  • Felt like our own private bit of paradise

"My family and I had such a wonderful time! The housekeeper lives right across the street, he was wonderful, answered whenever we needed him. My only complaint/suggestion is that the website pictures do not do justice as to how beautiful the condo and the location really is. The restaurant right next door has great food, plays music (with salsa classes) on Friday nite which was a bit noisy, but all quiet rest of the days. Even the storm wasn't a bother, we still had a blast watching mother nature show off and the crazy surfers. The condo is right on the beach, the famous La Pared. Location is very secure. Owner has the condo fully stocked for what one needs in the kitchen and bathroom and even leaves boogie boards and beach stuff to use. Easy access to all major highways, easy to get to any spot. Supermarket 2 blocks away. Casino up the street and the entrance to the rainforest El Yunque is less than a mile away. All the neighbors and locals very friendly and welcoming. You will love this place, we will most definitely return."

  • Family escape

"The property description and photos were quite accurate. The apartment was beautiful and the view was spectacular. The balcony was one of our favorite spots. It had a great view of the ocean and was where we liked to have our morning coffee. The owners were very helpful with our many questions before and during our stay. When we arrived we were met at the property and everything we needed to know was explained. They had travel information available for us in the property. They also gave us some touring suggestions before we arrived. The security deposit was returned as stated without any issues. The beach was within a short walking distance as well as several restaurants and casinos. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for the comforts of home without staying in a hotel. It is spacious, beautiful, and the owners were great. We would return to this property without question."

  • Tropical Paradise

"A group of four other college friends and myself stayed here for a week in May. This location was absolutely perfect for us and the view was breathtaking! We found lots to do in the Isabella/Aquadilla area (within an hour we found a beautiful waterfall, the Window Cave, and the Arecibo Observaotry). We were also just a short stroll from Ola Lola's Garden Bar and the locals were extremely friendly. There are plenty of gorgeous beaches close by and we were only a three minute walk from our favorite one! The apartment was in wonderful condition and it was fully stocked with anything we needed (tv, internet, stove, microwave, air conditioning, coffee pot, cooking untensiles, etc.). With the two queen beds and two futons were all able to sleep very comfortably. We looked at other rental properties but none were as well kept and perfectly located as this one. I would definitly visit there again and recommend this property to anyone."

Puerto Rico Travel Tips

Visitors to Puerto Rico Vacation Rentals

Puerto Rico is a vibrant Caribbean island travel destination. It is a place where you can enjoy beautiful beaches, fine dining, a wide variety of water sports and a number of nature attractions. People who generally travel to Puerto Rico are attracted by the persistent sunshine and tropical island paradise. Depending on if you enjoy the vibrant resort-style vacation or something more remote and quiet, you can choose which part of the island you want to stay on. Relax on the beaches during the day and then hit the nightspots for some dancing in the evenings.

Best Time of Year to Visit Puerto Rico Villas

The most popular travel season to Puerto Rico is between December and April. During this time, visitors can expect hot sunny days with very little rainfall. In general, this is considered to be the dry season, although occasional rain showers do still occur. Another reason that this is a popular time of year to visit is that the humidity levels are lower. The warm weather also attracts many visitors from New York City, Boston and Chicago who want to escape the winter freeze. In general, there is little seasonal variation in the temperature in Puerto Rico. The seasons are more often defined by the humidity and rainfall. From May through October, the amount of rainfall increases, making the air muggy and sticky. This makes it feel as though it is much hotter. From July to October, tropical storms sometimes hit the islands, bringing heavy rainfall and strong winds. This is typically the low tourist season in Puerto Rico.

Getting to Puerto Rico Resort Rentals

The main airport on Puerto Rico is located just nine miles from San Juan. The Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport hosts frequent international flights from North America, Europe, South America and neighboring Caribbean destinations. As a U.S. foreign territory, flights from America are viewed as regional rather than international flights. San Juan is a major travel hub in the Caribbean for travelers from the United States. There are regular commercial flights from most major cities, including Miami, New York City, Atlanta and Houston. If you cannot find a direct flight connection from your hometown, you may consider finding flights that route via one of these main travel hubs. In total, there are 29 airports in Puerto Rico, most of them hosting regional and domestic flights. Getting around the island is fairly easy. There is a metro rail system that serves the greater San Juan Metropolitan area. It is also relatively easy to hire a car to explore the island. Be aware that traffic can get pretty congested in urban areas.

Caribbean Vacation Rentals in Puerto Rico

There are some definite advantages to renting a vacation home in Puerto Rico. If you have a large group of friends traveling together or are planning a wedding, you can secure a villa that is spacious enough to accommodate everyone. You can wake up each morning in the privacy of your own home and enjoy breakfast out on the deck. Many of the villas are fully serviced with housekeepers who can take care of all the household tasks including cleaning, shopping and preparing meals. Most of the vacation homes are beautifully furnished with stylish finishes and top-of-the-range appliances. Multiple bedrooms and bathrooms ensure that everyone in your travel party can enjoy a level of privacy. Enjoy a vacation on your own time where you don't need to get up in time for breakfast if you don't want to. It is the best way to enjoy vacation on this tropical island.
