  • Private and Secluded

"I was a little worried booking online and had read all the precious reviews which helped put me at ease with my decision on renting this property.... Well let me just tell you how amazing this home is. The pictures don't do any justice to this house. Endless views of 3 neighboring beaches, private home and you feel like your at a luxurious resort. My family did not want to leave at the end of the week. Monica, the owner was very nice and attentive and always replied promptly to my emails. We will definitely take into consideration this home next time we visit "la Isla del Encanto.""

  • Iron Man participant

"My wife and my two boys had a great stay during our vacation stay and while I participated in the 2014 Iron Man race. The Ashford Imperial is walking distance to great restaurants, night life and the beach. The condo was clean and nicely equipped with all creature comforts of home. The pool is very relaxing and my boys had a super time. I would definitely rent again and recommend it to a friend."

  • Unbelievable Views!!!

"You cannot go wrong with this Condo!! My family of four (two young kids) rented for over a week and and had a terrific time - I would highly recommend!! The view of the ocean from the very large open air balcony (well furnished with comfortable lounges) is absolutely SPECTACULAR. There are 3 pools, a playground, a gym, tennis courts and a 1/2 basketball court (all of which are in top-notch condition)- plenty to keep you (and your kids) busy during your stay. The location is like 5 mins from major stores (Walmart, Ralph's Supermarket, CVS, Papa Johns...) and 5 mins from Seven Seas Beach (itself an unbelievable experience) or to the Ferry to take you to Viequs or Culebra. I cannot say enough good things about the place - you'll love it!"

  • Perfect Puerto Rico Vacation Location!!!

"You do not get the true beauty of this penthouse apartment until you see it in person. Property is located above the guesthouse rooms and everyone we met staying there were very friendly. Really enjoyed the huge deck overlooking the ocean and beach and the covered porches as well. Very relaxing, spent most of our time outside. Within hours of arrival we met Esther who made us feel very welcome and made sure everything met our expectations. The first person we met was Robert who helped us upstairs with our luggage and made sure we had everything we needed. Soon after we met Manuel and David who were always available for anything we needed, from calling cabs to planning outings for us. Cabs arrived at our gate withing 5 to 10 minutes of the phone call. All 3 of these gentlemen spoke English and made us feel welcome and never a pest regardless of what silly request we had. On our last night there David recommended we visit a nearly bar/restaurant called Baqua. What a fabulous place only 2 blocks from our apartment. While we stood outside looking at the menu Stephanie came outside and invited us in. We sampled appetizers and drinks for several hours. All employees of Baqua were always there to chat and make sure we had everything we needed. Wish we would've found this place earlier in our trip. The ocean pictured here was calm as glass for the first 4 days and only became rough on our last 2 days. Thank you Esther, Robert, Manuel & David for making this trip the best trip ever!!! Hope to see you all next year."

Puerto Rico Travel Tips

Visitors to Puerto Rico Vacation Rentals

Puerto Rico is a vibrant Caribbean island travel destination. It is a place where you can enjoy beautiful beaches, fine dining, a wide variety of water sports and a number of nature attractions. People who generally travel to Puerto Rico are attracted by the persistent sunshine and tropical island paradise. Depending on if you enjoy the vibrant resort-style vacation or something more remote and quiet, you can choose which part of the island you want to stay on. Relax on the beaches during the day and then hit the nightspots for some dancing in the evenings.

Best Time of Year to Visit Puerto Rico Villas

The most popular travel season to Puerto Rico is between December and April. During this time, visitors can expect hot sunny days with very little rainfall. In general, this is considered to be the dry season, although occasional rain showers do still occur. Another reason that this is a popular time of year to visit is that the humidity levels are lower. The warm weather also attracts many visitors from New York City, Boston and Chicago who want to escape the winter freeze. In general, there is little seasonal variation in the temperature in Puerto Rico. The seasons are more often defined by the humidity and rainfall. From May through October, the amount of rainfall increases, making the air muggy and sticky. This makes it feel as though it is much hotter. From July to October, tropical storms sometimes hit the islands, bringing heavy rainfall and strong winds. This is typically the low tourist season in Puerto Rico.

Getting to Puerto Rico Resort Rentals

The main airport on Puerto Rico is located just nine miles from San Juan. The Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport hosts frequent international flights from North America, Europe, South America and neighboring Caribbean destinations. As a U.S. foreign territory, flights from America are viewed as regional rather than international flights. San Juan is a major travel hub in the Caribbean for travelers from the United States. There are regular commercial flights from most major cities, including Miami, New York City, Atlanta and Houston. If you cannot find a direct flight connection from your hometown, you may consider finding flights that route via one of these main travel hubs. In total, there are 29 airports in Puerto Rico, most of them hosting regional and domestic flights. Getting around the island is fairly easy. There is a metro rail system that serves the greater San Juan Metropolitan area. It is also relatively easy to hire a car to explore the island. Be aware that traffic can get pretty congested in urban areas.

Caribbean Vacation Rentals in Puerto Rico

There are some definite advantages to renting a vacation home in Puerto Rico. If you have a large group of friends traveling together or are planning a wedding, you can secure a villa that is spacious enough to accommodate everyone. You can wake up each morning in the privacy of your own home and enjoy breakfast out on the deck. Many of the villas are fully serviced with housekeepers who can take care of all the household tasks including cleaning, shopping and preparing meals. Most of the vacation homes are beautifully furnished with stylish finishes and top-of-the-range appliances. Multiple bedrooms and bathrooms ensure that everyone in your travel party can enjoy a level of privacy. Enjoy a vacation on your own time where you don't need to get up in time for breakfast if you don't want to. It is the best way to enjoy vacation on this tropical island.
