  • A DESTINATION IN ITSELF

"My wife and I travel extensively (world-wide), and It's rare that we find an accomodation like this. It is not only convenient to most of the "must see" places in PR, but also a wonderful place to embark upon day trips to the beautiful (formerly) Spanish Virgin Islands of Culebra and Vieques. The beaches, water, snorkling, diving are outstanding. That having been said, we found it hard to tear ourselves from the condo! It's an end unit on a very high floor with lots of windows which afford outstanding views in three directions. The balcony felt like an eagle's perch WITH FAST WIFI. What a great place to escape, and yet keep up. We haven't met Millie, but hope to someday. She's a joy to talk with, and to rent from. We hope to do it again soon. A week wasn't long enough for us to fully explore the area, or especially to enjoy the condo. If you find this one available, don't hesitate to book it."

  • Very good location, convenient and as described -- friendly owner and building staff too

"The apartment is compact but comfortable for 2 people/a couple. We found it easy to get around San Juan whether walking or taking a taxi and the building is close to nearby amenities, such as cafes, bars, restaurants, shops with a supermarket a couple blocks away. We thought the bed was rather comfortable and found the apartment itself well equipped for our 4-night stay. It is a good value vs hotels in the area, so you get what you pay for. The owner, her mom and the building staff were all very helpful and friendly, which was a nice bonus. :)"

  • Peaceful location & Great view!

"My friend and I stayed here for 3 nights in August 2014. The view is spectacular! The bedroom is air conditioned and we slept very well in there. We enjoyed waking up every morning to enjoy some coffee on the balcony. Great location. El Yunque isn't far away either!"

  • Clean, Comfortable, Affordable and Relaxing

"The condo is extremely clean and the complex in general, is very well kept. It was perfect for our family of four. The pool and wifi were perfect for our teenagers after our long days at the beach (which by the way, is across the street). My husband and I enjoyed the balcony everynight. The condo has everything you could ask for and having a washer and dryer was an added convenience. The condo is in a great location too. Close to beach, food and shopping. I especially like the feeling of mixing with the locals as opposed to being in the middle of a tourism hot spot. We can't wait to go back!"

Puerto Rico Travel Tips

Visitors to Puerto Rico Vacation Rentals

Puerto Rico is a vibrant Caribbean island travel destination. It is a place where you can enjoy beautiful beaches, fine dining, a wide variety of water sports and a number of nature attractions. People who generally travel to Puerto Rico are attracted by the persistent sunshine and tropical island paradise. Depending on if you enjoy the vibrant resort-style vacation or something more remote and quiet, you can choose which part of the island you want to stay on. Relax on the beaches during the day and then hit the nightspots for some dancing in the evenings.

Best Time of Year to Visit Puerto Rico Villas

The most popular travel season to Puerto Rico is between December and April. During this time, visitors can expect hot sunny days with very little rainfall. In general, this is considered to be the dry season, although occasional rain showers do still occur. Another reason that this is a popular time of year to visit is that the humidity levels are lower. The warm weather also attracts many visitors from New York City, Boston and Chicago who want to escape the winter freeze. In general, there is little seasonal variation in the temperature in Puerto Rico. The seasons are more often defined by the humidity and rainfall. From May through October, the amount of rainfall increases, making the air muggy and sticky. This makes it feel as though it is much hotter. From July to October, tropical storms sometimes hit the islands, bringing heavy rainfall and strong winds. This is typically the low tourist season in Puerto Rico.

Getting to Puerto Rico Resort Rentals

The main airport on Puerto Rico is located just nine miles from San Juan. The Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport hosts frequent international flights from North America, Europe, South America and neighboring Caribbean destinations. As a U.S. foreign territory, flights from America are viewed as regional rather than international flights. San Juan is a major travel hub in the Caribbean for travelers from the United States. There are regular commercial flights from most major cities, including Miami, New York City, Atlanta and Houston. If you cannot find a direct flight connection from your hometown, you may consider finding flights that route via one of these main travel hubs. In total, there are 29 airports in Puerto Rico, most of them hosting regional and domestic flights. Getting around the island is fairly easy. There is a metro rail system that serves the greater San Juan Metropolitan area. It is also relatively easy to hire a car to explore the island. Be aware that traffic can get pretty congested in urban areas.

Caribbean Vacation Rentals in Puerto Rico

There are some definite advantages to renting a vacation home in Puerto Rico. If you have a large group of friends traveling together or are planning a wedding, you can secure a villa that is spacious enough to accommodate everyone. You can wake up each morning in the privacy of your own home and enjoy breakfast out on the deck. Many of the villas are fully serviced with housekeepers who can take care of all the household tasks including cleaning, shopping and preparing meals. Most of the vacation homes are beautifully furnished with stylish finishes and top-of-the-range appliances. Multiple bedrooms and bathrooms ensure that everyone in your travel party can enjoy a level of privacy. Enjoy a vacation on your own time where you don't need to get up in time for breakfast if you don't want to. It is the best way to enjoy vacation on this tropical island.
