"My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Isabela Beach Court. Very comfortable studio with a nice outdoor patio to relax and enjoy the views. I enjoyed early morning walks on the beach watching the waves crash against the rocks. Great location and close to Crashboat beach!"Guest: David Date of Stay: February 2014 Review Submitted: February 24, 2014View listing
"Thanks to Adam who manages the property we had a great stay. The place is BIG and clean and comfortable for even 10 PPL. The area is spot on to every great restaurants, bars, groceries, and whatever you fancy.. and just like the add states, it is very very very close to the beach. Great location and safe. Adam is very hospitable and knowledgeable. We would book with Adam in the future."Guest: Ian B. Date of Stay: January 2014 Review Submitted: February 20, 2014View listing
"Really nice home in a good location. We were not familiar with the island but wanted to stay a few days away from San Juan, I randomly selected this place and took a chance. We loved the location which is walking distance from what appeared to be the main street in Aguada which had several restaurants to choose from. We did not make use of the beach because when we were around it seemed to be high tide, however just a few blocks away we were able to find the public beach access which had plenty of sand to lay out on. The apartment was clean and spacious. Plenty of extra pillows and blankets if needed. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!"Guest: Amy D. "Elaine From Boston Writes: Our extended family of 7 was enchanted by our lovely bungalow in Las Palmas. The property was justa s it was described and there was plenty of information supplied to operate the home. Every morning as each of us awoke we wandered out of our cool bedrooms and quietly started our day with coffee and our 'first breakfast' by the pool. We spent a lot of time lazing, reading and floating in that space, reconnecting and enjoying each others company. The Beach Club was well worth the $15 price of admission. With lots of space around the pools and bars we played Volleyball, Basketball and rode the water slides like we were kids again...and the beach and ocean waves were only a few paces away for the more adventurous. They gave us towels and put chairs wherever we wanted and there was enough shade under the palms or umbrellas. Don't miss Old San Juan for some local culture and great food. The fort has spectacular views for photo ops and the colorful old buildings are charming. We ate at The Parrot Club and had wonderful Mojitos and local fare. The guys even stopped into a cigar shop for some moonshine and smokes! We did venture off to Loquillo for a day and enjoyed the beach there too. Especially the Kiosks and restaurants on the beach. But mostly the charming Villa Familia was all we needed to unwind and reconnect. It has everything you need. I highly reccomend this property"Guest: Elaine Date of Stay: December 2013 Review Submitted: January 11, 2014View listing
Puerto Rico Travel Tips
Visitors to Puerto Rico Vacation Rentals
Puerto Rico is a vibrant Caribbean island travel destination. It is a place where you can enjoy beautiful beaches, fine dining, a wide variety of water sports and a number of nature attractions. People who generally travel to Puerto Rico are attracted by the persistent sunshine and tropical island paradise. Depending on if you enjoy the vibrant resort-style vacation or something more remote and quiet, you can choose which part of the island you want to stay on. Relax on the beaches during the day and then hit the nightspots for some dancing in the evenings.
Best Time of Year to Visit Puerto Rico Villas
The most popular travel season to Puerto Rico is between December and April. During this time, visitors can expect hot sunny days with very little rainfall. In general, this is considered to be the dry season, although occasional rain showers do still occur. Another reason that this is a popular time of year to visit is that the humidity levels are lower. The warm weather also attracts many visitors from New York City, Boston and Chicago who want to escape the winter freeze. In general, there is little seasonal variation in the temperature in Puerto Rico. The seasons are more often defined by the humidity and rainfall. From May through October, the amount of rainfall increases, making the air muggy and sticky. This makes it feel as though it is much hotter. From July to October, tropical storms sometimes hit the islands, bringing heavy rainfall and strong winds. This is typically the low tourist season in Puerto Rico.
Getting to Puerto Rico Resort Rentals
The main airport on Puerto Rico is located just nine miles from San Juan. The Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport hosts frequent international flights from North America, Europe, South America and neighboring Caribbean destinations. As a U.S. foreign territory, flights from America are viewed as regional rather than international flights. San Juan is a major travel hub in the Caribbean for travelers from the United States. There are regular commercial flights from most major cities, including Miami, New York City, Atlanta and Houston. If you cannot find a direct flight connection from your hometown, you may consider finding flights that route via one of these main travel hubs. In total, there are 29 airports in Puerto Rico, most of them hosting regional and domestic flights. Getting around the island is fairly easy. There is a metro rail system that serves the greater San Juan Metropolitan area. It is also relatively easy to hire a car to explore the island. Be aware that traffic can get pretty congested in urban areas.
