"We are a group of 21 and rented 3 houses. Frankie was great giving us instructions on how to get there and receiving us. We live here in the Island, and being unable to swim at the beach was a downside. Thank God we had a house with a pool, otherwise, it would have not been fun at all specially for the kids. The house was clean and very cute and cozy. The air conditioning unit was not working properly so I couldn't sleep. The rooms have glass windows with no shades, so all the light from outside came through and it was driving me nuts since I need to sleep in the dark. The bed at the master bedroom is way to small, it's more a full size bed than a queen, and hard as concrete so my husband and I were banging each other and I had to go to another bed room which had a foam kind of mattress so I don't know what was worse. My body is still in pain. The fridge was not working properly and our food had to be taken to one of the other houses and have only fruits and water in that fridge. The verandah couldn't be used at all because it had an awful smell. Cats from all around come and urinate the cushions, so the smell was unbearable. This was very disgusting for me since I am very allergic and sensitive to yucky smells. The house has breathtaking views, is very comfortable and good for relaxing. Don't get me wrong, I will rent it again, only if both houses are available, and if the house has all the downsides fixed, otherwise, never again."Guest: Nancy S. "Just wanted to say that this place is everything we wanted and more. Felipe was accept ion ally helpful and the location is perfect for d San Juan . Perfect walking distance to everything and within a block from an excellent restaurant (St. Germans Bistro). We loved the layout of the apartment but would not recommend the loft ladder bedroom Setup for older couples or kids."Guest: Matt Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: June 13, 2014View listing

"My family stayed in this condo, including my husband, myself, my two adult sons, and my mother in law for a week in July. Everything was excellent! There was plenty of space for us to spread out, and the views from the balcony were breathtaking! The condo was clean, and stocked with everything we needed. Amigo's grocery store was just across the street, along with Walgreen's and Baskin and Robins Ice Cream. I was concerned when booking that not having air conditioning in the main living area would be a problem, but Drew was absolutely correct when he said you don't need it! The trade winds were beautiful and kept the condo very comfortable, even in July! All of Drew's recommendations about places to eat and things to do in the area were spot on! All in all, we had a wonderful time, and would definitely rent this condo again in the future!"Guest: LD222 Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: August 9, 2014View listing

Visitors to Puerto Rico Vacation Rentals
Puerto Rico is a vibrant Caribbean island travel destination. It is a place where you can enjoy beautiful beaches, fine dining, a wide variety of water sports and a number of nature attractions. People who generally travel to Puerto Rico are attracted by the persistent sunshine and tropical island paradise. Depending on if you enjoy the vibrant resort-style vacation or something more remote and quiet, you can choose which part of the island you want to stay on. Relax on the beaches during the day and then hit the nightspots for some dancing in the evenings.
Best Time of Year to Visit Puerto Rico Villas
The most popular travel season to Puerto Rico is between December and April. During this time, visitors can expect hot sunny days with very little rainfall. In general, this is considered to be the dry season, although occasional rain showers do still occur. Another reason that this is a popular time of year to visit is that the humidity levels are lower. The warm weather also attracts many visitors from New York City, Boston and Chicago who want to escape the winter freeze. In general, there is little seasonal variation in the temperature in Puerto Rico. The seasons are more often defined by the humidity and rainfall. From May through October, the amount of rainfall increases, making the air muggy and sticky. This makes it feel as though it is much hotter. From July to October, tropical storms sometimes hit the islands, bringing heavy rainfall and strong winds. This is typically the low tourist season in Puerto Rico.
Getting to Puerto Rico Resort Rentals
The main airport on Puerto Rico is located just nine miles from San Juan. The Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport hosts frequent international flights from North America, Europe, South America and neighboring Caribbean destinations. As a U.S. foreign territory, flights from America are viewed as regional rather than international flights. San Juan is a major travel hub in the Caribbean for travelers from the United States. There are regular commercial flights from most major cities, including Miami, New York City, Atlanta and Houston. If you cannot find a direct flight connection from your hometown, you may consider finding flights that route via one of these main travel hubs. In total, there are 29 airports in Puerto Rico, most of them hosting regional and domestic flights. Getting around the island is fairly easy. There is a metro rail system that serves the greater San Juan Metropolitan area. It is also relatively easy to hire a car to explore the island. Be aware that traffic can get pretty congested in urban areas.
