  • Miles of Beautiful Beaches!

"My wife and I stayed here (upstairs) for 9 nights and we loved it. You definitely want to rent a car to enjoy exploring the west coast of PR from this prime location. Rent a small one as parking by the villa is tight but manageable. Teresa’s detailed directions will get you there perfectly. The drive took 2.5 hours from the San Juan airport. Check in was easy. Florimar is right on the water in a beautiful coastal area just minutes from downtown Rincon. You can sit on the balcony or deck and listen to the waves or walk right down the steps to a private beach entrance. Although the water often was just up to the wall right at Florimar, there were miles of beautiful, sandy, virtually uninhabited beaches after just a few minutes walking along the water. Pelicans would dive for fish and a variety of crabs would scurry as we walked. It’s also just minutes by car to other great beaches like Steps, Pools, Spanish Wall, and Crashboat (the best). The upstairs unit is nicely renovated, with a great kitchen, living room (nice flat screen TV and ceiling fan), 2 bathrooms (nice tile shower), and two air conditioned bedrooms. French glass doors lead to the balcony with its panoramic view of the western Caribbean ocean. We had amazing views of both sunrise and sunset! On New Year’s Eve, we sat outside watching and listening to fireworks set off across the island. The downstairs patio/deck was large and the grill worked well. We cooked dinner and ate outside every night at Florimar. The amount of outdoor space was really amazing! We could read and relax in so many different nice spaces! It’s an easy drive into town for groceries (Michael’s is great and try Lucky 13 for breakfast). Very nice guests arrived in the downstairs unit, the day after we got there. Separate entrances and outdoor areas keep things semi-private. There were a few minor negatives, but nothing that would keep us from coming back. I do wish the bed in the master was a little bigger. Also the outdoor lighting for the lower unit shines directly onto the upstairs balcony and into the bedrooms. The coffee maker and outdoor furniture and cushions were pretty worn out, but adequate. Finally, the neighboring guest house has some quirky owners that are pretty picky about parking. Regardless of these modest issues, we highly recommend Florimar if you want to be self sufficient, do our own thing on your own time, and enjoy many private romantic moments in a truly beautiful setting. We definitely hope to go back!"

  • NICE!

"Great location; convenient to Rain Forest, Bioluminescent Bay, horseback riding, beaches, zip-lining (though zip-lining itself was disappointing), a couple of excellent restaurants in Fajardo, ferry to Vieques, and an easy drive from airport and to Old San Juan; friendly security staff; very comfortable and delightfully decorated apartment with great library of books and games. Not one complaint."

  • Great spot with direct view of the ocean!

"We stayed at Playas del Yunque for a low-key bachelorette weekend, and it was perfect. There is a good sized deck that faces the ocean, so you can sit and watch the waves roll in day or night. There is also a second smaller deck that has a view of the ocean and some of the other condos. This condo is basically the best condo on the property because it directly faces the ocean, and the walk to the beach is 30 seconds. The condo is spacious, and my friends and I all agreed that the photos on VRBO do not do it justice. The owner Karine was very helpful prior to our arrival, and Tica, the property manager, was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The kiosks (small restaurants) are about ten minutes drive away. We also walked along the beach to the Wyndam for drinks, which was nice. The biobay in Fajardo is about 20 minutes by car. We had a great time and would definitely recommend this spot to others."

  • Perfect Little Getaway spot

"This was my first time using VRBO and my first time to Puerto Rico, so I was a little hesitant about the whole process. Bill was great to work with! He promptly answered all my questions, put my mind at ease and lived up to all aspects of the rental process. The condo was exactly as described: clean, comfortable and a great location along the Isla Verde strip. We especially enjoyed the book and movie selection! :) I would highly recommend Bill's condo to anyone looking for an affordable, clean place to stay close to the beach, restaurants and shopping."
