  • outstanding!

"We booked the house for a week. Yvonne was very helphul and answered all questions. Lying in the hammock at the porch while reading a book, enjoying the beautiful view; breath taking! The quality of the interior is way above average: the beds were very comfy as well as the kitchen was very useful. There is even a huge barbecue grill to have an extended barby! We enjoyed our stay in Puerto Rico: the people were very nice and helpful, we found some hidden beaches and enjoyed our vacation at its fullest. Deeply thank you for let us rent this outstanding house! We def comming back asap!"

  • Amazing Home Away from Home!

"We recently returned from an incredible week at Casa Mae. Our hosts were very accommodating and the house was just perfect. All communication was clear, professional, and prompt. The house has high quality finishes and all the comforts of home. The photos accurately portray the house and we were just delighted we picked Casa Mae. Rincon itself is a sweet little town and a great home base for our Puerto Rican vacation. Do yourself a favor and schedule a day trip to Sunset Snorkel & Bio-Bay at La Parguera with Rinconvactions.com. It was the highlight of the trip."

  • What a tropical vacation is all about!

"Truly paradise! We loved this little spot of heaven in the tropics. First of all we were perched on the top floor with views of the ocean & beach you can't believe until you see it. We had all the comforts of home with a comfy, large living area, big dining table and well equipped kitchen. Loved hanging out on the beach and bobbing in the waves. A couple of days we snorkeled over at Steps beach and it was thriving with fish. Got some great underwater pictures. We took a day trip over to the waterfall in Sebastian and that was beautiful mixed with some adventure. " Paradise on Sandy Beach" is a very convenient location. You can walk to some great bars and restaurants and they rent boards in the parking lot next door. Also the people were very friendly. Overall, one of the best spots I've found to relax and have some fun."

  • wonderful hosue

"My husband, two adult children with spouses, and 3 young grandchildren spent a lovely week in this house. The view was as spectacular as promised. Connie was kind enough to purchase an extra high chair for us. She was very easy to work with. One closet is filled with all the beach stuff you could want, and we used lots of it.. boogie boards, chairs, toys, etc. You don't have to bring any of that. We used the club house pool several times and had it mostly to ourselves. The property is large, near fields with some cows and horses, which our grandchildren enjoyed. We could drive to the beach in 10 minutes. The kiocks at Luquillo offered plenty of local foods as well as pizza and burgers. We're ready to go back!"

Puerto Rico Travel Tips

Visitors to Puerto Rico Vacation Rentals

Puerto Rico is a vibrant Caribbean island travel destination. It is a place where you can enjoy beautiful beaches, fine dining, a wide variety of water sports and a number of nature attractions. People who generally travel to Puerto Rico are attracted by the persistent sunshine and tropical island paradise. Depending on if you enjoy the vibrant resort-style vacation or something more remote and quiet, you can choose which part of the island you want to stay on. Relax on the beaches during the day and then hit the nightspots for some dancing in the evenings.

Best Time of Year to Visit Puerto Rico Villas

The most popular travel season to Puerto Rico is between December and April. During this time, visitors can expect hot sunny days with very little rainfall. In general, this is considered to be the dry season, although occasional rain showers do still occur. Another reason that this is a popular time of year to visit is that the humidity levels are lower. The warm weather also attracts many visitors from New York City, Boston and Chicago who want to escape the winter freeze. In general, there is little seasonal variation in the temperature in Puerto Rico. The seasons are more often defined by the humidity and rainfall. From May through October, the amount of rainfall increases, making the air muggy and sticky. This makes it feel as though it is much hotter. From July to October, tropical storms sometimes hit the islands, bringing heavy rainfall and strong winds. This is typically the low tourist season in Puerto Rico.

Getting to Puerto Rico Resort Rentals

The main airport on Puerto Rico is located just nine miles from San Juan. The Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport hosts frequent international flights from North America, Europe, South America and neighboring Caribbean destinations. As a U.S. foreign territory, flights from America are viewed as regional rather than international flights. San Juan is a major travel hub in the Caribbean for travelers from the United States. There are regular commercial flights from most major cities, including Miami, New York City, Atlanta and Houston. If you cannot find a direct flight connection from your hometown, you may consider finding flights that route via one of these main travel hubs. In total, there are 29 airports in Puerto Rico, most of them hosting regional and domestic flights. Getting around the island is fairly easy. There is a metro rail system that serves the greater San Juan Metropolitan area. It is also relatively easy to hire a car to explore the island. Be aware that traffic can get pretty congested in urban areas.
