"I spent a week there with my girlfriend. The view is one of the best in Rincon. There is a great pool there that nobody really uses. Had it to ourselves whenever we wanted. There is also a great trail that leads down to the lighthouse and beaches right behind the house.it really has one of the best locations there is in rincon. I have been going to the area for over twenty years. Ty the owner was more than accommodating. He is very helpful and more than happy to help out in any way he can. It is a perfect spot for a couple or some guys surfing down there. Close to any surfbreaks. Can walk to almost any break in Rincon within ten minutes. Thanks ty for being so accommodating. We will be back for sure. Ryan and Andrea"Guest: Ryan Date of Stay: January 2014 Review Submitted: January 9, 2014View listing
"This vacation home is absolutely beautiful! My family of 6 had plenty of room to spread out, as well as many living spaces to come together. The interior decorating is amazing-loved the details and colors. The linens and bath towels were a very nice quality and a happy welcome after a day of sun and lots of swimming. The pool, patios, outdoor living areas and gardens were perfect. The owners and managers put a lot of care into this property and all were super kind to us. The house manager, Ali, gave us great recommendations of restaurants and things to do. Plus, the neighbor, Annette, was super sweet to greet and check-in on us. Many thanks for a lovely first trip to Rincon, but not our last! (Plan to schedule another trip with my girlfriends;)"Guest: Jill Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: September 5, 2014View listing
"Our family - husband, wife, daughter (14 yrs.), son (11 yrs.) - recently spent 6 nights at this condo. We had a great stay! The location was perfect for us...close enough that we could drive to the attractions we wanted to visit yet secluded enough that we felt we were truly getting away. The condo and grounds are very well maintained, and the gated access to the complex (with security guards) provided a nice sense of security. We had a rental car, so we made day trips to the sites we wanted to visit: Toro Verde Adventure Park (~1.5 hours), El Yunque Rain Forest (10 minutes), Luquillo Beach and Kiosks (10 minutes), Old San Juan (~30 minutes), Laguna Grande (~30 minutes). Mari was great before the trip. She answered all of my questions and was very responsive to my emails and phone calls. She even mailed us tourism booklets and provided directions to the condo from the airport along with recommendations for restaurants and local grocery stores. The condo itself was very clean and is stocked with pretty much everything you need - pots/pans, beach toys and chairs, towels, and even detergent for the washing machine. Our kids especially loved using the boogie boards at the beach. Overall, this place was even better than advertised. A definite thumbs up!"Guest: Kevin Date of Stay: March 2014 Review Submitted: March 31, 2014View listing
"This house on the water was a bargain for the view and location. The owner and his father were very responsive to us and accommodating. We had a problem with the AC freezing up and they came right over to fix it. It was hot outside of the bedrooms, but we knew to expect that from the other reviews. It is very loud on the weekend- earplugs/fan for white noise a must. This house is a great location for all the excursions we went on- whether to San Juan or to the southern coast. We did get to view a concert at the beach from out balcony Monday night which was an added bonus. We never actually went to the "beach"- 5 minute walk- but rather stayed at our area in front on the house. IF you love seaglass like I do- you will be amazed at what you can collect! Every wave brings a few pieces. If we ever go back to Puerto Rico- we will definately stay there!"Guest: Sailor Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: June 29, 2014View listing
Puerto Rico Travel Tips
Visitors to Puerto Rico Vacation Rentals
Puerto Rico is a vibrant Caribbean island travel destination. It is a place where you can enjoy beautiful beaches, fine dining, a wide variety of water sports and a number of nature attractions. People who generally travel to Puerto Rico are attracted by the persistent sunshine and tropical island paradise. Depending on if you enjoy the vibrant resort-style vacation or something more remote and quiet, you can choose which part of the island you want to stay on. Relax on the beaches during the day and then hit the nightspots for some dancing in the evenings.
Best Time of Year to Visit Puerto Rico Villas
The most popular travel season to Puerto Rico is between December and April. During this time, visitors can expect hot sunny days with very little rainfall. In general, this is considered to be the dry season, although occasional rain showers do still occur. Another reason that this is a popular time of year to visit is that the humidity levels are lower. The warm weather also attracts many visitors from New York City, Boston and Chicago who want to escape the winter freeze. In general, there is little seasonal variation in the temperature in Puerto Rico. The seasons are more often defined by the humidity and rainfall. From May through October, the amount of rainfall increases, making the air muggy and sticky. This makes it feel as though it is much hotter. From July to October, tropical storms sometimes hit the islands, bringing heavy rainfall and strong winds. This is typically the low tourist season in Puerto Rico.
Getting to Puerto Rico Resort Rentals
The main airport on Puerto Rico is located just nine miles from San Juan. The Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport hosts frequent international flights from North America, Europe, South America and neighboring Caribbean destinations. As a U.S. foreign territory, flights from America are viewed as regional rather than international flights. San Juan is a major travel hub in the Caribbean for travelers from the United States. There are regular commercial flights from most major cities, including Miami, New York City, Atlanta and Houston. If you cannot find a direct flight connection from your hometown, you may consider finding flights that route via one of these main travel hubs. In total, there are 29 airports in Puerto Rico, most of them hosting regional and domestic flights. Getting around the island is fairly easy. There is a metro rail system that serves the greater San Juan Metropolitan area. It is also relatively easy to hire a car to explore the island. Be aware that traffic can get pretty congested in urban areas.
