  • Awesome Resort..Better Villa!

"We just got back from staying in Puerto Rico and had an amazing time. While the resort is great the villa was even better. The value was amazing for what it was. Watch out for Richies cafe the local restaurant...very pricey. You must eat local food. amazing. Villla was comfortable for our needs and we loved the wooden finishings and the furniture. Amazing view of the golf course from the villa and great natural AC when you opened up the windows. Richard was easy to get in touch with....he works at the Ritz Carlton in Dorado so seemed to be in tune with all the tours and things to do in the area. Great help...Thank you!| Park at the beach club pool (5 mins awl or 1 minute drive) for free and avoid the hotel parking fees. Hotel was a 5 minute walk from the parking. Pool next to the villa was a godsend. All in all an amazing vacation...We already worked out our repeat visitor discount!"

  • Fajardo is a great vacation place for those that truly want to relax & enjoy the culture.

"This was our best vacation yet! The condo was fabulous, super clean and a breath taking view of the ocean in front and mountains with a rain forest in back. The private balcony was a favorite spot to relax and enjoy the view with friends. We have already told most of our friends that we plan to return ASAP! There are beautiful beaches both far & near with warm carribiean waters smoothly flowing into protected bays. We thourghly enjoyed the locals and their culture. Amazing food, & not a single rude person. Our 3 bed with 2 full bath condo had everything we needed to cook there, this allowed us to save a fortune by not eating out every meal. It was equipped with a washer dryer combo so we packed light and didn't bring home a single stitch of dirty clothes. There was close easy access to any place you wanted to go. Like I said, our tans have not yet started to fade & we are planning our return trip!"

  • Comfortable, clean, great location

"Carol (owner) is easy to work with and responsive. Sabrina and her husband onsite are extremely accommodating and knowledgeable. The house is basic, no frills, but comfortable and right on a nice swimming and snorkeling beach. Easy walk to grocery shopping and restaurants in Rincon. Great for families! We are wondering when we will go back!"

  • Great place to stay

"If you are considering this condo for vacation rental - do it, you will not be disappointed. Antonio (owner) answered every email, phone call that I made to him before arriving and when we arrived he was waiting for us and took us on a tour of the grounds (in the dark). He had sent 'things to do, places to eat' beforehand and is a super nice guy. The condo was clean, spacious and served our needs. It is not far from San Juan or any other tourist attraction. We will definitely stay here again if we come back to PR."

Puerto Rico Travel Tips

Visitors to Puerto Rico Vacation Rentals

Puerto Rico is a vibrant Caribbean island travel destination. It is a place where you can enjoy beautiful beaches, fine dining, a wide variety of water sports and a number of nature attractions. People who generally travel to Puerto Rico are attracted by the persistent sunshine and tropical island paradise. Depending on if you enjoy the vibrant resort-style vacation or something more remote and quiet, you can choose which part of the island you want to stay on. Relax on the beaches during the day and then hit the nightspots for some dancing in the evenings.

Best Time of Year to Visit Puerto Rico Villas

The most popular travel season to Puerto Rico is between December and April. During this time, visitors can expect hot sunny days with very little rainfall. In general, this is considered to be the dry season, although occasional rain showers do still occur. Another reason that this is a popular time of year to visit is that the humidity levels are lower. The warm weather also attracts many visitors from New York City, Boston and Chicago who want to escape the winter freeze. In general, there is little seasonal variation in the temperature in Puerto Rico. The seasons are more often defined by the humidity and rainfall. From May through October, the amount of rainfall increases, making the air muggy and sticky. This makes it feel as though it is much hotter. From July to October, tropical storms sometimes hit the islands, bringing heavy rainfall and strong winds. This is typically the low tourist season in Puerto Rico.

Getting to Puerto Rico Resort Rentals

The main airport on Puerto Rico is located just nine miles from San Juan. The Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport hosts frequent international flights from North America, Europe, South America and neighboring Caribbean destinations. As a U.S. foreign territory, flights from America are viewed as regional rather than international flights. San Juan is a major travel hub in the Caribbean for travelers from the United States. There are regular commercial flights from most major cities, including Miami, New York City, Atlanta and Houston. If you cannot find a direct flight connection from your hometown, you may consider finding flights that route via one of these main travel hubs. In total, there are 29 airports in Puerto Rico, most of them hosting regional and domestic flights. Getting around the island is fairly easy. There is a metro rail system that serves the greater San Juan Metropolitan area. It is also relatively easy to hire a car to explore the island. Be aware that traffic can get pretty congested in urban areas.

Caribbean Vacation Rentals in Puerto Rico

If you have a large group of friends traveling together or are planning a wedding, you can secure a villa that is spacious enough to accommodate everyone. You can wake up each morning in the privacy of your own home and enjoy breakfast out on the deck. Many of the villas are fully serviced with housekeepers who can take care of all the household tasks including cleaning, shopping and preparing meals.
