"I was a little worried booking online and had read all the precious reviews which helped put me at ease with my decision on renting this property.... Well let me just tell you how amazing this home is. The pictures don't do any justice to this house. Endless views of 3 neighboring beaches, private home and you feel like your at a luxurious resort. My family did not want to leave at the end of the week. Monica, the owner was very nice and attentive and always replied promptly to my emails. We will definitely take into consideration this home next time we visit "la Isla del Encanto.""Guest: Jeanette Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: August 11, 2014View listing
"I can't say enough good things about this condo, as well as the owner Francisco and the manager Euniz! They were both incredibly helpful and gracious. It is the perfect location - close to the rainforest, biobay, Luquillo Beach and the marina in Fajardo. If you want to drive into San Juan, it is only about 30-40 minutes away. The condo itself is right on the beach and sits between the two pools on the property. It has all the amenities that you will need and is very clean and well-organized. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back!"Guest: Ellen C. Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: August 8, 2014View listing
"Aquatika resort was a very memorable experience. We will definitely be returning. William the owner was very hospitable he made us feel right at home. The unit was very clean and it had everything you would need just like if you were at home. My boys enjoyed the game room while we enjoyed the private terrace at night time. Aquatika was perfectly centered from all of our excursions. Old San Juan 40 min, El Yunque rainforest 30 min,and our Snorkeling tour 50 min. I would definitely recommend William place to my friends and family. THANK YOU VERY MUCH WILLIAM !!! Until next time. Ben Perez and family"Guest: Benjamin P. "This is our second vacation renting this house. We get a big group of 5-6 families and rent 3 houses that are next to each other. The location is just perfect for us - situated right on the beach, quiet morning walks along the beach, and colourful local life. Only 20 minutes from public Crash Boat beach and beautiful Step Beach. Don't forget to visit local Panederia Eileen. Try the ribs and guava pastry. We sure will be coming again."Guest: isarkisov Date of Stay: April 2014 Review Submitted: May 5, 2014View listing
Puerto Rico Travel Tips
Visitors to Puerto Rico Vacation Rentals
Puerto Rico is a vibrant Caribbean island travel destination. It is a place where you can enjoy beautiful beaches, fine dining, a wide variety of water sports and a number of nature attractions. People who generally travel to Puerto Rico are attracted by the persistent sunshine and tropical island paradise. Depending on if you enjoy the vibrant resort-style vacation or something more remote and quiet, you can choose which part of the island you want to stay on. Relax on the beaches during the day and then hit the nightspots for some dancing in the evenings.
Best Time of Year to Visit Puerto Rico Villas
The most popular travel season to Puerto Rico is between December and April. During this time, visitors can expect hot sunny days with very little rainfall. In general, this is considered to be the dry season, although occasional rain showers do still occur. Another reason that this is a popular time of year to visit is that the humidity levels are lower. The warm weather also attracts many visitors from New York City, Boston and Chicago who want to escape the winter freeze. In general, there is little seasonal variation in the temperature in Puerto Rico. The seasons are more often defined by the humidity and rainfall. From May through October, the amount of rainfall increases, making the air muggy and sticky. This makes it feel as though it is much hotter. From July to October, tropical storms sometimes hit the islands, bringing heavy rainfall and strong winds. This is typically the low tourist season in Puerto Rico.
Getting to Puerto Rico Resort Rentals
The main airport on Puerto Rico is located just nine miles from San Juan. The Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport hosts frequent international flights from North America, Europe, South America and neighboring Caribbean destinations. As a U.S. foreign territory, flights from America are viewed as regional rather than international flights. San Juan is a major travel hub in the Caribbean for travelers from the United States. There are regular commercial flights from most major cities, including Miami, New York City, Atlanta and Houston. If you cannot find a direct flight connection from your hometown, you may consider finding flights that route via one of these main travel hubs. In total, there are 29 airports in Puerto Rico, most of them hosting regional and domestic flights. Getting around the island is fairly easy. There is a metro rail system that serves the greater San Juan Metropolitan area. It is also relatively easy to hire a car to explore the island. Be aware that traffic can get pretty congested in urban areas.
