"I just got back from Luquillo and I am already planning my next trip! The condo was beautiful and immaculately kept, the rooftop terrace is second to none and there are so very many things to do within minutes of the property. Thank you for a wonderful trip!"Guest: Dr. B Date of Stay: October 2014 Review Submitted: October 15, 2014View listing
"Gabriel was a pleasure to deal with. He was promptly available for any questions or concerns we had. The condo was comfortable and was very well situated. You are walking distance to restaurants, grocery store, bars, casinos and of course you are steps away from the most beautiful beach in San Juan, Isla Verde. The convenience of having internet access made it easy to communicate with airlines and find out information about biobay and el yunque, which are both less than a one hour drive. Thank you again, we really enjoyed our stay."Guest: Rich Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 19, 2014View listing

"We just got back from staying at Pena Mar. The condo is super nice, and the view is absolutely beautiful.. The only thing I can say about August, it is very hot. We didn't really use the rooftop terrace because there was no air conditioning. But the bedrooms were always cold with the units on. The condo is very centrally located to all the excursions we did, and the restaurants are all close by. My GPS on my galaxy worked perfect with directions everywhere . The condo has everything you need to cook, although we didn't use anything but the toaster. :) And the beach chairs and cooler were a Plus!!! Make sure you get trash bags, as there was only 1 in the condo. We would stay here again because of security and convenience to everything. The security people were very nice, and we never had a problem getting in and out. The pool is right next door to the condo and was great for an evening swim after a day running around.. We ate at the Blue Iguana in the Fajardo Inn the first night and it was great.. The staff and the food were awesome. We also ate at El Estacion , my son tried the skirt steak Mofongo and loved it.. The Kiosks at Luqillo beach are a must. And I totally recommend East Island Excursions for a Snorkel trip, and Yunke Ziplining they were both awesome.."Guest: Laurie G. Puerto Rico Travel Tips
Visitors to Puerto Rico Vacation Rentals
Puerto Rico is a vibrant Caribbean island travel destination. It is a place where you can enjoy beautiful beaches, fine dining, a wide variety of water sports and a number of nature attractions. People who generally travel to Puerto Rico are attracted by the persistent sunshine and tropical island paradise. Depending on if you enjoy the vibrant resort-style vacation or something more remote and quiet, you can choose which part of the island you want to stay on. Relax on the beaches during the day and then hit the nightspots for some dancing in the evenings.
Best Time of Year to Visit Puerto Rico Villas
The most popular travel season to Puerto Rico is between December and April. During this time, visitors can expect hot sunny days with very little rainfall. In general, this is considered to be the dry season, although occasional rain showers do still occur. Another reason that this is a popular time of year to visit is that the humidity levels are lower. The warm weather also attracts many visitors from New York City, Boston and Chicago who want to escape the winter freeze. In general, there is little seasonal variation in the temperature in Puerto Rico. The seasons are more often defined by the humidity and rainfall. From May through October, the amount of rainfall increases, making the air muggy and sticky. This makes it feel as though it is much hotter. From July to October, tropical storms sometimes hit the islands, bringing heavy rainfall and strong winds. This is typically the low tourist season in Puerto Rico.
Getting to Puerto Rico Resort Rentals
The main airport on Puerto Rico is located just nine miles from San Juan. The Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport hosts frequent international flights from North America, Europe, South America and neighboring Caribbean destinations. As a U.S. foreign territory, flights from America are viewed as regional rather than international flights. San Juan is a major travel hub in the Caribbean for travelers from the United States. There are regular commercial flights from most major cities, including Miami, New York City, Atlanta and Houston. If you cannot find a direct flight connection from your hometown, you may consider finding flights that route via one of these main travel hubs. In total, there are 29 airports in Puerto Rico, most of them hosting regional and domestic flights. Getting around the island is fairly easy. There is a metro rail system that serves the greater San Juan Metropolitan area. It is also relatively easy to hire a car to explore the island. Be aware that traffic can get pretty congested in urban areas.
