  • Great Winter Escape!

"We just returned home to the worst winter in New England for 10 years! We had the good luck of missing two entire weeks of it, snow storm after snow storm, while we enjoyed ourselves at Casa Soleada. This is our second consecutive February visiting Casa Soleada. We love the views, find the house comfortable in every way, and use it as an excellent base to travel about Eastern Puerto Rico. This year we explored Palmas Del Mar, one of Puerto Rico's finest resorts, which Casa Soleada looks down on from its amazing location. The resort offered us access to 15 restaurants and the beach; because the owner of Casa Soleada is a member there we were able to visit the lovely Beach Club complex using the provided guest passes. The resort is just a six-minute drive from the Casa, but no one in the resort had our amazing views and lovely breezes. Oh, to be back relaxing by the pool and soaking up the rays!"

  • Wonderful stay.

"This was our second stay at this condo and we loved it. The place is very nice, though not luxurious (which we actually prefer). The location is great... easy access to many wonderful places of interest on the island and off (very close to the ferry that takes you to Culebra and Viaequez... the notoriously "difficult to get tickets for" ferry that we had no trouble with). Seven Seas beach, across the street from the condo, is just okay. It's calm, and great for kids, but there was a ton of seaweed in the water and on the sand this trip. Much more than our previous trip two years. I didn't like swimming in it but the rest of my family didn't seem to mind. That said, if you're looking to just relax in beach chairs and enjoy the gorgeous views, it's wonderful. The condo is also very close to a few other beaches (20-30 min walk to Hidden beach and 15 minute drive to Luquillo Beach). We did lots of day trips so we didn't spend a ton of time at Seven Seas anyway. The pool at the condo is great. We spent a ton of time in the pool early in the mornings and early evenings. There are excellent food options close by, our favorite was El Estacion (sp??) (amazing BBQ!). We had some minor issues with the water heater and fridge but Tere (property manager) responded immediately and it turned out to be no real inconvenience. The last thing I'll say is that Tere and the property owner treated us incredibly well. We were supposed to take this trip in November and we had a death in the family the night before we were supposed to leave. Tere and the owner were unbelievably kind and allowed us to reschedule for another week. We are incredibly grateful for their understanding and kindness. That alone is deserving of 5 stars and our strong recommendation... everything else is just a bonus. We highly recommend this place and hope to return sometime soon!"

  • Great home for enjoyable stay

"My family of three generations had a pleasure to stay at this villa in the end of August - beginning of September. The house provided grade accommodations to all 10 of us (3 related families). I doubt we would feel more comfortable with this number of people and 3 families in my own house. Bathroom in each of 4 bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, large first floor space with dining room, living room, backyard, swimming pool nearby, beach - short pleasant walk away - all of these wonderful features made our stay so enjoyable! Supermarket, pharmacies, restaurants - all nearby. Driving to many PR tourist attractions is actually more convenient, than from San Juan. We were initially planning to stay in San Juan and I am so glad we opted to stay in this wonderful villa in Dorado. So much more space, beautiful grounds, true resort feel, plenty of parking (and the garage is also available). There is no comparison! Unless you are just a couple of people who want to spend most of your time in the city, without renting a car, going to clubs, etc. i do not see a reason to stay in San Juan vs. the this beautiful and spacious vacation home. I would definitely not even think twice if I was to come back to PR with my family (which, I hope, I will). Definitely, would love to stay at this villa again! Another point worth mentioning is how easy and pleasant it was to deal with the owner - Madeline. We never met her but we could feel her hospitality and caring. We received lots of useful information regarding things to to and places to go to while in PR - and to do it most efficient manner. The instructions provides regarding the stay and the available accommodations and facilities were very clear and easy to follow. All in all, it was definitively an A+ experience for all of us, which made our stay in PR truly unforgettable. Thank you!"

  • Great location, the pool was terrific and the view from the balcony is beautiful.

"This was a great place for our family. The kitchen was well stocked and the washer and dryer were very appreciated. The bedrooms were comfortable and the living room/dining area are pleasant. This is a well-situated address very close to groceries, Walgreens and the famous food Kiosks. The Beach was really great and the apartment came with bogie boards which our son had fun with. We spent part of our days in the rain forest which is an easy drive from the condo. We were interested in bird watching and hiking and being near the water, we were very happy with our stay."
