  • Great location on the beach!

"We stayed at this condo for 6 nights post cruise. Gaby, the owner, was lovely and great to work with. She answered questions via email and met us at the condo. She was flexible with our arrival and departure times which we appreciated. The security deposit was returned within days of us returning home. The location is ideal, beach is beautiful. We rented chairs and umbrella on the beach for $18 ($4 each for lounge chairs, $10 for a big beach umbrella) most days. The condo buildings are next to the Intercontinental Hotel and across from many restaurants and places to get groceries. Couldn't be more ideal. The Coral Beach are among the older condos on the beach but have the biggest pool and amazing security. The condo is actually perpendicular to the beach so only the very corner rooms are actually beachfront. At night if curtains weren't closed and you have the light on you are in full view of the apartments directly across. However, there is a good side view of the beach from the balcony or if you are close to the window. The air conditioning worked well but we preferred to have the windows open. The tv's had quite a few English channels including the major networks, CNN and children's stations. Internet worked well while we were there. The kitchen seemed well equipped although we did not really cook! There is a washer and dryer which we used a few times. The dryer vents into the condo with hot humid air though so we only used it when we had the sliding door open. Bring your own laundry detergent and dryer sheets. The king bed was very comfortable, had a good quality mattress with nice sheets. We slept great. Nice bedroom furniture. The comforter provided was really heavy. It might have been nice to have had a lighter weight bedspread or blanket as an alternative. There was not a bedside clock. Lots of storage. A walkin closet had hangers, shelves and space to store suitcases. Beach toys and basketball provided. The living room area was spacious but sparsely furnished. The futon was clean, looked OK but was not comfortable for 2 people to stretch out with a book or watching TV. If you only wanted an extra sleeping space it would be fine. A regular sofa and a comfy armchair would have been nice. This would be our only reason for not returning. We brought our our own beach towels, the ones provided are small (more like bath towels). We had a great week and would recommend the condo and owner wholeheartedly."

  • Loved this rental

"I stayed here in March 2014 for a week with a party of 6. If you're curious about the condo itself, the pictures do not do it justice. It is well kept, extremely clean, and updated. I was pleasantly surprised at the size as I expected it to be smaller based on the pictures. The view is incredible and the balcony was large enough for all six of us to comfortably sit and watch the waves. The location was perfect. Right in between a few restaurants with less than 5 minutes walking distance. I would highly recommend this property for a visit to Sandy Beach. I hope to visit again soon!"

  • Definitely Paradise and convenient

"My husband and I celebrated our 20th anniversary in Puerto Rico. We had a fabulous time in Fajardo! The location of the condo was directly across from Seven Seas beach, where we spent a lot of time swimming and snorkling and hanging with the locals. The condo is immaculate and had more than enough room for two people. The owner emailed us a list of activities to do in PR and was very available and responsive with everything! My husband and I would love to return someday."

  • A little Costa Rica in Puerto Rico

"We had a fabulous active vacation! A car is a necessity. We spent the new year at this property. It is ideally located close to El Yunque Rainforest, Luquillo Beach, the Marina's snorkeling excursions (Travelers) via a catamaran at Icacos and Bioluminescent bay. The last time I was in a Rainforest in the am and surfing in the afternoon, I was in Costa Rica. Now I know I can do the same without a passport. Surfing at Luquillo was not that easy to find. There are 2-3 entrance's to get to the beach. The surf was clean and knee to waist high. Jesus has a little shop and rents surfboards for $20/2 hour and boogie boards for $10/2 hours. We had a blast! Zoveida's apartment is as advertised. The views of the Carribbean Sea are spectacular from the 23rd floor. You could not ask to stay at a place closer to the snorkeling excursion. I was a little concerned that our 7 yo twins would not be able to snorkel (they are good swimmers). Fortunately, they picked it up and we saw plenty of tropical fish and even saw an octopus! We literally walked from the apartment to the marina in 5 minutes. The snorkeling excursion left ~9:30 am (returned at ~ 3:30 pm). Later that day we joined EcoAdventure at 6 pm (a 7 min car ride) for a kayak of the Bioluminescent Bay. It was very convenient to get back to the condo and relax for a couple of hours between excursions. If I had to do it again, I'd of booked the snorkeling and kayak trips for different days. The only limitations about the stay included that the washer/dryer are located in the basement and the pool and 1 of 2 elevators were under repair (1 functioned normally but it did require some patience). We ate 1 night at Estacion (island service with excellent food -- try the Munchago). On another night we went to El Conquistador (a Waldorf Astoria property). There are multiple restaurants including: hibachi, Chinese, Italian and a Steak house. Without reservations we were seated at 6:30pm at the Chinese restaurant and were satisfied. We were able to open a tab at the bar and rent a pool table. Overall a great night. The only limitation about visiting El Conquistador is that we were unable to validate our parking pass ($25 to valet). The reason we received from the manager was that they outsource the valet to another business."
