  • Awesome Stay!!

"Highly recommend staying at this vacation rental! The owner, Giancarlo, made everything easy from the moment I emailed him requesting week we were staying to arranging the return of our deposit when we left. The condo itself is just like the pictures. Clean, comfortable, all the amentites you need (plus a pool) for a wonderful stay in Rincon. The beach is walking distance (about 500ft) and the water there is more tranquil than the surfing side of Rincon. The condo has 2 bikes, BBQ grill, beach chairs, a kayak and is close to restaurants & grocery stores. I can't say enough about this place and the amazing time we had in Rincon!! Hope to come back someday!"

  • Spring Vacation 2014.....A perfect stay in paradise!

"My husband and I were very pleased with our stay at Raphael's place. The location of the condado was very ideal for us, a few steps down to the pool and a view of the beautiful ocean from inside the condado. If you are looking for a relaxing vacation by the pool/beach, a taste of city nightlife, a short road trip to Old San Juan (magnifico) or the El Yunque National Rainforest...I highly recommend staying here. We took advantage of the kitchen for our lunches and the a/c was refreshing! Raphael was very responsive, professional, and offered great tips on what to explore during our stay. We certainly would not hesitate to stay here again."

  • Great place, perfect location

"We stayed here for a week and everything was just marvelous! The condo is exactly as described/pictured, and Alana was very helpful in setting us up with all that we needed. The beach is beautiful and only steps away. Lots of attractions are close-by (rain forest, bio bay, horseback riding, ferries to islands) and Luquillo has lots of restaurants. It's an easy walk to grocery store too. We've rented many apts before and this was really nice as everything we needed was provided - from beach chairs, sand toys & towels, to coffee filters & saran wrap. When we come back to Puerto Rico, we hopefully can stay again!"

  • Great view, great location!

"This was a great studio apartment to feel away from it all in the middle of the action. Eric provided just the right balance of friendliness and information, and giving us space to feel at home in the apartment. When he mailed the keys in advance of the trip, he even included info about the area! He imagined anything a guest could need in advance and it was waiting for us. The neighborhood is chock-a-block full of bars, shops, and restaurants, and the ocean view was amazing to wake up to. Old San Juan is a short drive/cab ride/bus away. Lots of nearby hotels offer concierge services and activities like a catamaran out to Culebra (highly recommend!) will come pick you up if you don't rent a car."

Puerto Rico Travel Tips

Visitors to Puerto Rico Vacation Rentals

Puerto Rico is a vibrant Caribbean island travel destination. It is a place where you can enjoy beautiful beaches, fine dining, a wide variety of water sports and a number of nature attractions. People who generally travel to Puerto Rico are attracted by the persistent sunshine and tropical island paradise. Depending on if you enjoy the vibrant resort-style vacation or something more remote and quiet, you can choose which part of the island you want to stay on. Relax on the beaches during the day and then hit the nightspots for some dancing in the evenings.

Best Time of Year to Visit Puerto Rico Villas

The most popular travel season to Puerto Rico is between December and April. During this time, visitors can expect hot sunny days with very little rainfall. In general, this is considered to be the dry season, although occasional rain showers do still occur. Another reason that this is a popular time of year to visit is that the humidity levels are lower. The warm weather also attracts many visitors from New York City, Boston and Chicago who want to escape the winter freeze. In general, there is little seasonal variation in the temperature in Puerto Rico. The seasons are more often defined by the humidity and rainfall. From May through October, the amount of rainfall increases, making the air muggy and sticky. This makes it feel as though it is much hotter. From July to October, tropical storms sometimes hit the islands, bringing heavy rainfall and strong winds. This is typically the low tourist season in Puerto Rico.

Getting to Puerto Rico Resort Rentals

The main airport on Puerto Rico is located just nine miles from San Juan. The Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport hosts frequent international flights from North America, Europe, South America and neighboring Caribbean destinations. As a U.S. foreign territory, flights from America are viewed as regional rather than international flights. San Juan is a major travel hub in the Caribbean for travelers from the United States. There are regular commercial flights from most major cities, including Miami, New York City, Atlanta and Houston. If you cannot find a direct flight connection from your hometown, you may consider finding flights that route via one of these main travel hubs. In total, there are 29 airports in Puerto Rico, most of them hosting regional and domestic flights. Getting around the island is fairly easy. There is a metro rail system that serves the greater San Juan Metropolitan area. It is also relatively easy to hire a car to explore the island. Be aware that traffic can get pretty congested in urban areas.

Caribbean Vacation Rentals in Puerto Rico

If you have a large group of friends traveling together or are planning a wedding, you can secure a villa that is spacious enough to accommodate everyone. You can wake up each morning in the privacy of your own home and enjoy breakfast out on the deck. Many of the villas are fully serviced with housekeepers who can take care of all the household tasks including cleaning, shopping and preparing meals.
