"Our group has rented this property two years in a row and I we hope to continue this trend. Great house, very clean, great views, a perfect place for a surf trip! Plenty of comfortable beds for the entire group to have their individual space. Kitchen is perfect for anything from a quick breakfast to a full dinner. I have rented a few other places in Rincon and this place is by far the best I have been too. The owner is very accommodating with any questions you may have and offers great advice and local knowledge. We are looking forward to coming down to PR again....and staying at the this great house!"Guest: cjv Date of Stay: January 2012 Review Submitted: February 27, 2012View listing
"Just stayed here for 3 nights. This was the last part of our stay in PR after a family wedding in Ponce earlier in our vacation. We were looking for a place to stay that could fit us all (6 adults) in one location, and give us a base to explore the NE part of PR. This villa was perfect! 10 minutes away from El Yunque, 10 minutes away from the Kiosks in Luquillo, 15-20 minutes from Fajardo and other parts of NE. Eva and Jose are great, very friendly, very responsive, and very helpful. We booked this last minute and they accommodated us with no problems (at least that we knew of on our side, hopefully it didn't cause them much trouble readying the property or coming to meet us on short notice :) ). Because our stay was short, we didn't have much time to explore the resort and opted to explore the local areas of PR instead, thus I can't comment much on the resort itself. We did check it out one evening for dinner there and tested our luck at the casino for a bit. It seemed to have many of the amenities you'd expect of a great resort. The last night we fired up the BBQ and made a great feast for the family. It was a great way to celebrate the final night in PR for all of us. Amazing how the place had everything we needed! The villa has an amazing view!! The large balcony has plenty of room for 6 to sit and relax and enjoy the view and the ocean breeze after a day of exploring. The blender works great for mixing your rum cocktail of choice, which also improves the enjoyment of the spectacular view!"Guest: Ory S. "This house was perfect for my friends and I. Being a bunch of girls, we were very impressed with the house. The interior of the house is very spacious, relatively modern, and cozy. There were plenty of beach and shower towels for all of us. We had a total of nine girls and fit perfectly. Awesome location: Steps Beach is very close to the house along with surf spots such as Marias and Domes. Yes, it's on a 413 but it is in a very convienent area with a coffee shop less than half a mile up the rode. The porch was the best part. Very big and comfy. Everyone we would wake up and sit on the porch and in the afternoon watch the sunset. The family downstairs was very sweet and had an adorable dog. Always made sure the gate was shut! Overall, we had an awesome time in a wonderful beach house. My friends and I were more than pleased and Luis, the owner, was more than willing to help and accommodate my friends and I throughout our stay. Thanks again Luis! Keep up the good work!"Guest: Annie Date of Stay: March 2014 Review Submitted: March 9, 2014View listing
"This is my 4th stay and my second at this particular apt. I have never been disappointed and plan on staying AGAIN. The friendliest staff and the view is spectacular. Everything one needs is accessible (walking distance) and even the casinos are down the street. Beaches are clean and beautiful and so is the swimming pool. I have friends that live there in PR and they loved it!!! HIGHLY recommended to anyone who plans on visiting PR."Guest: Smiley Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: July 29, 2014View listing
Puerto Rico Travel Tips
Visitors to Puerto Rico Vacation Rentals
Puerto Rico is a vibrant Caribbean island travel destination. It is a place where you can enjoy beautiful beaches, fine dining, a wide variety of water sports and a number of nature attractions. People who generally travel to Puerto Rico are attracted by the persistent sunshine and tropical island paradise. Depending on if you enjoy the vibrant resort-style vacation or something more remote and quiet, you can choose which part of the island you want to stay on. Relax on the beaches during the day and then hit the nightspots for some dancing in the evenings.
Best Time of Year to Visit Puerto Rico Villas
The most popular travel season to Puerto Rico is between December and April. During this time, visitors can expect hot sunny days with very little rainfall. In general, this is considered to be the dry season, although occasional rain showers do still occur. Another reason that this is a popular time of year to visit is that the humidity levels are lower. The warm weather also attracts many visitors from New York City, Boston and Chicago who want to escape the winter freeze. In general, there is little seasonal variation in the temperature in Puerto Rico. The seasons are more often defined by the humidity and rainfall. From May through October, the amount of rainfall increases, making the air muggy and sticky. This makes it feel as though it is much hotter. From July to October, tropical storms sometimes hit the islands, bringing heavy rainfall and strong winds. This is typically the low tourist season in Puerto Rico.
Getting to Puerto Rico Resort Rentals
The main airport on Puerto Rico is located just nine miles from San Juan. The Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport hosts frequent international flights from North America, Europe, South America and neighboring Caribbean destinations. As a U.S. foreign territory, flights from America are viewed as regional rather than international flights. San Juan is a major travel hub in the Caribbean for travelers from the United States. There are regular commercial flights from most major cities, including Miami, New York City, Atlanta and Houston. If you cannot find a direct flight connection from your hometown, you may consider finding flights that route via one of these main travel hubs. In total, there are 29 airports in Puerto Rico, most of them hosting regional and domestic flights. Getting around the island is fairly easy. There is a metro rail system that serves the greater San Juan Metropolitan area. It is also relatively easy to hire a car to explore the island. Be aware that traffic can get pretty congested in urban areas.
