  • Great Vacation

"This was a great spot for me and my friends! We had 5 people staying in the condo and it couldn't have worked out better for us. The bed was comfortable, the beach was a block away and there was a pool downstairs. Also, the people were very friendly and helpful. We all felt very safe and there was a security guard on site the whole time, so our rental car was secure. Everything you could want was provided in the condo which really helped us pack light. It was also a convenient location for us to get pretty much anywhere we wanted to go. I would recommend this rental to anyone! Thanks for everything Ana!"

  • Beautiful 3 Bedroom condo in Fajardo

"We stayed here for a few days in July. The condo is clean, spacious and well equipped. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony with the ocean breezes. There is a nice pool and a beach is only five minutes away. We would stay here again."

  • Great location and nice house

"Just returned from five days in Rincon - stayed at this nice house. Two very large bedrooms plus two smaller ones. Perfect for our group which included my wife and I, along with three 18 year old surfer boys. Loved the location - walked to Steps beach for coffee, snorkeling and paddleboarding. Also walked to Marina district and had dinner at La Copa Llena - our favorite restaurant on the trip. Marina district also has Shipwreck Restaurant, lots of snorkeling/diving, and boat rentals. Location was also perfect for horse riding with Pintos R Us, with them based out of Marina district. So location is perfect. Short ride to Domes beach, and a very short ride into town and food shopping. House is right on Route 413, which can be a bit noisy but not too bad overall. You can here an occasion truck, which was not nearly as noisy as the birds in Rincon at night. Anyway, house has two large living areas and a nice kitchen. We cooked in three nights, and ate on the large back patio - one of those nights we had the three boys barbecue chicken on the built-in grill. We could have done burgers and dogs on the grill, which would have been great, but it was a short trip and wanted to hit some restaurants. The hot water in the house is supplied by solar water tank and is hooked to only two of the three showers - which was just fine. It was hot all week, so our 18 year old son took showers in the bath without hot water and he said it was fine. Overall, a great week at a nice house. Would recommend it, especially with the price and size of the house."

  • Excellent location and value

"Communication with the owner was TERRIBLE! I never really trusted him and was very worried that things could go wrong. Well. ... the apartment was great! The location has everything you need even if you don't have a car, walking the area is safe and easy. I did rent a car and a parking spot was included. There is even a vacuum by the laundry room in the parking garage so you can get the sand out. The kitchen was equipped with the things you need for cooking. I would stay again and recommend this place to my friends. Just wish the owner had better communication skills... I've rented many vacation apartments and houses and this owner was hands down the worst I have dealt with."

Puerto Rico Travel Tips

Visitors to Puerto Rico Vacation Rentals

Puerto Rico is a vibrant Caribbean island travel destination. It is a place where you can enjoy beautiful beaches, fine dining, a wide variety of water sports and a number of nature attractions. People who generally travel to Puerto Rico are attracted by the persistent sunshine and tropical island paradise. Depending on if you enjoy the vibrant resort-style vacation or something more remote and quiet, you can choose which part of the island you want to stay on. Relax on the beaches during the day and then hit the nightspots for some dancing in the evenings.

Best Time of Year to Visit Puerto Rico Villas

The most popular travel season to Puerto Rico is between December and April. During this time, visitors can expect hot sunny days with very little rainfall. In general, this is considered to be the dry season, although occasional rain showers do still occur. Another reason that this is a popular time of year to visit is that the humidity levels are lower. The warm weather also attracts many visitors from New York City, Boston and Chicago who want to escape the winter freeze. In general, there is little seasonal variation in the temperature in Puerto Rico. The seasons are more often defined by the humidity and rainfall. From May through October, the amount of rainfall increases, making the air muggy and sticky. This makes it feel as though it is much hotter. From July to October, tropical storms sometimes hit the islands, bringing heavy rainfall and strong winds. This is typically the low tourist season in Puerto Rico.

Getting to Puerto Rico Resort Rentals

The main airport on Puerto Rico is located just nine miles from San Juan. The Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport hosts frequent international flights from North America, Europe, South America and neighboring Caribbean destinations. As a U.S. foreign territory, flights from America are viewed as regional rather than international flights. San Juan is a major travel hub in the Caribbean for travelers from the United States. There are regular commercial flights from most major cities, including Miami, New York City, Atlanta and Houston. If you cannot find a direct flight connection from your hometown, you may consider finding flights that route via one of these main travel hubs. In total, there are 29 airports in Puerto Rico, most of them hosting regional and domestic flights. Getting around the island is fairly easy. There is a metro rail system that serves the greater San Juan Metropolitan area. It is also relatively easy to hire a car to explore the island. Be aware that traffic can get pretty congested in urban areas.

If you have a large group of friends traveling together or are planning a wedding, you can secure a villa that is spacious enough to accommodate everyone. You can wake up each morning in the privacy of your own home and enjoy breakfast out on the deck.
