  • Excellent Facility

"We were a group of 15 looking for 2 condos. We were lucky enough to find this one along with the condo right next door. We were not disappointed about our choice at all. If you are looking to get away from a busy resort, this is a perfect set up. We felt safe, it was quiet, and it was clean. There was a very small pool that was a perfect spot to start or end your day at but not a place we would have spent all day. Aurea was very easy to work with. She was quick to respond to all our email questions, met us at the airport with the keys, and upon our return home, we had our security deposit returned within a week. The condo had enough space for us to move about in without getting in each others way. Upon our arrival, we found items in the kitchen that had probably been left from previous renters. The things that were left were considered a bonus to us. It was stuff like cooking oil, seasonings, condiments, etc. At first the idea of using someone else's stuff seemed a little odd, but we quickly got over that and looked at it as a plus! There was also a binder in the condo that had a variety of information regarding things to see and do in the area. We found that very helpful in planning our days as well. From this location you have access to miles and miles of beaches. It is directly across the road from Seven Seas Beach which appeared to be a popular place for Fajardo residence. It was a little bit littered with garbage but if you took 10 minutes and continued to walk down the beach to your left, you soon discovered Hidden Beach. This beach was almost secluded and very, very clean. A great place to play in the big waves."

  • Great location on the beach!

"We stayed at this condo for 6 nights post cruise. Gaby, the owner, was lovely and great to work with. She answered questions via email and met us at the condo. She was flexible with our arrival and departure times which we appreciated. The security deposit was returned within days of us returning home. The location is ideal, beach is beautiful. We rented chairs and umbrella on the beach for $18 ($4 each for lounge chairs, $10 for a big beach umbrella) most days. The condo buildings are next to the Intercontinental Hotel and across from many restaurants and places to get groceries. Couldn't be more ideal. The Coral Beach are among the older condos on the beach but have the biggest pool and amazing security. The condo is actually perpendicular to the beach so only the very corner rooms are actually beachfront. At night if curtains weren't closed and you have the light on you are in full view of the apartments directly across. However, there is a good side view of the beach from the balcony or if you are close to the window. The air conditioning worked well but we preferred to have the windows open. The tv's had quite a few English channels including the major networks, CNN and children's stations. Internet worked well while we were there. The kitchen seemed well equipped although we did not really cook! There is a washer and dryer which we used a few times. The dryer vents into the condo with hot humid air though so we only used it when we had the sliding door open. Bring your own laundry detergent and dryer sheets. The king bed was very comfortable, had a good quality mattress with nice sheets. We slept great. Nice bedroom furniture. The comforter provided was really heavy. It might have been nice to have had a lighter weight bedspread or blanket as an alternative. There was not a bedside clock. Lots of storage. A walkin closet had hangers, shelves and space to store suitcases. Beach toys and basketball provided. The living room area was spacious but sparsely furnished. The futon was clean, looked OK but was not comfortable for 2 people to stretch out with a book or watching TV. If you only wanted an extra sleeping space it would be fine. A regular sofa and a comfy armchair would have been nice. This would be our only reason for not returning. We brought our our own beach towels, the ones provided are small (more like bath towels). We had a great week and would recommend the condo and owner wholeheartedly."

  • Shhh! Don't tell anyone, but this place is great!

"This was our first visit to Puerto Rico and Rincon and we were blown away. There is so much to do that one week is definitely not enough. This unit is in the middle of a friendly neighborhood that is centrally located to many great beaches, the town of Rincon and fabulous places to eat. It was clean and comfortable with a great covered deck with outstanding views. The owners spend a lot of time in the area and have excellent recommendations for restaurants, surf lessons, you name it. They are also quick to respond to any questions. Don't let the lack of air conditioning throw you, because the breezes and fans keep the house very comfortable and we needed covers at night, even though it was in the 80's outside during the day. If you want to experience real Puerto Rico, in a beautiful, relaxed, friendly community and not at a resort that could just as well be in Florida, then you should check out this area and stay here."

  • Peaceful location & Great view!

"My friend and I stayed here for 3 nights in August 2014. The view is spectacular! The bedroom is air conditioned and we slept very well in there. We enjoyed waking up every morning to enjoy some coffee on the balcony. Great location. El Yunque isn't far away either!"

Puerto Rico Travel Tips

Visitors to Puerto Rico Vacation Rentals

Puerto Rico is a vibrant Caribbean island travel destination. It is a place where you can enjoy beautiful beaches, fine dining, a wide variety of water sports and a number of nature attractions. People who generally travel to Puerto Rico are attracted by the persistent sunshine and tropical island paradise. Depending on if you enjoy the vibrant resort-style vacation or something more remote and quiet, you can choose which part of the island you want to stay on. Relax on the beaches during the day and then hit the nightspots for some dancing in the evenings.

Best Time of Year to Visit Puerto Rico Villas

The most popular travel season to Puerto Rico is between December and April. During this time, visitors can expect hot sunny days with very little rainfall. In general, this is considered to be the dry season, although occasional rain showers do still occur. Another reason that this is a popular time of year to visit is that the humidity levels are lower. The warm weather also attracts many visitors from New York City, Boston and Chicago who want to escape the winter freeze. In general, there is little seasonal variation in the temperature in Puerto Rico. The seasons are more often defined by the humidity and rainfall. From May through October, the amount of rainfall increases, making the air muggy and sticky. This makes it feel as though it is much hotter. From July to October, tropical storms sometimes hit the islands, bringing heavy rainfall and strong winds. This is typically the low tourist season in Puerto Rico.

Getting to Puerto Rico Resort Rentals

The main airport on Puerto Rico is located just nine miles from San Juan. The Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport hosts frequent international flights from North America, Europe, South America and neighboring Caribbean destinations. As a U.S. foreign territory, flights from America are viewed as regional rather than international flights. San Juan is a major travel hub in the Caribbean for travelers from the United States. There are regular commercial flights from most major cities, including Miami, New York City, Atlanta and Houston. If you cannot find a direct flight connection from your hometown, you may consider finding flights that route via one of these main travel hubs. In total, there are 29 airports in Puerto Rico, most of them hosting regional and domestic flights. Getting around the island is fairly easy. There is a metro rail system that serves the greater San Juan Metropolitan area. It is also relatively easy to hire a car to explore the island. Be aware that traffic can get pretty congested in urban areas.

If you have a large group of friends traveling together or are planning a wedding, you can secure a villa that is spacious enough to accommodate everyone. You can wake up each morning in the privacy of your own home and enjoy breakfast out on the deck. Many of the villas are fully serviced with housekeepers who can take care of all the household tasks including cleaning, shopping and preparing meals.
