  • Great vacation

"Our stay in the vile was wonderful, my family and I enjoyed it . Ilka made it easy, and very convenient for us , she met us and the car rental location allowing us more family time in the island. The villa was very clean and the location just perfect . We stayed only 4 days but for sure will go back for more this year if it's available. Thank you so much hope to see you and use your villa again ."

  • Absolute Heaven

"To be surrounded by such gorgeous, lush natural landscape, to hear all the birds during the day and the coqui frogs at night was an incredible treat. We had trouble tearing ourselves away from the porch with its view of the mountains and the palms. And it was oh so quiet!! We have never slept better (and the new bed was very comfortable!!). Although the cabin is simple it is very comfortable and thoughtfully decorated. No light pollution either. Hiking up the mountain was our daily activity. Easy drive to the beaches which take you through small towns so you can experience local life. Christina was so joyful and happy to help. She made our stay great. We would definitely return for an even longer period of time. LOVED IT!"

  • Close to beach! Spacious!

"We really liked this condo. It was spacious enough for 3 couples or a family. We appreciated that the unit complex was gated and felt very safe there. It was a 2 minute walk, across a fairly busy road, to Seven Seas Beach which had hiking trails to amazing beach spots as well. It was close, by car, to shopping, groceries, etc. We also loved that there was a washer and dryer in the unit. The place was clean and comfortable."

  • Miles of Beautiful Beaches!

"My wife and I stayed here (upstairs) for 9 nights and we loved it. You definitely want to rent a car to enjoy exploring the west coast of PR from this prime location. Rent a small one as parking by the villa is tight but manageable. Teresa’s detailed directions will get you there perfectly. The drive took 2.5 hours from the San Juan airport. Check in was easy. Florimar is right on the water in a beautiful coastal area just minutes from downtown Rincon. You can sit on the balcony or deck and listen to the waves or walk right down the steps to a private beach entrance. Although the water often was just up to the wall right at Florimar, there were miles of beautiful, sandy, virtually uninhabited beaches after just a few minutes walking along the water. Pelicans would dive for fish and a variety of crabs would scurry as we walked. It’s also just minutes by car to other great beaches like Steps, Pools, Spanish Wall, and Crashboat (the best). The upstairs unit is nicely renovated, with a great kitchen, living room (nice flat screen TV and ceiling fan), 2 bathrooms (nice tile shower), and two air conditioned bedrooms. French glass doors lead to the balcony with its panoramic view of the western Caribbean ocean. We had amazing views of both sunrise and sunset! On New Year’s Eve, we sat outside watching and listening to fireworks set off across the island. The downstairs patio/deck was large and the grill worked well. We cooked dinner and ate outside every night at Florimar. The amount of outdoor space was really amazing! We could read and relax in so many different nice spaces! It’s an easy drive into town for groceries (Michael’s is great and try Lucky 13 for breakfast). Very nice guests arrived in the downstairs unit, the day after we got there. Separate entrances and outdoor areas keep things semi-private. There were a few minor negatives, but nothing that would keep us from coming back. I do wish the bed in the master was a little bigger. Also the outdoor lighting for the lower unit shines directly onto the upstairs balcony and into the bedrooms. The coffee maker and outdoor furniture and cushions were pretty worn out, but adequate. Finally, the neighboring guest house has some quirky owners that are pretty picky about parking. Regardless of these modest issues, we highly recommend Florimar if you want to be self sufficient, do our own thing on your own time, and enjoy many private romantic moments in a truly beautiful setting. We definitely hope to go back!"
