the eating area is bar height. We would have preferred a lower table, but we got used to it by the end of our stay. Favorite beach-Seven Seas-5 minutes away. Fav restaurant-Ole Lelolai up the street. Always felt safe and very comfortable. All complex amenities excellent and uncrowded. We can't wait to return. Thanks, Tony!!!"

  • Great Condo

"We stayed at Mark's Condo for three days. The location is great. Walking distance to restaurants and the beach. The Condo was very clean and looked just like the photos. The view was amazing from the balcony. We were there at the end of the busy time so it was very quite. Always had the pool to ourself in the afternoon. The walk to the beach was less that 5 min. If you love surfing or just like to watch Rincon is the place to go. The Wi Fi was great and so was the satellite tv. Important if you are traveling with teenagers! Checking in was a breeze after we found the place. A little tricky in the dark. We were lost and I called Mark's caretaker. I apologize I don't remember Mark's care taker's name. He figured out where we were. Met us on the side of the mountain and drove us to the condo. Defiantly we be visiting Rincon again!"
