  • A Wonderful Place!

"My daughter, who lives in NYC called to ask me if I wanted to get away from all the snow for a few days. She wanted a great place, on the water with a nice beach to just relax and look out at the ocean. We found everything and more here @ Florimar. It is a fabulous space, inside and out; jtwo large balconies overlooking the ocean, clean, well kept with all the amenities, great beds, pillows, bathrooms, great security system (always felt safe). The owner, Teresa was a pleasure to deal with. The beach is a few steps to the left at the bottom of the stairs of the house. Lovely, clean beach in a cove. One day I saw 2 people on it for 2 hrs. and another day a family way down the beach. It was very private, almost like it was my own beach! It's a lovely walking, swimming, snorkeling beach. I highly recommend it and can't wait to return! Just lovely."

  • Top Notch Accommodations!

"This condo exceeded our expectations. It was impeccably clean, well-appointed and picturesque which made for a wonderful vacation. For our family of three it was more than enough space for everyone. As the other reviewers have stated, the condo is stocked with everything you need. I enjoyed sitting on the balcony every morning with my coffee to view and listen to the teal waters. The beach is secluded, serene and well maintained as I saw the groundskeeper rake the sand every morning. We rented a car and got to see more of the "authentic" Puerto Rico. We did an Old San Juan Bay boat tour, Horseback riding on the beach at Rancho Bueno Vista located at the Palmas del Mar Resort in Humacao and visited the La Coca Falls waterfall at the El Yunque National Forest. We had dinner at Don Pepe's located in Rio Grande and it was delightful. We also had dinner TWICE at La Parrilla located at Luquillo Beach Kiosk 2 because the grilled langosta lobster was just that good! We had breakfast at the Coco Sweet Bakery and Lluvia Deli Bar & Artefacto both located in Rio Grande and both were excellent. One tip --GPS is not always spot on in Puerto Rico. It will get you in the general vicinity so keep a look out as you approach your destination. Overall we loved our time in Puerto Rico. Edgardo the condo owner was responsive, accommodating and always available to us which made for a worry free relaxing vacation. We would definitely stay at his condo again and again and again without hesitation."

  • Beautiful view, fabulous property

"I rented this condo for a girls' trip. The pictures really measure up. The condo was clean, neat and located a very short walk to the beach. The owner was kind and attentive. She even made sure we had ice and water bottles to keep us refreshed. Although the kitchen is small, it had everything we needed for our cooking needs. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. The condo was also well stocked with towels, beach chairs, umbrellas and much more. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others."

  • Amazing beachhouse... A true getaway

"Pictures do not do this place justice! We needed a place big and private enough for my husband and I, my sister and her boyfriend (18 & 20), my 2 younger sisters and younger brother (teens 14, 15 & 17), my grandmother, my 2 boys (5 & 11). My grandmother's only request was that it be beachfront... she wanted to hear the waves at night and enjoy the beach during the day. This place fits the bill like no other. There are three decent sized bedrooms and all have A/C. My husband and I took the "master bedroom" (the only room with 1 bed in it). The beds were mostly all comfortable, although the teens could be picky so I am not sure I would take their complaints all to seriously about the softness of the bunk beds... There are two bathrooms, but one is on the porch/deck so you have to leave the inside of the house to use it... not a big deal, just something to note. The outdoor living space is really the most amazing part of this apartment... it is large and has plenty of seating. We really enjoyed the hammocks all day long... and the bench/table thing we used at night to play cards/dominoes. There is a grill out on the deck/patio that we used to grill dinner a few nights while we were there. There is no oven... which is not a big deal... my husband is a baker and wanted to make my dad something while we were there. There is also no dryer... but plenty of clothing lines to dry your clothes. There are a few shacks on the main route that is like 5 minutes away.. they have great food at decent prices. You must try some of the smoothies... the best we have ever had! It was a little difficult to find the place once you need to turn off the main route... the directions say "mango tree" I had no idea what a mango tree looked like when we first got there... and there were no mangoes on the tree! LOL but we figured it out with the help of the people the owner had meet us. It was overall an epic vacation... we enjoyed the beach 24/7... the kids even swam at night. We got to see baby turtles hatch right in front of the house... amazing. We had family come over and enjoy the beach and the amazing sunsets. The teens explored up and down the beach daily (it is a long and mostly secluded beach). There are tons of tiny crabs that come out at night... but they all run away... trust me - the teens tried to catch them several times ;-) Stay at this place!! It is so worth it!"
